Kilimanjaro and Safari
The Safari and Kilimanjaro hike was even better than I expected. Ibrah was extremely accomadating and made sure that everything went to plan. On our Kilimanjaro Hike, the Guides were extremely experienced each having summited more than 60 times, and it showed. They knew exactly what they were doing and all of our group got to the top. The safari was Great as well, Fred, our driver was amazing. He knew exactly where to find the Animals and we saw nearly everything we wanted to see, Cheetahs, Lions, Monkeys, Hippos, etc. We were very happy with our experience.

Trip of a lifetime
A wonderful trip -- guides Norman and Andy were knowledgeable, skilled, communicative and fun to be with. They offered information before we asked, answered all our questions gladly, and showed us the marvels of Mana Pools and the Zambezi River. Support staff was also superb. Highly recommended!
Comprehensive professionalism
Extremely prompt and reliable communications given that we booked from overseas with a 6 hour time differential.
Excellent advice and itinerary planning tailored to our preferences and requirements.
One of the most enjoyable holidays we have taken, with all worries taken care of by African Welcome Safaris. We will be back.

Professional, nice accommodations, perfect logistics, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide
Makasa offers tailor made safaris. Based on your preferences and budget they compose the safari holiday of your desire. The accommodations were nice and all the transport in Tanzania was well arranged. Our guide really contributed to the success and joy of our holiday. He was enthusiastic, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the animals and nature, and - last but not least - he was a very safe driver. Since a safari is pretty intense, we were happy to relax a couple of days at Zanzibar. In sum: a great experience! We certainly want to recommend Makasa.

The best Safari..
We would hereby give Gecko Safari, Rama Mo and Said Nganga our beset recommendations. We travelled to Tanzania in July 2014. Before our departure we contacted Gecko Safaris the email correspondence was very easy and Rama Mo very fast understood our wishes and put together a perfect program for our safari. We went to Udzungwa Mountains and Seleous nature reserve. Every question we had regarding the trip was swiftly answered by Rama Mo. The price for the safari was very reasonable compared to other tour operators. When we arrived in Dar es Salam everything was exactly as planned, we had Said Nganga as our guide and driver for the 6 days. He was an excellent guide with an enormous knowledge about his country; plants, animals, history geographic and politics. He was friendly, professional, funny and very good company during the trip. Furthermore he is the best driver; Fast, but all the time safe driving on dirt roads, with crazy African traffic. On the safari we saw any animal you could expect, even several lions, all due to Said´s knowledge and skills. Accommodation and food on the trip was all very nice. All in all a perfect planned and fantastic trip thanks to Rama and Said.
Best regards Lotte, Tyge, Oskar and Stine

Awesome day tour in Ngorongoro
We just had one day available so that's what we wanted to see, the crater, and boy it was amazing! They took us there really really early so that we could make the most of the day. We saw a lioness hunting, cheetahs, huge huge huge elephants that were out of this planet. Car was great, driver (Emmanuel) could spot a rhino with just his eyes while we had trouble finding him with our scopes, though the binoculars they gave us were TOP. Highly recommended.

Amazing Safari with Makasa
We used Makasa Tanzania Safaris for a trip to Ngorongoro Crater and had an amazing time! We saw a ton of animals, a Maasai village and beautiful scenery. Our driver Jamal was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Prior to our trip I was in email communication with one of the owners (Selma), who was just as great as Jamal. Selma answered our questions, booked us at a fantastic lodge (Endoro Lodge) and was very professional. I will be returning to TZ this winter and fully intend to book with Maksa again. Thanks for making our trip memorable!

This clue is in the company name but we felt we really got our money's worth and had a GREAT time.
Everything went smoothly, excellent communication with the office and ground staff. A friend recommended this company after her two student sons and young friends used them. Excellent value.

Unbelievable wildlife and cultural experience with Ecobushman.
Isaac has an in depth knowledge and understanding of things natural and cultural in his native land along with the skill and enthusiasm to pass these on. We have been lucky enough to have enjoyed two expeditions with Isaac and would be back now given the opportunity. Don’t expect the ordinary - be prepared for experiences beyond those of the commonplace supermarket quality expeditions to see the big five if he organises your tour.
If you are fortunate enough to travel with Isaac, this might include such memorable experiences as:
stopping to right an upturned leopard tortoise, taking a detour to a lake formed by witchcraft and dancing like a sarus crane to teach children the value of the wildlife on their doorstep, giving a handshake with heretofore unknown significance to a man selling a cow in a remote market town – (Isaac sorted out my error with the greatest of good humour; I didn’t know that I had sealed a bargain to purchase the beast – he warned me there and then not to shake hands with the man stood with his three daughters!), adding a few pages to your bird book, eating the best fried tilapia in East Africa, hobnobbing with friends on a remote hill tea plantation, cooking eggs in a geyser to an audience of the entire Nairobi Girls Choir, enjoying an outdoor sauna over the “wife burner”, learning the subtle differences between the river nilot and the plains nilot, pausing to phone someone because a “new” bird just moved in to the region, getting up very early at least once to experience a breathtaking sunrise on the savannah, being forced to wait for your barbecued goat whilst the cook’s boy chased your supper down the road, having the opportunity to take that iconic fish eagle shot – (Oh well there’s always the next time to get it perfect!), sitting around the camp fire late at night with a couple of Tuskers curing each of Africa’s problems in turn and if you are very fortunate having the chance to meet his wonderful family and making a lifelong friendship.
