We came as strangers, but left as friends!
5/5

Our safari in Tanzania was an unforgettable experience that far exceeded our expectations. From the very first minute, everything was perfectly organized – from the warm welcome at the airport to the professional guidance of our guide Ben throughout the entire trip.

We were especially impressed by the incredible wildlife we were able to experience up close. During our 6-day safari, we visited three main stops: Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. We were lucky enough to see four of the “Big Five.” Ben has an extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna, which he shared with us in a fascinating and easy-to-understand and, most importantly, funny way.

Thanks to his experience and keen eye, we spotted animals we never would have seen on our own.

The accommodations were also perfectly chosen – from cozy lodges to luxurious tented camps nestled in nature. The staff was warm and welcoming everywhere, the food was fresh and delicious, and the service left nothing to be desired.

We highly recommend this trip and want to thank Ben and Jackson for this truly unique experience. It definitely won’t be our last safari in Tanzania!

Great safari with Suricata 🙂
5/5

We had an amazing experience, Adam, our guide did his best to see all the animals from our lists, to have the best places to take pictures, he gave a lot of information about the fauna and vegetation. The places where we slept were cozy and clean, very good food too. I strongly recommend Suricata Safari if you want to descover wildlife in best conditions.

Very knowledgeable about everything we came across.

This trip became the most memorable before day one was through. The guides knew everything, the lodging was immaculate, and the food was phenomenal.

Amazing Safari - Could not have been better!
5/5

Our family of 5 had the most amazing guide - Max! We will request Max when we return and highly recommend him to all. He was incredibly friendly, very knowledgable and set realistic expectations - not to mention an excellent driver. He was in frequent radio contact with nearby guides but never made promises. We had a 3 day, 2 night Safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and were fortunate to see all the animals we had hoped to see and more than many do on a 3 day safari. Not only did we see the "Big 5" - including a leopard with a kill in the neighboring tree, we saw numerous lions with cubs, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, baboons, monkeys, dozens of birds and so much more. In arranging the Safari, Beatrice was friendly, quick to respond and answered all of our questions. Ben gave us a detailed briefing the day before our departure. Joshua arrived right on time for our early morning transport to Arusha airport for our flight to Seronera airstrip. The accommodations were beautiful and all of the service we had was superb. We would happily use them again and will recommend Serengeti Wakanda to all of our friends. Not only did we have a great Safari, the price was much better than the other quotes we received for the same accommodations and number of days.

We had an unforgettable experience with Destiny Explorers during our safari adventure in Tanzania. From the very beginning, their team impressed us with their professionalism, kindness, and passion for sharing the incredible beauty of their country.

We visited breathtaking places like Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Serengeti, and many more, each one more spectacular than the last. Our guide was not only extremely knowledgeable but also incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel safe and welcome at all times.

Traveling with my wife, I felt completely secure thanks to their attention to detail and commitment to our well-being. Every moment of our journey was filled with wonder and discovery, and Destiny Explorers made it all seamless and enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a truly authentic, memorable, and safe safari experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Destiny Explorers. They turned our dream trip into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Stanley was very observant, knowledgeable, and very patient.
5/5

We have had Stanley was our main guide on the full day tour of Kruger. He was very knowledgeable and very kind. Yesterday we had Derrick, and Albert who were very hard working! Albert was the tracker and he found a kill site and then found lions! Gustaf was our driver for part of today as well and he was very nice and welcoming.

Memorable Kruger Safari
4/5

We booked a 5-day Kruger safari and stayed at the Radisson Safari Hotel. Ruben our MoAfrika contact was very helpful with our booking and ensuring a smooth reservation process. However we did have to follow him up to let us know when our balance payment was due. The hotel was luxurious, had a comfortable superior room, served good food at the Mirage restaurant and had friendly and helpful staff. Special mention here for Portia, our server at Mirage. Her cheerfulness and pleasant demeanor made us want to always sit in the area she was assigned to. The only downside to this hotel: slippers and bathrobes were not complimentary in the superior rooms. Front desk told us these were available only in the premium rooms.

Day 1 had us on a Sunset Drive in a private game reserve. Our tracker Gift and guide Terrence pulled all the stops in getting us to spot a lot of wildlife like impala, zebra, giraffe and 2 of the Big 5: elephant and lion which was just a few meters away from our vehicle! Terrence would run over dead trees and bushes to make our own road as Gift pointed out the way where certain animals were spotted.

On Day 2 we did our Kruger Game Drive. Note that Radisson is about an hour away from the Kruger gate that we used. So leaving the hotel at 5:30 am in 11°C weather, speeding down the highway at 80 kph in an open top vehicle was freezing cold! The ponchos provided by our guide Lambs did little to keep us warm. But shortly after the sun rose as we entered the national park, we spotted a group of cheetahs - a few adults and some cubs. It was an exhilarating start to the safari. Lambs was as informative as he was funny in describing the wildlife and explaining their behavior patterns. He was so determined to find us the elusive leopard and rhino but it wasnt meant to be. Instead we got to see the Cape Buffalo, the 3rd of the Big 5. Aside from this animal, we saw hippos, gnu, zebra, ostrich, wildebeest, and many more wild animals roaming free all around us, some like the giraffes and elephants were just on the side of the road. We even saw a herd of elephants cross the road just as we were passing through. Seeing 3 out of the Big 5 and all the other magnificent creatures made this Game Drive a superb experience. Also worth noting: unlike the Sunset Drive on D1 where the guide and tracker would drive the jeep into dense bushes and undergrowth, the guide in Kruger was allowed to use only the paved and gravel roads. He isn't allowed to drive into the brush if looking for wildlife to spot. Also, Kruger is a very safe place. We could leave our bags and jackets in the jeep while having lunch, and when we came back, everything was where we left them.

The Panorama Route on D3 took us to some very breathtaking sights. The Blydes Canyon, God's Window, Potholes, etc were all awesome places to see. It was so hard to capture the natural beauty of the landscape in photographs. Our guide was Gustaf, a very competent and safe driver. We just wish he could provide more information about the places we were seeing such as origins of the names and other significant info about the places. But in fairness to him, he would provide as much info as he could when we had questions.

Day 4 and 5 were spent at the hotel, going for an energizing workout session at the well-appointed gym, and taking a relaxing treatment at the spa.

All in all, this was an unforgettable trip, with a few areas for improvement, but the good things far outweighed the bad. Shout out to Life, our van driver who picked us up and brought us back to the airport. Starting and ending with him gave us a nice overview of Kruger and an apt way to fill in the blanks for more info that we may had missed during our stay.
