We had an amazing 19-day journey through Madagascar with our guide Joshuiá and driver Manoa. The itinerary was extensive—over 1,000 miles on rough roads and 650 miles by plane—covering seven national parks, nature reserves, charming towns, and two west coast beaches.
Joshuiá coordinated everything seamlessly. His enthusiasm, deep knowledge, and pride in his country made every experience special. He was also very attentive and flexible, adjusting activities to match our pace and interests.
Manoa was an exceptional driver who navigated Madagascar’s challenging roads with patience, skill, and good humor. Despite long travel days, his cheerful attitude and smile never wavered.

Amazing Safari with Steve
From start to finish the experience was incredible thanks to our guide, Steve. His passion for wildlife was contagious and made every day on safari exciting and enjoyable. With his deep knowledge and excellent local contacts, he always seemed to know where and when to find specific animals, giving us unforgettable sightings. Steve also made us feel completely safe and comfortable, even in the middle of lion/leopard/rhino territory when a bush-toilet stop was needed.
What stood out most was how much Steve cared about making the trip feel special. He went out of his way to make our experience as premium as possible, even securing us an upgrade to a fancier lodge in the Maasai Mara. His thoughtful approach, storytelling, and genuine warmth made him feel less like a guide and more like an old friend we had known for years.
On top of that, we felt the safari offered excellent value for us — balancing quality accommodations, seamless logistics, and a truly personalized experience. For anyone seeking a safari that combines professionalism, passion, and great value, I cannot recommend Boots Safaris and Steve highly enough.

Wow, we just came back from a 3 week trip organised by Vanessa at greatest Africa and couldn’t be happier. The best trip of our lives! Vanessa made it so easy for us, she was a wealth of knowledge. I was a bit nervous using an overseas travel agent at first, but my nerves were quelled once we had a video call to meet. Vanessa answered our every question, concern, actioned changes, made suggestions, all in a very timely manner. I couldn’t recommend her or this company enough for your safari planning. She was easily accessible via WhatsApp and email and kept in touch throughout the trip to make sure everything ran smoothly (which is did). I have already recommended Vanessa and greatest Africa to all my friends, colleagues and family and hope to convince my parents to do a similar trip next year.

Silas, our tour guide, was outstanding! Not only was he knowledgeable about all the animals but he spotted animals that others drove right past. Highly recommend!! It was amazing how close you can be to the animals.

Incredible Journey with Serengeti Smile
This was an incredible safari. First and foremost, I'd like to thank our agent, Baraka from Serengeti Smile. We discussed itineraries and hotels for over a week, and he provided me with seven drafts, ultimately helping me perfectly finalize my itinerary for Kenya and Tanzania. Baraka was also incredibly skilled at securing hotels. When other agents told me the Sarova Lion Hill Hotel was sold out, Baraka assured me they had a room. His reliability is undeniable. Our guides for the Tanzania safari were Champion and Dominic. I can't express how exceptional they were. Since we'd already seen the Big Five in Kenya, we had specific requests for hunting, river crossings, and black rhinoceros, and they made it all happen! Furthermore, during the safari, they didn't just show us the animals; they also explained their habits, lifestyles, and history. In just a few days on safari, I learned more about animals than I've ever learned in my entire life. I'm truly grateful and highly recommend Champion and Dominic as your guides in Tanzania. Guide David was awesome
We did our 7 days safari and it was the best with our guide David. He was excellent in spotting animals and explained much about flora, fauna and Kenya history.
