9 day multiple site safari with family
5/5

Last December I contacted Jane about a safari for my family in August. I told her we were adventurous and that we liked camping. I explained that I had read about many of the options in Botswana for safari but was not sure what would be the best places to go, mentioning that we wanted to end in Victoria Falls. From the first response Jane was encouraging and helpful. She came up with an agenda that looked like it would meet our needs. Every question I asked was answered and I felt, even before I met her, that I was in very capable hands.
Jane met us at the airport and off we went. This trip was truly an adventure. We started in the Delta and then to Savuti and ended at Chobi. In each location Jane and her amazing staff set up a comfortable camp where each time we returned it felt like home. The meals were simple and delicious. The time around the campfire each evening was relaxing. Jane has so many wonderful and interesting stories. The animals and the birds were amazing but what made this trip so special was Jane's unvoiced commitment to make sure we saw as much as we could and her determination to make each game drive special and interesting. Jane's knowledge of the plants, animals and birds made each sighting even more interesting. The mokoro canoe trip she planned for us was great as was the boat ride down the Chobi river. When we got to the Zimbabwe border Jane was so helpful in guiding us through the procedure and helped us find the driver we had arranged. I cannot say enough about Jane and her staff and the wonderful adventure. I would say it was a trip of a lifetime but we plan to return soon

Wonderful experience
5/5

We are so fortunate to choose KETS as our tour operator for our first Safari Trip. As a group of five from Hong Kong, we have limited knowledge regarding the continent. The 7 days and 6 nights Safari Trip is well-planned and well-organized. Every details are taken care well. The itinerary is good and we have seen all the things we want. The driver and guide is very professional. He takes very good care of us and drives safely for the whole journey. With his sense of humor, he instills a lot of fun and laughter along the journey. Our guide, Lucky, has profound knowledge in the safari and can help to locate the animals we love to see.
We all enjoy an unforgettable Safari Trip! KETS is highlyrecommended!

An Amazing Safari
5/5

This summer my wife and I along with two of our friends from Australia went on a 13 day photographic safari in Tanzania.

Brian Mengoriki of Ecological Wilderness Adventures orchestrated a most amazing safari for us. We have run out of superlatives when discussing Brian Mengoriki. He was punctual, accommodating, flexible and extremely knowledgeable of wildlife, not only of the large mammals, but also of the birdlife, plant life, local culture and the jungle lore which embodies all of these. He went that extra mile to enrich our game viewing, diligently taking us to all corners to make sure that we see much more than just the ‘big five’. His knowledge of routes through large parks such as the Serengeti is truly remarkable.

On this trip we spent 3 nights in the Tarangere National Park (never heard of this place before but totally worth it), one night at Lake Manyara National Park, 5 nights at the Serengeti National Park and two nights at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Preserve. We have come away with valuable experiences, memories and pictures. As an avid wildlife photographer this trip is something which I will remember for a very long time. We also got to meet members of the Masai tribe, visited their dwellings and learned how they blend with the wildlife in the area.

We look forward to visiting E. Africa again for another trip with Brian.

Everithing has gone perfectly
5/5

We asked for a tour tailored on our personal willigs. Everything has been well planned and organized. Lodges and camp sites were excellent and so was the Zanzibar Hotel. Our guides/drivers were good, patients, friendly and have explained us many things about Tanzania. It has been a wanderfull holiday and we will remeber it for a long time.

We got all we were promised and even a bit more!
5/5

We came to Arusha for organizing safari and climbing Kilimanjaro. Mr. Robert organized both tours for us. We got individual tours for a very good price. We explained what we wanted (schedule, places etc.) and all was done as we wanted. We had great time, super guides, tasty food, we saw many animals, we were on the top of Kilimanjaro, we are really happy that booked these tours in Oltumure Tours & Safaris. We did not have to pay any more than it was discussed. And we even got some things for free (taxi to/ from the centre of Arusha -- many times + upgrade of our accomadation). Mr. Robert is a person you can trust. Highly recommended!

Most amazing experience imaginable
5/5

The activities (safaris, tours, lions walks, etc.) were so different and more than we could have hoped for. That alone would prompt me to write a glowing review, but Round Afric travel was absolutely great. The airline lost my friend's luggage when we arrived, and she literally had nothing. The company not only did everything to make sure we still made it to our activities but found time to drive us to stores in between to meet her needs. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I could not think more highly of them.

Unforgettable memories
5/5

Afrishare Trekking & Safaris should be your first choice while choosing a company to do either a safari or a kilimanjaro climbing in northern Tanzania.
The kindness and the availability to provide help of Ibrahim are fantastic...I arrived on Friday and they came to pick me up at the airport; Ibrah's nephew, Aziz, went with me along Moshi's town, just to let me feel comfortable, it was amazing.
The accomodation hostel is so nice, the food amazing, everyone try to help you.
The safari was very nice despite the short lasting (just two days).
I will go back there either for a safari or for a volunteer programme (Afrishare solutions); however, I will recommend of course to all this company!
Asante sana na tuta onana tena!!!!!

Excellent budget safari
5/5

This was an amazing safari for the very affordable cost is presented. Dennis was our contact with the safari company, and he kindly picked us from our very remote locale in Kitui county and drove us to Nairobi where we met with the van. Our travel to and from the Maasai was quick and safe.

While there, we stayed in very nice tents, inside which were beds (fully apportioned), flush toilet, and hot water shower!!! (I had been living in a village without any of those amenities…) The campsite had wonderful food, but we had to pay for water. It's not expensive (~100Ksh for 1L) but it does add up; might be advisable to buy giant 5 gallon water jugs and bring those.

The safari drives started on-time and followed the trails in the park to show us the main animals. We didn't see any rhinos or black leopards, but we saw everything else. The driver was incredibly knowledgable about the park, the animals, and the history of the area. It was a fantastic tour on a budget and I'd recommend it without qualification!
