Our tour operator for our four-day safari game drive was Mr. Imani Shadaffa. Managing a group of three very excited guys from the South Pacific couldn’t have been easy, especially since we were constantly asking to make extra stops along the way!
Mr. Imani accommodated almost all of our requests and answered every single question with incredible patience and humor. This meant the world to us, especially because one of our group members has a severe spinal injury. While the famous "African massage" (bumpy dirt roads) wasn't great for his back, Mr. Imani went out of his way to make the ride as comfortable and smooth as possible for him and the rest of us.
He had an amazing knack for finding the exact animals we were looking for and shared deep knowledge about the complex ecosystems and biodiversity of both the Serengeti and Lake Manyara. By the end of the four days, Mr. Imani felt like family to us.
The overall hospitality we experienced from Mr. Imani, the local safari community, and the broader tourism sector in Tanzania was spectacular and far exceeded our expectations. The warmth and generosity of the Tanzanian people left a lasting impression on all of us.
On top of that, Mr. Imani provided fresh drinking water every day and packed lunches so generous we could barely finish them! Even with a daily schedule to keep, he willingly went out of his way to grant our extra requests and "side quests" to track down more wildlife.
Communication was seamless, and his sense of humor was fantastic. He even let us hook up our music to the car's Bluetooth system along the drive! On our final day in Tanzania, Mr. Imani kindly offered to drop us off at the airport, even though it wasn't part of our booked package as a show of gratitude. On top of that, when I realized I had left my painting back at the hotel, Mr. Imani swiftly arranged to have it brought to the airport before we flew out.

Andrew was very easy to communicate with very prompt answering all questions. The driver/tour guide Benson was great very personable great driver and knowledgeable.. the girl tracking was amazing, the Safari Drive and boat tour in Queen Elizabeth was a perfect day. Long drives but worth it..

We recently had an incredible private safari in Kenya with Tazama Travel Agency, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Their communication from start to finish was fast, transparent, and reliable, offering great overall value. A guide can make or break a safari, and our guide, Fred, was exceptional—he was incredibly punctual, kept our vehicle spotless daily, possessed deep knowledge of Kenyan history and animal behavior, and showed immense patience with our photography requests. For future travelers, we strongly recommend paying trip fees online in advance rather than in cash, as local financial institutions are extremely strict about the condition of physical US bills and will reject ones with minor marks. Additionally, small currency exchanges can easily be done directly at the lodges, and for Masai Mara, staying near Zebra Plains yielded significantly more wildlife sightings. We highly recommend Tazama Travel Agency and specifically requesting Fred for an unforgettable trip!

Amazing trip to Maasai Mara
I had an amazing time in Kenya! From the Great Migration in the Masai Mara to the incredible elephant herds in Amboseli with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background, every destination offered something special.
I went cycling in Hell's Gate National Park and took a boat trip on Lake Naivasha, passing hippos while African fish eagles flew overhead. These are the kinds of experiences you will never forget.
The guides were fantastic, the lodges were excellent, and the service was great throughout the trip. I also met many wonderful people along the way, which made the experience even more special.
Kenya can sometimes feel a little chaotic, but somehow everything works out. You get where you need to be, things run on time, and you get to see the incredible wildlife and landscapes you came for.
From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. Kenya is a country I would happily return to, and I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari and travel experience!
