As part of my trip planning, I contacted 16 travel agencies. I had a very specific idea for our group. As crazy as it sounds, this was my fifth trip to Tanzania and my fifth ascent of Kilimanjaro. Therefore I knew exactly what we wanted. After all the agencies had submitted quotes and after writing many emails to clarify all outstanding questions, only three of the agencies remained on our short list. Pumba Reisen was one of them. While William's quote wasn't the cheapest of the three, he was 100% committed to implementing our ideas and that’s why I chose him. There was no "That's not possible!", no "We don't offer that!” and no "That will cost hundreds of euros more!" to our planning inquiries. Instead, the answer was: "We'll look at all the ideas together and see what we can implement." And it worked. We were already satisfied before we arrived.
During the trip itself, we also felt the attention to detail and the outstanding service and felt completely in good hands. We had a fantastic team on the Kilimanjaro Mountain, an exciting safari and excellent accommodations at all stops.
And we were not the only ones having a great time. We had the impression that William also took good care of his team on site and that it was very pleasant to work with him. That was very important to us.
For my sixth trip to Tanzania, I will be once again trusting William and his agency, Pumba Reisen. I'm really looking forward to it! This is the first time I've chosen the same agency twice. I was and still am very impressed.

Fondness vacation is an excellent tour provider. They went to the extra mile to make sure that I have a great time. I got my money's worth. Knowledgeable safari guide
Our guide, Kim, made our safari in the Masai Mara very special. Seeing the animals is of course fascinating, but he was so incredibly knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about each and every animal. His eye sight was also amazing and he could spot an animal from so far away! He was also very friendly and warm, and we felt very well taken care. We also appreciated the team's flexibility as we were planning our safari as they provided many different personalised options to explore Kenya. Highly recommend Tanzania Roadside.

Very professional and very knowledgeable guide and excellent service
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to your company for arranging our guide, Andrew, during our trip to Tanzania. Throughout the journey, he was not only thoughtful, warm, and attentive, but also very knowledgeable. Whenever we encountered any issues, he always handled and solved them promptly, which made us feel completely at ease.
What impressed us most was Andrew’s exceptional thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Every day he carefully prepared our lunch boxes, adding fresh vegetables such as salad, cucumbers, and tomatoes, just to meet our personal preferences and special needs. This kind of care made us feel truly valued.
In addition, he always managed to find the best spots to witness the great migration, as well as other wildlife moments. While observing animals, Andrew demonstrated an incredible sensitivity—he could quickly detect their movements and bring us to the perfect angle to appreciate and photograph them. His deep knowledge of the animals—their habits, behavior, and the times and places where they were most likely to appear—left a lasting impression on us.
Thanks to Andrew’s professional guidance, our experience went far beyond our expectations. We were able to witness the magnificent wildebeest migration as well as the wildlife we had always dreamed of seeing, including cheetahs, leopards, and lions, elephants, giraffes and zebras. Because of his great efforts, we were so lucky enough to encounter all the animals we had hoped to see.
We are truly impressed by Andrew’s professionalism, dedication, and thoughtfulness, and we also deeply appreciate the careful arrangements made by Meru Slopes. This journey was not only smooth and enjoyable but also far exceeded our expectations.

Knowledgeable, attentive, personable guide
Our driving tour around Rwanda and Uganda was a highlight of the trip. Farouk was an amazing guide. We enjoyed all his knowledge of both countries that he shared with us; we felt like we learned so much. He was very accommodating and flexible with timings and activities. We always felt in safe hands and appreciated all his guidance. It was wonderful to get to know him as a person as well. And of course, the gorilla trekking was one of the best experiences of our lives. We also very much enjoyed the additional activities and accommodations suggested by Kaara Adventures. Highly recommend and well worth it.

A Perfectly Planned and Unforgettable Safari Experience
Our safari with Moria Safaris was an unforgettable experience. The itinerary was perfectly planned, starting gently and building up day by day, culminating in the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. By the time we reached the crater, if you were lucky, you had already spotted all the animals, which allowed the last day to be enjoyed simply for the incredible beauty of the landscapes—a truly fitting way to end the journey.
For such a short safari, including a visit to the northern Serengeti was a remarkable highlight. Very few tours, even longer ones, include this area, and it was an absolute success to reach it and witness the Great Migration—a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle.
Another point worth mentioning is how much the operator cares for their guests, going out of their way to help solve any issues that may arise during the trip, even those not directly related to the safari itself. This level of dedication is rare and deeply appreciated.
Finally, I must highlight the cook, who prepared delicious and abundant meals every day despite the challenging conditions of the journey.
Overall, it was an extraordinary and wonderfully organized adventure that I will never forget.
