culture tour to karimojong with Florence
One afternoon, we went on a cultural tour to visit the Karimojong people. We explored their traditional villages, which consist of mud huts. That in itself was a highlight, but we also got to watch the traditional dances performed there daily. These weren't dances staged for tourists, but a genuine reflection of their traditional way of life; seeing it was truly extraordinary. Afterward, we visited the herders who tend to their cattle, goats, camels, and donkeys away from the village. At night, the animals are gathered into traditional enclosures made of branches. Here, too, we gained deep insights into their way of life. Our guide was Florence from Kara-Tunga Arts & Tours, and she did an exceptional job. She possesses extensive knowledge—hailing from a village herself—and offers excellent insights into their lifestyle. Plus, she is incredibly friendly and simply a joy to be around.

Our guide was amazing, and the team was incredibly supportive. We saw everything we hoped for!
Our wonderful guide Michael found everything on our list and more - a massive river crossing, all of the big 5, baby cheetahs and leopards up close, a lion stalking its prey and crocodiles hunting wildebeest. Michael treated us very well, and had a great intuition of where all the animals were hiding! Thank you so much Michael!!
The team at Fantastic Time Travel were extremely attentive and helpful as we planned our trip, and while we were out on safari. Even though we booked last-minute, they helped customise our tour to suit our preferences (flying out to Northern Serengeti rather than driving, spending extra time in Central Serengeti on the way to Ngongoro, and searching for as many hyenas as possible for our hyena-obsessed friend). They cared about perfecting the little details, like putting aside a bit of extra money to keep a cooler stocked with beer and soft drinks at the back of our car. The accommodation they booked for us was outstanding - particularly Mbuni Migration Camp in Northern Serengeti.

Very well organized and systematic
We had booked a 7 night / 8 days package with meru slopes, the itinerary was very well planned & relaxed. The coordination for veg food as per our request was also very well managed. Our tour included tarangire, ngorongoro crater and serengeti national park. Our tour guide and driver Mr. Moody was very informative and fun. All the accommodation provided was very hygienic & comfortable. The trip stood true to it's value for money. Mr. Leonard from meru slopes was very cooperative and helpful. The service was truly top notch. The entire tour was nothing short of magical & wonderful. You can definitely trust Meru slopes to plan your holiday to Tanzania.

DIANI EXCURSION
Our daughter was celebrating her 5th birthday and we chose Diani as the celebration point over the weekend as the schools are open. We contacted several tour companies and Francis from Kirug safaris was the quick to respond to all our queries. We had a budget for the trip and he ensured that he worked within that, providing us with a very good accommodation at Swahili beach resort.
We undertook several activities in Diani but the most memorable one was activies in Kisite Mpunguti marine Park. We were able to swim with the dolphins, had amazing water excution activities like snorkeling and wind up everything with wonderful lunch at Wasini island.
It was the best experience of our lives and we recommend these activities if you happen to visit Diani.
We will surely go back again and will contract Kirug safaris for their amazing organization
