My partner and I had an amazing time in Kenya with the itinerary created by Agnes and the team! Agnes was extremely helpful with all the questions I had and went above and beyond to help us in the preparation and during our stay. She was kind enough to greet us on arrival at the airport. Exceptional, above and beyond service from the outset and throughout
I cannot recommend Lekobe Adventures enough! From our very first enquiry to the final moments of our trip, everything was planned to absolute perfection. Jessica was simply outstanding in every respect and she tailored our itinerary to suit our needs, including seamless flights from Zanzibar to Arusha.
Our adventure began with Day 1 in Tarangire National Park, followed by an unforgettable Day 2 exploring the Ngorongoro Crater (a must). We stayed overnight at the Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge, which was superb, comfortable, spectacular views over Lake Manyara, and a perfect place to unwind after a tiring day of exploration. One of the highlights was having a private safari vehicle for the three of us, which I would highly recommend for anyone seeking a more personal and flexible experience. Lekobe were incredibly responsive throughout, providing all the details we needed and much more! All transfers were punctual and comfortable. A special mention to Suleiman, who drove us from our hotel to the airport with great professionalism and warmth.
Our safari guide, Emmanuel, was absolutely exceptional. His vast knowledge of the national parks and wildlife, combined with his friendly and genuine approach, made our experience truly memorable. We were genuinely sad to say goodbye. We were well catered for throughout the trip, with plentiful water, beer, wine, and thoughtfully prepared lunches. Every detail was considered, making us feel completely looked after.
I would not hesitate to book with Lekobe again and we absolutely will for any future trips. OUTSTANDING service and unforgettable memories!

Total scam
We paid about 7 months in advance half the cost for Mark from Gorilla Holidays to get our permits. Then on arrival I paid the remainder in cash. When we arrived to Bwindi, it turned out he didn't buy the permits, so we lost $3200 for the 4 of us. He also didn't pay for the last lodge and I had to pay for it or they wouldn't let us go. So you can imagine, coming all the way to Uganda to see gorillas, do all the travel across the country to Bwindi to find out that there were no permits. Mark promised to refund us, but a month later there is nothing and he told me "it's a lot of money." I bet it is. To get a reliable operator, as I found out too late, you should go to the Bwindi NP site and they have a list there. And we are not the only people that Gorilla Holidays did this too.

Tanzanian tour operator with a smile
We booked with a Tanzanian tour operator, Termite Tour Travel led by Benjamin, and it made all the difference. From the first message to the final drop-off, everything was well-organized, and reassuringly dependable. Lodgings were excellent and well-chosen. But most important of all, Benjamin’s warm, easygoing manner had our three-generation family clicking from day one. He kept a calm, unhurried pace, letting the wildlife (and our coffee) do the rushing for us.
As our guide and super-driver, Benjamin was outstanding: safe, attentive, and a sharp spotter. He always found beautiful places— golden plains at breathtaking Serengeti, sweeping crater views at Ngorongoro, and elephant families threading Tarangire’s baobabs—then parked us perfectly for quiet, respectful viewing.
Beyond the laughs, what stood out most was Benjamin’s local knowledge and deep respect for nature and culture. As a Tanzanian operator, he shared insights into everyday life and traditions with warmth and care. He tailored explanations for each generation, so every sighting came with meaning—not just a photo.

Exceeded expectations, such an amazing experience.
Wow—what a trip! Our safari and beach holiday with Splendid Locations was absolutely unforgettable. We were a bit unsure at first since they’re a smaller company in Kenya, but they totally nailed it. Everything we wanted, they made happen.
James our organiser, was a star—always reachable and super organised. We left our passports and valuables behind in a lodge safe (oops!), and they got them to us safely at the next lodge hassle free. Steve our safari guide was professional and knowledgeable and we felt in safe hands the entire week. We saw four of the Big Five on our first safari—such a thrill!
We also added an extra day of sightseeing in Nairobi before flying home.
Huge thanks to Splendid Locations for making this holiday so special. We’ll definitely be booking with them again!

Memorable experience between Terengire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro
It was our first time in Africa and the expectations were very high, everything took place and was organized in an impeccable way! The hotels/lodges where we slept turned out to be comfortable and excellent for our 6-day Safari between Terengire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro! A special mention for the Baobab Serengeti Central that gave us unique and immersive emotions in the middle of the Serengeti. Alex our guide is a guy who despite his young age has an incredible experience, knows the parks very well and is phenomenal when he can identify animals !! Thanks to him we saw many animals some very difficult to see like Cheetah and Leopard! Good driving led us to discover these fantastic places giving us a lot of information about animals, places and local people and traditions. It was the perfect guide and always available that in trips like this you hope to find!
