Great tour, brilliant guides, overall tour planning could use polishing
4/5

Overall we really enjoyed our tour which was a 3 day safari followed by a 7 day Kilimanjaro climb. The food was great, the Kili guides were brilliant and the porters all first class.
What could use improvement is the overall organisation of the trip for the following reasons:

1. Despite having picked the Safari for the accommodation which we carefully selected for our honeymoon, we were taken to a completely different place on one night and when we questioned this we were told the other one was probably full. Nobody ever attempted to advise us ahead of time and this should have been booked when the deposit was taken earlier. It was a similar but I believe slightly lower standard.

We never went to the final national park that was stated on the Safari itinerary. We weren’t bothered by the change but it was never advised why this happened, and if you had booked the tour specifically for each of the different national parks I can imagine being quite annoyed.

We were put on a 7 day Kili climb with another couple despite having booked the 8 day climb. The difference between the two tours was $200pp ($400 total) which was never offered as a refund (and would have been gratefully received). We ended up having to spend quite a bit of money reconfiguring our flights and accommodation to the new schedule so this was less than ideal. One of us didn’t make it up to the summit due to altitude sickness symptoms which may not have been the case had we remained on the 8 day.

Essentially we just felt that we should get what we booked/paid for and if any changes are necessary that they be communicated to us ahead of time and compensation offered where the offering is changed.

Excellent & reliable agency
5/5

After an hesitation to book an online safari paying an advance of 30%, I finaly done it and Lions Paw Tours is really reliable. Julius who communicate with me is just excellent. At the end it was an extraordinary safari with our guide "DIDAS" and unforgoteable moments we spent.

Enthusiastic
5/5

From the moment we signed the operators were very response and always checking in, the driver Peter was very enthusiastic and went to great efforts to make sure we could see as much as we could on the safari! The staff at the lodge we stayed in were all very welcoming and helpful and the sunrise boat tour was a wonderful touch!

Once in a lifetime safari experience – Highly recommended!
5/5

We just came back from the most incredible 8-day camping safari with Meru Slopes, and we can’t recommend it enough! From start to finish, everything was perfectly arranged, and the entire team went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable trip. You get a really good value for the money you pay!

First of all, our chef Dulla was absolutely amazing. He’s not only the sweetest person ever, but also the best chef – we were surprised every day by the delicious meals he prepared three times a day.

Nickson, who picked us up from the airport, made us feel welcome right away. He’s incredibly friendly and knows everything about Tanzania – we learned so much from him before the safari even started.

Our main contact, Gift, was super responsive and helpful. No matter the question, we had an answer within minutes – that level of service made the whole experience stress-free and smooth.

And of course, the safari itself was absolutely magical. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with so many other incredible animals and landscapes. Sleeping in tents under the stars was better than expected and felt like an important part of our once-in-a-lifetime experience.

If you’re looking for an authentic, exciting, and well-organized safari adventure, book the 8-day camping trip with Meru Slopes. You won’t regret it!

And we definitely recommend to ask for Dulla as your chef and Nickson as your tour guide. Those guys are so funny, friendly and enthousiactic about the safari!

He is friendly, understanding, patient and very social.
5/5

I loved everything about the trip. The driver (Benjamin) made things fun, he listened to our requests like during the game drive the things we wanted. He kept time, and communication was passed well and gave us a chance to suggest the timings and anything regarding the trip.

A professional and well run organization
5/5

I did the Zimbabwe and Botswana Game Tracker in May-June 2025, with 11 other travelers. Our transportation was a Sprinter mini bus.
We were a very diverse group with the youngest being 22 and oldest (me) 71, coming from 5 different countries. The group dynamic was fantastic. I found Sunway Safaris to be a very professional company and everything ran like a well oiled machine. The food was wholesome varied and plentiful, prepared by our 2 multifunctional guides. There was always a full crate of fruit availabe in the bus, to sweeten the long hours of travel. Expect some long days of travel, through very bad and potholed roads, (in my opinion worth it for the amount of game we saw). Our guide and driver, Cloud was an excellent driver and didn't hit a pothole once. The accommodations were at best, very good and at worst adequate and clean. The itinerary was varied with cultural, botanical and geographical aspects also covered. Sunway can' t guarantee how many or which animals we would see, but we seemed to be very lucky and got to see all the five plus cheetah. I would like to compliment our guides Ayibongwe (Ay) and Cloud, for being cool and collected in all situations, passionate about their jobs, the animals and local folklore, and could also cook well. Thanks to you both, we couldn't have asked for better guides.
I would definitely recommend this tour.

Very smart tour operator with good flexibility and handles emergency situation very professionally.
5/5

We contacted Perminus, 4 months before safari. From day 1, he has been very polite, professional and very responsive.
We started our Safari with Joe, Chris/Patrick as our tour guide.
We covered majorly, Amboselli, Naivasha, Masai, Lake Nakuru safari game drive for 6 continuous days with our tour guides.
We had a car breakdown scenario but the way Africa Marvel Tour handled the scenario in half hour and ensured trip goes smooth as per plan was appreciable. We also got a Upgrade in our stay.

We had a kid with our group and special care was given to kid all the time.

Game drive was fun and fantastic, We were lucky to see Big5 in our game drives.

Special Credit to Joe for handling everything very well.
Collins was with us all the time for guiding us inside the park and some nice photographs.
Overall a great experience and would recommend Africa Marvel Tour to all Safari Enthusiast to experience this beautiful and culturally rich country.

An unforgettable first safari — professional yet full of joy
5/5

We went with my cousin on a 5-day safari starting from Arusha, and from the very beginning, we felt safe and truly welcomed by African Big Cats Safaris — especially thanks to our guide, Dominick. Thanks to them, we didn’t just get to see the incredible landscapes and wildlife of Tanzania, but also got a glimpse into the local culture and daily life.

The vehicle they provided was always in excellent condition, the accommodations and meals offered great value for money, and communication throughout the trip was clear and transparent. One thing we really appreciated was that the company never tried to upsell us. On the contrary, they seemed genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience, even offering some complementary services and advising us against certain activities given the season we visited.

As for the safari itself, we managed to spot 4 of the famous Big 5 — leopards were a bit shy this time, but we were lucky enough to see some stunning cheetahs instead ;) We took amazing photos and learned a lot about animal behavior and the different species along the way. Dominick, with his 9+ years of experience, had a great eye for spotting wildlife and picking up small details from far away, all while making sure we stayed safe. He also shared plenty of interesting facts about nature and the Maasai traditions, which made the trip even more special.

Absolutely amazing safari trip in Tanzania with Easy Travel
5/5

We had an amazing experience during our family’s recent safari trip in Tanzania with the great services from Easy Travel from the beginning to the end. Masuma at Easy Travel put together an incredible 10-day itinerary for us including visits in Tarangeri, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. All the accommodations turned out to be luxurious, high quality and unique. She was very professional, responsive, friendly and efficient. Easy Travel team also took great care of us before our safari tour with a nice briefing. Our driver and guide Emil from Easy Travel was an highlight of our safari tour. He was very professional, experienced, caring and helpful. With his guides and services, we saw dozens of different animals including all Big Fives, learned a lot about the history, cultures, animals and environments. His amazing care and guide for us made our Tanzania safari one of a life time adventure and experience. I feel very fortunate to have found Easy Travel online and used them as our safari tour agent. Thank you, Emil and Masuma at Easy Travel!
