Transactional experience rather than immersive & educational.
Our experience with Amshar was good. The package of safari with hot air balloon, with accommodation and food was great.
Our driver was very efficient at getting you to point A to Point B, we saw all the big five up close. Which was phenomenal, but our driver was missing enthusiasm about these animals. We received little to no information as to where we were driving to next, when we arrived to an animal, you’re expected to kind of know already what animal it is. Any questions were responded to with one answer words.
In the safari car you get a cooler fridge, we asked multiple times to drop for refreshments aside from water, like Coke & beers ( to enjoy all day driving) it was like asking for a favor to deviate from course. Reliability and Value for Money was very good. This was just our experience and I guess everyone wants different things. Our group would have rather had a more immersive educational experience and see only 3 of the big five.

The best way to discover the animals of Kenya and savannah.
It was a wonderful adventure. The hotels were wonderful, the food and services lived up to our expectations, even beyond. I would especially like to thank our guide, Kaleb, without whom this experience would not have been as magical. Kaleb is a funny, friendly and very attentive person; he did everything to teach us a lot of things while adapting our safari to our desires. Thank you very much.

My journey with KeRata began as a first-time solo female traveler from the USA. I say this because I had many reservations and insecurities in the beginning. Erick was very patient and reassuring before, during, and even after my trip. He continuously communicated with me and answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. He patiently worked with me and my itinerary until we were able to develop an itinerary that included all of the activities and accommodations that I wanted. Erick presented an array of available options to accommodate my budget and produced a seamless itinerary for me. This was all before arriving. Once I arrived, I had no worries. All accommodations were in place just as he had stated. At every destination there was someone waiting to accommodate me for my next leg of the journey. There were a couple of miscommunications with some of the meal plans at the hotels, but Erick was always a phone call away and immediately had everything taken care of. All of the tours were conducted by very professional and knowledgeable operators who were kind and helpful. Any questions I asked were answered with great detail. Honestly, I did not expect such a great experience for the price. Erick and his team exceeded my expectations. If you’re traveling solo or with family you have no worries with Erick and the KeRata team. He took excellent care of me, and I know he will do the same for you because it’s his kind and caring nature. He and Aggie even went the extra mile to give me a surprise birthday celebration with a cake and quartet of singers. Thank you Erick. Fun, exciting and friendly safari tour
We had a really great experience of this safari tour and we had our best time of our life. The safari operator program is so good which takes us to see a lot of animals and environments in the wild life. Our tour guide Edward Masaki is really knowledgeable of the wildlife animals and explains it so well to us. He’s also an experienced and good driver. To conclude, the service is good and I will definitely recommend Gosheni to people who are coming to Tanzania for safari tour.
