A Safari of a Lifetime with Serengeti African Tours
Our experience with Serengeti African Tours was nothing short of incredible. From the very beginning, Linah did an amazing job preparing and organising our 5-day, 4-night safari. Everything ran so smoothly, and the attention to detail made it stress-free. I must say I was slightly worried before hand, would we be picked up from the airport would they show up for the safari. I had absolutely nothing to fear everything ran so smoothly. And the Tanzanians are the most friendly people I have ever met.
We opted for a budget camping safari, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more. Spending two nights camping in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro was magical. Waking up to zebras and giraffes grazing right next to our tent is something we will never forget! While I expected the safari to be great, it was so much more – truly a holiday of a lifetime.
Our journey took us through Tarangire National Park, two days in the Serengeti, then Ngorongoro Crater, and finally the smaller but beautiful Lake Manyara National Park. Each park was unique, but after the very first day in Tarangire, I knew this trip was going to be special. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife: countless antelopes, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and four of the Big Five – buffalo, lions (so many of them!), elephants, and even leopards. We were blessed to spot four different leopards, including cubs – something many safari-goers never get to see! We also saw a cheetah with her cubs on a recent kill. The elusive rhino gave us the slip, but that didn’t take away from the magic of this adventure.
A big part of the experience was thanks to our amazing team. Josephat, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best sightings. Richard, our chef, cooked the most delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners every day – hard to believe it was a camping safari!
Although this was classed as a budget trip, it felt absolutely premium in terms of experience. Camping in the wild made it even more special, though be prepared – at 2,300m in Ngorongoro, it does get chilly at night!
I cannot recommend Serengeti African Tours enough. This was a trip of a lifetime, and one we will treasure forever.
Tip for future guests: Definitely ask for Josephat as your guide and Richard as your chef – they truly made our safari unforgettable.

Booked salina tour as our anniversary trip and didn’t regret at all, we spent our time worry free as they help us manage everything for us. Our guide daniel is also very knowledgeable about the safari animals and everything overall. Price is quite affordable too.. definitely will book a tour with them for our next africa’s trip

Before the tour, Chiral was great in considering our feedback and is very responsive to any queries we had. We were very happy with the itinerary.
During the tour, everything was seamless and well organised. Robert our guide and driver was very informative and tentative.

Incredible experience with incredible people
The most incredible experience. Me and a friend done it for charity, we chose to do the 8 day lemosho route. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of guys to help us along the way. They had a smile on their face everyday which keeps your spirits high and they are the total unsung hero’s on Kilimanjaro.
I lost my dad in February to motor neurone disease before this trip and the team learnt the words to his funeral song and sang it while we were on our way to summiting and while I spread his ashes at the top. They really do go above and beyond and treat you like family!
We would recommend them to anyone who is wanting to take a trip with them!

What a week! Had the best time doing the 8 day Lemosho trek with Almighty Kilimanjaro. Everyone was amazing from start to finish and kept us smiling, laughing and most importantly well fed all the way to the top! Honestly couldn’t ask for a better team to do this with and everybody went out of their way to look after us and treat us like family. An incredible experience with the most incredible people. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about doing this trek as they won’t let you down! Thank you so much again guys, asante Kaka!!

I recently took my family on holiday to Zanzibar.
We did several trips whilst we were there and flew to Tanzania for a 2 day safari .
We booked all our trips in Zanzibar and safari in Tanzania with Didas who was absolutely first class at organising everything from the flight to the excellent accommodation , park passes, food & drink
Everything was 100% perfect .
Our safari guide Vincent was friendly spoke fantastic English and wanted our safari Experience to be one we would never forget !

The ideal organisation for our trip around Uganda!!!
In July 2025 my 2 teenage kids and me were travelling to Uganda! What an experience!!! As soon as we got in touch with African Runners Company it was a great pleasure to start to organise our trip with the most sympatic and helpful Patience from the ARC-office in Kampala.
The proposed tour was afterall the perfect mixture of adventure, sightseeing and relaxing.
Driving through Uganda in a huge Toyota Landcruiser, George our Guide and Driver showed us all the hidden gems of this amazing country.

Everything absolutely reliable, fast and friendly
I chatted with Arnold via WhatsApp for a few days or weeks before booking, and he accommodated all our requests and was very helpful. It wasn't just about completing the booking quickly.
I felt very well looked after. Payment was also seamless.
Our flights from Zanzibar to Tanzania were booked reliably, and the tickets were forwarded to us without any questions.
The transfer to and from the airport to the accommodation worked perfectly.
We were picked up at the airport by Andrew and Brighton (our guides) and set off on our first safari. We spend 3 days with them (we booked a privat Safari).
They were attentive to our needs and desires during the safari. We also had lunch with them every day at special locations.
They explained a lot to us, but we also had great conversations and jokes with them. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time to the fullest. Saying goodbye after our three days was a bit difficult :D.
It's clear that for Andrew and Brighton, it's more than just a job. They really enjoy it.
We would highly recommend Major Treks and Safaris and our two guides at any time.
