Flexible guide, Incredible experience, 10/10 recommend!
My family and I spent 8 days with Emile (founder and owner of Lion Safaris) traveling through Kigali, Nyungwe, Volcanoes, and Akagera. I have lived in Rwanda for 5 months, and spent a lot of time finding the best company - and Lion safaris ended up coming up to the number one spot.
First, Emile: He was incredible. Very knowledgeable, personable, funny, and quite honestly the best guide I've encountered (having been on trips in many other countries as well). We always felt safe and informed with him, and his experience as a guide in Akagera and having been in the business for 17 years really paid off.
Second, the trip: Our trip was amazing. Emile booked the best hotels for us, and the process was seamless. The parks are amazing, the experiences are once-in-a-lifetime, and I was really impressed with Rwanda as a whole. While I've lived here for several months, this was my first time traveling extensively outside of Kigali and I cannot express how incredible this place is.

Next level experience, above and beyond!
My wife and I booked this trip after looking at hundreds of options. This one seemed unique. We were so impressed with every facet of this experience. Our guide Melita was just incredible and his intimate knowledge of Serengeti and the animal patterns gave us an edge on great wildlife encounters. But our biggest surprises were the cultural experiences and the people we were able to interact with. The assistant guide for the cultural experiences, Elias, was wonderful. Giving an authentic look into the tribes that he grew up in. We will never forget the beautiful people we met through him. And of course, the food was excellent and our chef made exquisite meals. Every time we peered at other people’s food, ours always seemed prepared with more care, attention and always felt special and fresh. These memorable experiences will stay with us for a lifetime.

An absolutely perfect trip！
I booked my trip to Tanzania with Dendea a year in advance for this February. They provided an excellent itinerary at a fair price, and managed to secure hotels that are usually very hard to reserve. When the sunset cocktail activity was cancelled, they refunded us without any hassle.
Our guide Walter was fantastic—he could spot so many animals, was caring and kind, and even helped other guides. In the end, we saw all of the Big Five.

The tour operator is really on a high level
After exploring Zanzibar, we decided to go on a 2-day safari with the Seregenti Sunrise team. Didas' communication was friendly and fast from the start. He answered all our questions. He arranged for a transfer from the accommodation to the airport in Zanzibar and back. The driver and guide Goti was excellent. Thank you for an unforgettable birthday present, team.

Excellent service with speedy communication and wonderful guides
I had a wonderful experience with shanjoy. From the start they were very quick to respond, and were very flexible with the exact itinerary and hotels and dietary requirements. We were pampered throuhgout the trip and the guides provided us with excellent informaiton and a keen eye for spotting animals as we were able to see all the big 5. The car was comfortable with water always provided and the camps and hotels were perfect. We found it to be excellent value for money and the service exceeded all our expectations. Overall we had a perfect trip with shanjoy and would highly recommended to anyone else

They were great!
The communication was excellent. They were quick to answer any questions and made sure we got where we had to go and had everything we needed. The whole experience was smooth from the incredible pick up and tour guide from Johannesburg to the game drives in Pilanesberg. We had a short two day safari trip and saw so much for an excellent price. This being our first time in South Africa, we knew we wanted to experience a great safari and that was exactly what we got.

Unforgettable family safari with great guides, but vehicle maintenance needs improvement.
I traveled to Kenya with my 10-year-old son, visiting Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Hell's Gate, and Amboseli. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Hell's Gate was a major highlight for us—the nature is spectacular, and learning from the local Maasai guides was deeply inspiring. Our driver, Daniel was very friendly, hardworking, and took good care of us.
To be completely objective, I must mention the vehicle's reliability. Our car broke down twice on the way to Lake Nakuru. However, the drivers on the road they helped to resolve the situation.
Overall, it was a very memorable and valuable trip. The service and communication were good, but I highly recommend the company strictly inspects their vehicles before long journeys. With better-maintained cars, this would be a perfect 5-star experience.
