Highly experienced and knowledgeable tour operator who designed an outstanding African Safari.
5/5

Matthew Grace (owner / operator of "Grace of Africa" accommodation in Marloth Park (next to Kruger National Park), and Tour owner / operator of "African Safari Guru", came highly recommended by friends and exceeded our expectations. Matthew put together an outstanding itinerary based on our "bucket list" destinations (and some recommended by him) and ensured our trip was seamless in transfer between destinations, and diverse in exposure. Each experience was unique and impressive in its own right. Local guides were knowledgeable, and the level of customer service and hospitality demonstrated by the staff at every destination was impeccable. Our family felt safe throughout our trip and rate this holiday as our best ever!! We are very happy to recommend Matthew Grace and his wife Nicolette.

Our driver and guide was Andrew
He was so sweet and patient, never rushing us. Explained a lot of stuff and culture us. He made sure we were always doing okay and made sure we were taken care of. The trip it self was everything o could have asked for. Seekng the gorillas and chimpanzee. Walking in the community. I do plan on coming again and hopefully I can have Andrew again. He and I are now friends for life.

Feeling at home
5/5

We travelled in a group of 5 people (2 family with a teenager) moving from Kenya to Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngoro Ngoro, Tangarire) and we had the greatest experience among several other safari in Africa. The quality of the guide (Laban in particular) made us feel the welcoming spirit of Tanzania: he anticipated our needs, found nice spots for pic nic, prepared the table with cloth, dishes to serve food that he specifically asked the camp to prepare instead of the lunch box. He is so knowledgeable about animals, birds, plants and culture making everyday a learning and enriching experience. The vehicle are very confortable, clean, with fancy adaptations like the shade to make us travel on bumpy roads at ease. The value for money is compared to the quality of the accomodations, food, services included and to the sense of space of these great parks that don’t give the idea of overtourism. Our most beloved camps: Tarangire Simba Lodge, Zebra River Camp (in Kenya Masai Mara), Mara River Camp (North Serengeti). You need to adapt and pay attention to wild animals but you bring home a feeling of peace and connection with the circle of life. An advise, take a chance to be off line and enjoy the Hakuna Matata spirit

About: Zara Tours
Trusted
5/5

Zara Tours made this joint Kilimanjaro climb and 4-day Safari an experience of a lifetime!
The hotel in Moshi along with our lead guide Mndeme Ramadhan, Adam, and our Safari driver/guide, Mohammed were EXCELLENT. The climb was arduous and without the team effort by the entire Zara team many of us would not have summitted. Well done and Jambo!

SafariBookings, could you add a sixth star for reviews?

We dreamt this family trip for long time.
We had the chance and honour to be guided by James, the owner of Marurumi, quite recent and small safari operator: a sincere and true passion for nature and animals!

Respectful for environment and animals, incredibly competent, always polite and careful to our needs.

Jeep in good conditions and always clean in the morning, power and wifi always available for devices (clearly not a primary need for a safari but very appreciated), water always available.
Always concentrated driving in the kenyan roads, not the easiest ones in the world...

Accomodations accordingly to our mid-range choice. Special mentions to the accomodations at Nakuru and Masai Mara: the proposed ones were quite small and unique for environment and service.

Parks. Difficult to describe. James continously shared with us his know how feeding our curiosity. He was able to allow us to find all our targets and even more: 2 servals in masai mara had been the icing on the cake.

We had the chance to meet several times his collaborators leading other groups: the impression is that James had the capacity to choose them very well.

Competitive prices.

More than satisfied. We will suggest Marurumi to all our friends and we would recommend it to anyone else.
If we will have the chance to get back to Kenya we will definetely have no doubts.

We would advise others to avoid Silver Spark. In our experience, their conduct felt unethical

I booked almost 8k worth of trip and got cheated by this company . Bad broken van, terrible transfer from Kenya to Tanzania via rural road to save toll fee, worst of it is to cheat us out of hotel that we paid for to a cheap hotel in a weedful beach in Zanzibar. After promising to return 300 dollars for 8 months and 50 msg exchanges, I had to pay my friend on my own as I booked the trip . I feel terrible and stupid to have trusted them

Once in a lifetime experience
5/5

Our wonderful tour guide Tom took us on an adventure of a lifetime. We contracted a 5-day safari to experience the Wildebeest migration, and experience it we did. Tom was knowledgeable, fun, and so patient. We can’t wait to return to Kenya and check out the parks we missed this time.

This was the greatest safari of my life and an unforgettable experience at Kruger Park. I saw many animals and took plenty of photos, all safely with skilled professionals. Choosing you was my best decision. One of the best moments of my life—I hope to return with you, friends.

Our 3-day safari with Asante Bibi Safaris and Tours was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfectly organized - from the private game drives to the exciting boat safari and the comfortable lodges. The guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole trip unforgettable.

Very committed
5/5

We absolutely had an unforgettable time on our safari!

Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The guides were incredibly friendly, attentive, and very respectful – you could immediately tell how much experience and passion they have for their work. Thanks to them, we were able to experience so many amazing moments.

The camp was also fantastic: The entire team was warm and helpful, and we felt completely at home. I would especially like to highlight the food – morning, noon, and dinner – always fresh, delicious, and varied.

Many thanks to everyone who made this trip such a special experience. I highly recommend it!
