Mr. Nuhu’s team created an African adventure for family fun, adventure and affordable!
5/5

Our group of 28 family members and one long time friend, ages 1-83 embarked on an African trip with Ozon Light tours July 26-August 10. After traveling 20 plus hours from Anchorage, Alaska we landed on Zanzibar Island. Our first stop at Marafiki Bungalows on Zanzibar Island was a perfect combination of beautiful ocean front water, a delightful swimming pool, large accommodations with netted beds, and an open air restaurant with the most amazing food and obliging staff. Our day trips across the island included a spice farm, Stonetown, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins and turtles and a sunset Dhow boat tour. After a few days of relaxing island life, we flew to Arusha to begin our safari. There to greet us was Mr. Nuhu, owner of Ozon Light tours, and his energetic team of drivers and office managers. Our four skilled, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful drivers of Toyota landrovers drove us first to Tarangire National Park. Fortunately our time in Tanzania was during the dry season which meant no rain and not a lot of foliage obstructing our view of the multitude of African animals and birds. Our first night on safari was at Eileen’s Tree House with comfortable netted beds inside tents surrounded by lit paths that led to the restaurant. Again the food was delicious and plentiful. Each day we were sent off with a packed lunch to view endless land and water animals and birds. We drove North through Central and Northern Serengeti parks. Driving alongside the wildebeests and zebras migrating the Serengeti plains north to Kenya was an absolutely fascinating experience! Our final day of Safari was a drive down the Ngorongoro Crater to see the Big 5 grazing on the lush green grasslands. As we headed back to Arusha, we stopped at a cooperative market stocked with thousands of handmade gifts and souvenirs, followed by a visit to the Africa Safari compound of beautifully crafted high end art pieces. Our final stop was at a Maasai village where the chief’s son proudly showed us the small mud and dung huts, the warrior dance and a visit to the market to purchase beaded jewelry and carved items made by the villagers. Every person we met on our tour genuinely greeted us with warmth, a big smile and often times singing and dancing! This trip was affordable because it was the only company who offered a discount rate for the various ages in our group. We want to Thank Mr. Nuhu and his team for creating for us a once in a lifetime adventure of Africa!

Review about Samburu National Reserve by Lara Hauser

Samburu National Reserve was amazing. The lodge we stayed at was the best of our entire trip, the landscape was beautiful, and what made it really special was spotting animals we had never seen before — like the Grevy’s zebra, the gerenuk, and the reticulated giraffe. Highly recommended!

The Masai Mara was the best national park I’ve ever visited. So many amazing wildlife sightings, and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. When I return, I’ll definitely do a balloon safari.

We had 3 camps going from primitive to luxurious. Each camp was wonderful and offered different experiences. We loved Oddballs as it was small scale and beautifully situated on a river with the most friendly people. Travel between tge camps with a small plane. We loved it. The Kwai guest house had wonderful off track safaris and they sponsored the local school which very much impressed us. The camp on the Chobe river had an amazing boat safari where we saw the animals again so close when they swam to an island

I had an incredible experience traveling through the western part of Uganda. The landscapes, wildlife, and natural beauty were absolutely breathtaking. Everything from the lush forests to the serene lakes made this trip unforgettable.

I want to especially commend for safaribookings.com search engine as a gateway for finding operator, ECOVIC Tours & Travel for their excellent organization and professionalism. Every detail of the itinerary was well-planned, and they ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout.

About: Kenya
Kenya offers absolutely stunning landscapes, incredible wildlife, and a lot of safari sightings

5/5

Kenya is truly a dream destination for nature and wildlife lovers. The landscapes are absolutely breathtaking — from endless savannahs to dramatic escarpments and lush greenery, the scenery constantly amazed us.
The wildlife is just as stunning. I've been on safaris in other countries before, but Kenya offered by far the most sightings. We were lucky to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, and even leopards up close, often within the same day. The sheer abundance and variety of animals was incredible.
One of the absolute highlights was witnessing the wildebeest river crossing — a powerful, once-in-a-lifetime experience that left us speechless.
We also had the chance to learn more about the fascinating culture of the Maasai people, which added real depth and perspective to our journey.
We visited in August, during the migration season, and while that brought amazing wildlife moments, it also meant certain popular sightings attracted many other safari vehicles. In some spots, the number of cars and the sound of engines did affect the experience slightly — sometimes scaring the animals or disrupting the atmosphere. Still, the beauty and uniqueness of each encounter far outweighed those moments.
Kenya stole our hearts — for its nature, its people, and its raw, wild magic. Highly recommended!

I was quite dissapointed of Arusha. The city is a transient hotspot and not at all safe or even nice. Its the gateway to Kilimanjaro and Safaris. The food is really bland and not so good.

From the very start of our tour planning to the very end of our tour just perfect , thank you !!!!
5/5

Dennis was the most experienced driver i think. Because of his vast knowledge about the national parks, we saw the 5 Five within 2 Days and it was pretty fun.
And our second guide Paschal , who guided us in Tansania ,told us many informations about every animal we saw and it was very informative.
Brian managed our tour and if we had any questions or problems, he was reachable for us at all the time. Thanks for a wonderful holiday !!!
