All the Animals, Wonderful Experience
Our travel party was two families of 4.
Thanks to our excellent guides Filex and Amiri, we were able to see everyone’s favorite animals - plenty of lions, elephants, cheetahs, and even a few rhinos. Everyone left thrilled.
We settled on Suricata after doing a thorough price comparison and combing through review feedback. They lived up to our expectations. We had minor car issues that the drivers handled admirably

Our 8-Day Safari with Ramble Africa: A Trip We’d Book Again Without Hesitation
Five adults, eight days, four incredible national parks, and one unforgettable guide — our safari with Ramble Africa exceeded every expectation we had going in.
Booking and Communication
Everything about the pre-trip process was refreshingly smooth. All communication happened in English, and we were able to finalize every detail while still in Germany — no last-minute surprises, no confusion. We paid the full amount in advance, which meant we didn’t need to carry cash or deal with high-fee ATM withdrawals in Kenya. For anyone who values a stress-free start to their trip, this made a real difference.
Arrival and Route
On the first morning, we were greeted warmly in Nairobi by the organizer and our guide, who picked us up in our safari vehicle. Over the following eight days, we visited the Masai Mara, Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Lake Naivasha — a route that offered a fantastic mix of landscapes and wildlife.
Accommodation
We stayed in a mix of lodges and standard hotels, both booked at a mid-range level. The lodges were our favorite — they felt more authentic and had a distinct character that the hotels sometimes lacked. That said, both categories delivered on the essentials: friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious food, and an overall hassle-free experience. Even when early-morning game drives meant we missed breakfast, the staff always packed us lunch boxes without us having to ask twice.
The Safari Vehicle
We traveled in a typical safari tourist vehicle — clean, safe, and well-equipped. Both the front seats and the rear cabin had access to an opening roof, which let us view animals not just through the windows but from above as well. The roof doubled as sun protection during the long drives between parks, which was a nice practical touch.
Accuracy of the Offer
What we saw matched exactly what was promised. The hotels and lodges lived up to the photos we’d been sent beforehand — nothing was exaggerated or oversold. Given that we booked mid-range accommodations, the standard consistently met Western expectations. For most travelers, this category is more than sufficient.
Our Guide: Aron
If there’s one thing we want to highlight above all, it’s our guide, Aron. He showed us every animal we could have hoped to see and was incredibly knowledgeable about Kenya, patiently answering all our questions. Even after early starts and six-hour drives, his energy and motivation to give us the best possible experience never dropped.
What stood out most was how much he genuinely loves his job and does it with fairness and care. Despite spotting every animal on our list, he never pushed past other tourists in the parks or tried to put us ahead unnecessarily. He simply knew where to find the best sightings and got us there. Rather than startling the wildlife, he’d watch how the animals moved and position the vehicle perfectly, letting them approach naturally — which gave us the best possible photos.
He’s also an exceptionally careful driver, both inside and outside the parks. When another vehicle got stuck in the sand, he didn’t hesitate to help pull it out. Aron made this trip unforgettable.
Tips for Anyone Considering This Trip
• Pay everything online in advance so you don’t need to carry cash.
• Register for M-Pesa if possible — it makes tipping much easier.
• Wake up early more often; animals are most active in the morning.
• Choose lodges over hotels when you have the option.
• Mount Longonot can be climbed without a guide.
• During rest stops between parks, don’t just grab coffee at the gas station — cross the street and interact with locals. It’s worth it.
• Ask for Aron as your guide :)
We’d book this exact trip again without changing a thing.

Exceptional Service, Amazing Guide, Unforgettable Memories
After comparing many safari operators, I chose Mountain Warriors because they offered the best itinerary for exactly what I was looking for: Northern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Their proposal stood out from the rest, and after completing the safari, I can confidently say it was the right decision.
I'm naturally a very demanding and skeptical person, especially when planning an expensive once-in-a-lifetime trip. I had countless questions before booking, and Rosemary answered every single one promptly, professionally, and honestly. At no point did I feel pressured—only well informed.
As a wildlife enthusiast who has spent years watching documentaries about the Serengeti, my expectations were extremely high. I thought I knew what to expect, but the reality exceeded anything I had imagined. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife and experienced unforgettable moments that simply can't be captured on television.
The lodges selected by Mountain Warriors were beyond our expectations. They offered spacious and spotless rooms, delicious food, and, above all, genuinely warm and welcoming people who made every stay memorable.
Finally, our guide, Victor, was exceptional and made the entire safari unforgettable. He was professional, approachable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his job. His experience, wildlife knowledge, and ability to find animals were remarkable. If you're booking with Mountain Warriors, ask for Victor—you won't regret it.
Mountain Warriors delivered everything they promised and much more. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari in Tanzania.

Fast and good communication, well organized, a great organization.
We booked a 5-day budget group camping safari directly through Safehands via the internet, including return flights to and from Zanzibar for our family (my wife, our 19-year-old daughter, our 17-year-old son, and myself). We were able to choose the exact travel dates, and communication with Safehands, especially Santos, was excellent from start to finish.
When we arrived in Arusha, we were met by a Safehands representative and taken by taxi to the meeting point, where we joined the other participants in a 4x4 safari vehicle. As is common with group safaris, our group was combined with another tour operator. Fortunately, we had a fantastic group, which made the experience even more enjoyable for everyone.
Unfortunately, after the first day I became ill and decided to stay behind alone after our first night at the campsite. Thankfully, I felt much better the following day, but the challenge was how to rejoin the group. By then they were already deep in the Serengeti, a very long distance away. On the afternoon of the third day, Safehands managed to arrange a private 4x4 transfer to the Ngorongoro campsite (for an additional fee), allowing me to reunite with my family. Sadly, this meant I missed the Serengeti.
I really appreciated the way Safehands helped and supported me during this difficult situation. My family thoroughly enjoyed the Serengeti safari, even though the vehicle broke down a few times. That was simply part of the adventure and can happen with other companies as well, since many safari vehicles are older and the road conditions are extremely rough, with countless bumps and potholes.
The final two safari days, when I was able to join again, were fantastic and went smoothly without any further problems. After the safari, Safehands also arranged our transfer back to the airport.
Overall, we were very satisfied. We had a wonderful safari experience, were happy to leave a generous tip, and would like to thank Safehands for organizing such a memorable trip. Thank you, Safehands, for this amazing safari!

The Safari of a Lifetime
Our safari exceeded every expectation. From the initial booking and trip planning to the seamless coordination throughout our journey, everything was handled flawlessly. The operations manager took care of every detail, making the entire experience effortless and stress-free.
A safari is only as good as its guide, and Samwell truly made our trip unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always attentive to our needs. His intelligence, experience, and remarkably sharp eyesight meant we were often the first to spot wildlife and arrive at sightings before anyone else. His passion for the bush was evident every day, and we learned so much from him.
The lodges and tented camps were spectacular—each one unique, beautifully designed, and full of character. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, and the food was consistently excellent.
This was the trip of a lifetime, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this team to anyone planning a safari—they truly deliver an exceptional adventure from start to finish.

"Rewild Away", if you are looking for a real experience in Tanzania, more than only the "Big Five".
A trip with Tanzania as your destination? Google 'tour operator Tanzania' and in an instant you'll find 100 organizations offering you a trip, tailored or not, usually focusing on ticking off the 'Big Five'. However, this wasn't what we had in mind.
In a list of participants for the “Verre Reizen Event” in Antwerp, “Rewild Away” was listed as a travel organizer solely for Tanzania. When we browsed the website, we immediately felt that this approach would be really personal. We were also really drawn to the philosophy of responsible travel with a focus on nature and support for local communities, especially women.
Soon after, there was a warm phone conversation with Ineke, which felt as familiar as if you had known her for years. She listened carefully to our wishes, our way of traveling, and even suggested a number of activities herself. This resulted in a first travel proposal and, with a few adjustments and additions, a “17-day immersion” in T At Arusha airport, we were greeted by Hassan, our 28-year-old driver, guide, table companion, travel buddy… His calm, safe way of driving allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the landscapes while moving between the national parks. During the game drives, he always made sure we were in the best position to spot and photograph the animals. We had all the time we needed to wait for the perfect shot. In our many conversations, we also got a clear picture of how Tanzanians live, like a (truly) close-knit family, and what the differences are between the numerous tribes… Hassan is really an awesome guy, and you need someone like him for an unforgettable, worry-free trip without any annoyances.
Our accommodations, carefully chosen by Ineke, completely matched our expectations: “tented camps” to be as close to nature as possible while still having the necessary comfort, “caves” with the Maasai, and more. Some of these places also supported local communities, like a school or an orphanage, which made us feel even better about staying there. The warm, spontaneous contact with the local people, who even welcomed us into their homes, will stay with us forever—more, even, than spotting the Big Five.
Dear Ineke, thanks to you, Hassan, and the team at “Rewild Away,” we were truly able to enjoy an unforgettable immersion in Tanzania. We will definitely tell our friends and acquaintances, and who knows, maybe we’ll make plans to explore another part of this fantastic country with you.

Great safari, friendly staff
Great first safari experience. 8 days in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire. Our guide Adrian showed us everything there was to see - highlights are a cheetah hunt, immense wilderbeest river crossing, leopard sighting, encounters with prides of lions and huge herds of elephants. All accommodation, food and transfers were arranged effortlessly for us in addition to a hot air balloon ride over the Northern Serengeti. Our honeymoon was celebrated throughout the trip with cake, singing and dancing by lodge staff. Going home with amazing memories and so many photos
