Excellent Migration Safari with Guide/Diver Mtinangi
5/5

Mtinangi is an awesome Guide and very experienced Driver over the very primitive roads. It was a continual African Massage driving. Hold on! He found all the Big 5 and used his binocular/phone trick to ensure even my cell phone captured awesome memories of tree climbing lions, leopard with its kill, black rhino, etc. Although we hunted for 4-9 hours a day for the Migration crossings, the conditions were not perfect for the animals to face the elements. We did see 16 cross but not the masses hoped for. If Mtinangi could control Nature, he would! He did everything possible including Dietary needs to make this a positive memorable experience! He is knowledgeable, personable, and a family man whose son is following in his footsteps for a love of nature and an animal advocate. You will be well cared for if you have Mtinangi for your guide.
For the company, this trip was a good value for a private tour. I would highly encourage breaking the drive into 2 days from Tarangire to Northern Serengeti. 13 hours was too long. We would have paid a bit more to arrive less fatigued. Otherwise, a very worthwhile experience. Thank you for everything!

Mtinangi was an expert guide and drive and went out of his way to make sure we had an excellent trip
5/5

The tour was very good, especially the excellent service and attention of our guide, Mtinangi. The accommodations and food were good considering 2 were in the bush. The second day of travel from Tarangire to Northern Serengeti was too long with a 13 hour day of very rough roads and would be better to have been broken up into 2 days even if it costs more. The animal sightings were amazing and Mtinangi's knowledge of the flora and fauna was very educational.

Incredible Experience and Value
5/5

I went on this tour just through word of mouth with a group of 8, for 8 days.

Thomas’s tour and my experience with him and Sunday was beyond exceptional. I am an extensive traveler, but have never been to Africa and did NO research. I actually felt a bit nervous going into it because of how “unprepared” I was. Im also a little bougie and was fully expecting to ROUGH it. So here’s my full breakdown:

+We saw EVERY animal!! Our group was so lucky - we saw lions, hippos, multiple leopards 🥹 absolutely life-changing experience from day one!!!

+every hour was accounted for. There was never wasted time and activities were all day. Optional if you didn’t want it, so interesting and one-of-kind if you did.

+We never “roughed” it. The hotels were unique and so nice - we found ourselves at times wishing we could stay longer.

+The food was always plentiful and delicious. It is heavily carb-based so keep that in mind. Lots of Ugali, potatoes, and banana.

+LOTS of driving on roads that are just entirely potholes. It can be totally exhausting. Keep in mind for elderly or people who can’t sit for long periods.

+ Thomas was always willing to stop for us ladies without complaint when we needed a bathroom break 🥹. Thomas, in general, NEVER complained and even the slightest complaint from us he DEALT with it. Total accountability and he wanted to make us happy!!

+The value for the money was insane..he wanted to make sure we had the best time and wow. I cannot explain how life-changing this experience was. It felt like a whole month in 8 days.

❗️I took a tour after this in Tanzania so I have one to compare - NOTHING like the tour with Thomas!! There was inconsistency with guides, no communication, lots of wasted time, horrible food, no care…and that was a “good” safari. So when I say you’re spoiled with Thomas and don’t take a risk, I really mean it.

Things to note:
-I did NOT research, plan, do anything 😅 So I did this tour totally in the dark
-I’ve traveled extensively but have never been to Africa
-I’ve never done a safari before but it was on my bucket list (so I had high expectations!)
-I didn’t know the girls before going on the trip, but By the end of it, we were all best friends
-I always felt safe and taken care of. We were all women and it was such a blast!!

🙌🏽Overall I’d do this trip again 10000%. I left with life changing experiences I’ll never forget, people who have become family, and memories I love.

Thank you Thomas and Sunday for the experience!!

The company is reliable and very considerate. The journey is well planned at a good price.
5/5

The service is great. Our guide Jordan is actively helping us to find animals. We could have the chance to see all the Big Five and Ugly Five. He is very professional to tell us the habits of animals, together with geographical knowledge . The journey was well planned with proper stops for washrooms. It was relaxing and friendly. There was WiFi provided during the safari, although the signal is weak in the park. The guide is experienced. He will try to find the most safe and comfortable routes. You can rely on them. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. There were hot lunches prepared during the drive. We also have water, cola and beers. In a word, the journey was good with a good price.

Absolutely correct!
5/5

We were a family of 10 adults and kids, 6nights/7 days migration safari in Kenya and everything from the first to the last day was perfect! We were met in our hotel by Bernard, the Kudu safari boss and were given an unexpected presents- T-sirts and sweaters. And, by the way, the sweaters were very, very useful, because I was not prepared for the cold August weather in Kenya and we were very grateful for them. We had two Landcruisers and our guide was Djuma and both guides were very knowledgable and responsive to all out requirements. And of course, I have to mention Edna- the office menager of Kudu safaris, she was brilliant in communicating, while negotiating. She was always available, answering promptly and accurately to all our letters and whatsApp mails! The safari was fulfilled exactly as planned an I strongly recommend Kudu! No disappontment guarantee!!!
Good Luck Kudu safaris!! Maxim Yakov and family

It was the best time of our lives. We enjoyed it a lot.

A holiday we will never forget! We booked a 7 day tour - Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate, Amboseli. Our driver, goddana, was not only an amazing driver but he also gave us very interesting facts and information about the animals. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five live on our first day and he tried to take us as close to the animals as possible so that we could see the best views :-) The accommodation and food were excellent (we were on a budget tour). The beauty of the Kenyan landscape and animals is impossible to describe. Many thanks to simian safaris for giving us such a great time. We highly recommend this company!

Caring, considerate, flexible and extremely knowledgeable about Uganda!
5/5

I did an 8 day safari and gorilla trekking experience with Kaizer Gorilla Tours and it was one of the best experiences! Thomas and his team took exceptional care of all of us from pick up to drop off. They were incredibly kind, patient and flexible as we navigated the activities for each day, while ensuring we were enjoying every minute of our experience. The gorilla trekking is something I will never forget. I can’t recommend them enough if you’re looking for a safe and unforgettable experience in Uganda.

Happy Happy!!

Shout out to Joel, the best safari guide ever!
I booked with a partner safari operator and was very fortunate to be given Joel as my guide. He has a wonderful personality and we didn’t come across an animal he couldn’t identify, and was able to make this the best experience ever! We were able to see The Big 5 and the great migration, and lots more. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide.
1000% would recommend!
Asante sana Joel and I hope we meet again.

As Joel would say - Happy happy!

Thomas, Sunday and their team gave us an incredible experience in Uganda, and everything with a smil
5/5

Long story short- This team made me fall in love with Uganda. The itinerary Thomas and team created for us over 9 days was packed with wildlife, activities and community experiences. Its not just about seeing stuff but its about learning about the country the language the tribes and the challenges people face here. This was all encompassing experience, that left us wanting more. We became a family of friends (mukwanos) and I'll always remember this experience
