Professional, budget friendly and great for solo travelers
5/5

From the moment I made an initial inquiry I and my questions were handled with care and attention. This was especially appreciated as a young solo traveler. Helen who helped me make my booking was always readily available for any questions I had. The tour itself went smoothly. I was picked up from the airport given a complimentary shirt and binoculars (though they may adversities them, they are often absent from many safari jeeps. Having one for myself made the safari 10x better). Saw 4/5 of the big five on the two days I spent and also got to see hyenas, the animal I most wanted to see. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional budget friendly safari experience.

Definitely first choice among the safari operators!
5/5

Tour guide is the key to safari experience. Our tour guide Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable, reliable, and experienced. We managed to observe a big lion family, a cheetah with cubs, and three leopards very closely within 1.5 days of safari, which is totally above our expectation! Besides, Andrew is very passionate about wildlife, and there is not a single question about wildlife that he could not answer (he is very professional, almost like a biologist!) On top of that, Andrew has a very pleasant personality, and communication between us has always been very smooth. We are very lucky and grateful to have him as our tour guide.

This is the second time that we’ve booked safari tours with Gosheni. They have some Chinese sales reps and response is quick. Price is also fair. More importantly, they always check hotel availability first before recommending to us, which reduces booking uncertainty (some vendors need to arrange payment first before checking). However, I think the quality of their guides is mixed. Andrew is definitely a surprise while our Kenya tour guide is a bit disappointing.

Excellent operator, I am very satisfied, I recommend it.

I successfully climbed Uhuru Peak (Kilimanjaro)with this company in February 2025 on the Lemosho route (7 days).Everything was organized perfectly, from meeting at the airport and transfer to the office to picking up the missing equipment and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay. The next morning, transfer to the start of the route and a magical 7-day trip to the roof of Africa.Thank you for the clear and well-coordinated work of the entire team-the management and office staff, the driver, the porters, the cook, and others.I would also like to thank Ilya's guide, who is not only a professional guide, but also has extensive knowledge of animals and plants, geology and the history of Tanzania.Talking to him was a real pleasure for me during this trip.Separately, I would like to thank the management of the company for the quickly issued climbing certificate, as well as gifts in the form of a T-shirt with the Kili logo and a package of Tanzanian coffee.A wonderful trip, I hope to apply again and recommend it to everyone!

WORTH IT but room for improvement
4/5

Stanley, the owner, was fantastic for all pre-trip communication, very clear and attentive, answering all questions and reserving a place for us whilst we waited for visa.

The safari trip itself was hosted by a guide from another company which we were not informed about, but the guide Omar was very experienced, knowledgeable and well-informed with great attitude and a big smile. We were so glad we had Omar for our entire 5 days and built a good relationship with him but many other travellers were not so lucky and were thrown around different cars and groups. This was a surprise to us having different people in the car each day as the organisation from the office seemed very chaotic trying to accommodate different itineraries. Unfortunately this practice led to our itinerary being changed around on Day 2 (Lake Manyara first instead of Serengeti). We went along with it and still visited all the destinations but it was less ideal than our original itinerary. Also, we didn’t realise that group tours bundled travellers living in different accommodations (eg. campsite vs lodge) so there was quite some time wasted on driving for pick up/drop off, especially in Serengeti where accommodations were 45mins or more apart.

When we reflected this to Stanley, he was very sorry and did his best to make it up to us. We trust that he will sincerely make improvements for future tours.

On the positive side, seeing the animals - including all Big 5 - in person was an absolutely AMAZING experience, as was meeting travellers from around the world! Accommodation at the lodges was great, clean and comfortable, but be aware that camping public campsite is not for everyone with shared sleeping bags and very basic, sometimes extremely dirty, toilet facilities. A chef came with the group to cook for us and he did a great job with hot lunch and dinner so we were well looked after meals-wise! You definitely do get a good “African massage” from the bumpy roads but the car was comfortable and provided a great view (aside from when it broke down few times).

All in all, some questionable organisation norms and unexpected car issues aside, it was definitely worth it seeing the wonderful animals and the magnificent landscapes!

For first timers like us, we recommend checking with your tour company if you will be with the same guide the whole trip, and if on a group tour like us, whether your itinerary will be honoured. Also, we found that 24 hours in Serengeti is way too short as it is such a HUGE area and much time was spent driving long distance in and out of the park, as well as dropping/picking up other travellers from their accommodation. In hindsight, we would go for an extra night in Serengeti for more dedicated game drive time and to take it all in.

Very attentive agent and great itinerary
5/5

I booked a gour-day tour to Victoria Falls with MoAfrika and was greatly pleased with the agent named Rishen who always responded quickly and gave all the info I needed. He also accommodated a major date change I requested after the initial booking had been all set and invoiced.
The accommodations, transfers, and tours included in the package were all perfectly delivered.

Attentive to every detail. Bateleur Eagle delivers an unforgettable and fabulous safari.
5/5

Bateleur Eagle Safaris are an absolute must if you are looking for the best safari experience. My safari was filled with excitement and laughter. We saw all 5 species. They are masters in finding the wildlife and getting close to nature. They are also very informative about the animals, their habitats and the African culture. The guides are kind, courteous, knowledgeable and professional!!!

Amazing arrangement in every where, super c/p value
5/5

We have a nice/professional customer service - Elijah. With clear response for our questions or requirements, tour arrangement, and payment- He is the 1st key man to my family to choose Leopards Orchid as our tour operator in so many providers.
The 2nd key man is our tour guide/driver, the nice/humble/well known/aggressive to provide the safari information, finally we are not only finding the big five but a lot of animals or bird we never see in Zoo or in the other places, such as Hyrax...It's so amazing 😍 to us....
The finally key man is boss James, I ask if can purchase the Leopards Orchid tour's hoodies, he agrees, and send us after 2 days. It's very useful in this weather (June), and the unforgettable suviniors. He also help us to upgrade the accomodations to a Villa, yes...Villa.. amazing 🤩 again.
I really thanks this team, and hope you if can visit in the not highest peak season, the value will be over rated than your expectations from Leopards Orchid tour.

These are very nice people, very well organized & super safari
5/5

The communication from home was very accurate and precise. We were followed for every questions and doubts. It was one of the best prices I found on SafariBookings. Gerald was our guide and he was really kind and helpful. The tour itself was very very nice. The places are amazing and every stage was pretty well organised. The most beautiful things about the journey were the lodges. They were almost luxury lodges, at a normal price. And the period was perfect beacuse we were almost alone, also at the gorilla trekking. I will do it again with Ecovic Tours & Travel Uganda for sure.
