EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE IN AFRICA
5/5

GILMAG is an extremely professional and dedicated local tour operator. From pre-trip inquiries to any issues during the journey, the staff in China were always responsive to our questions, providing professional advice to help us make perfect decisions for our itinerary.

We would like to thank our driver-guide Noel from GILMAG. He is an experienced, calm, intelligent and knowledgeable person. He took us to see the Big Five in Africa and could always accurately identify the best spots for taking great photos.

Noel is also a lucky charm—with him around, we always got to see many extraordinary sights. We thoroughly enjoyed his company throughout the trip and have made a promise to meet him again in the Serengeti next time.

Best Safari Ever
5/5

I was fortunate to work and live in Africa for 15 years. My job was with wildlife departments in southern and eastern Africa, and I try and go back often. Having been on many safaris, I can say my trip with Serengeti African Tours was the best.
- Communication was easy. I made many changes to the standard safari route, length, and accommodation suggested by the company, and they responded quickly.
- The safari price, compared to other companies, was quite reasonable, and the expertise and experience of SERENGETI African Tours was evident from their website, the level of communication, the understanding of what we wanted on safari, and skill on the safari itself.
- Our guide, Godfrey, was excellent. He was well versed in the wildlife and due to his experience was able to find sightings and opportunities that other guides miss. We were the only vehicle on site as we watched hippos come down to the river at dawn. We saw cheetah hunting and lions hunting, and watched the wildebeest in the Ndutu area as their calves were born and the migration moved westward. One of my friends on the trip is a birder, and Godfrey is expert at bird ID. And when we had a flat tire, he calmly got out, changed it, and we were back in the road in 10 minutes. Equally important, Godfrey understands the importance of keeping a distance from wildlife so they can hunt and live their lives without harassment. Other drivers with other companies were not as sensitive to this.

I will go back to Tanzania within the next couple of years, and I will book again with SERENGETI African Tours and, hopefully, Godfrey will be our guide

Halal Safaris exceeded every expectation from start to finish. Communication was prompt, clear, and professional, making the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The team was reliable and organized, and everything ran exactly as promised.

Every detail was handled with great care — from the lodging and delicious meals to the excursions and daily game drives. The accommodations were comfortable and well-selected, the food was excellent, and each excursion was thoughtfully planned to maximize our experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about wildlife, ensuring we had incredible up-close encounters while respecting nature.

Perfection
5/5

We had one of the nicest travel experience ever with Wild Uganda, Basically a dream came true seeing the Gorillas, the Golden monkeys, the boat safari, the walking safari, the car safari! A very important reason why our trip was incredible was also because of our guide, Innocent. Innocent is by far the best guide we’ve ever had on any trips we did. He has an incredible knowledge about wildlife, the cities, the culture and everything else related to his beloved country, Uganda. He surprised us with different activities that were not on the original planning, which made the experience even better! We asked him to go for a beer at a local bar in his hometown Kibale, and it really felt like he welcomed us to his home. We also went out in a nightclub in Uganda, it was amazing and you always feel super safe with Innocent. He is always making the efforts to provide an amazing experience that will just add more value to the whole package. No matter where you are in Uganda, innocent knows everyone!

We’ve been checking lots of different companies before booking with Wild Uganda, and one thing for sure we did the right choice !

We would really recomment booking with wild Uganda and asking to have Innocent as the guide!

Two tours a day, early morning and late afternoon into night tours. Thus avoiding the midday heat. it was dark when we returned to the compound so were looking for smaller animals via a spotter sitting in a chair at the very front of the vehicle with a spotlight. We spotted a rare owl one night hooting loudly. No light polution so the stars were plentiful and bright.
Also the tour operators supplied extra surpises, like one morning, a breakfast served in a field as the sun rises.
Another day there were drinks and snacks again served in a field as the sun set.
Also Ice creams were served one midday to cool us down. These were lovely unexpected touches.
We were allowed out of the vehicles for these treats and were able to stretch our legs.
We saw four of the big five animals, the leopard staying out of sight. Of coure plenty of other animal too.

Fabulous place especially if it is your first safari
It is a long day from 5.00 am to 3.30 pm and the dirt track roads were being paired because of extensive rain two weeks before we arrived. Some roads were closed.
The guides were very informative and took us different routes each day,
The vehicles were very clean and well maintained. We were not allowed out of the vehicles in the park.
During the two days we spotted 4 of the 5 main preditor animals. The leopard stayed hidden!
We came back to the main areas / gates for breakfast and lunch breaks which we bought from cafes and shops.
