Amazing safari with Alwin!
5/5

What can we say about our safari? It was amazing, astonishing and adventurous expericence with our guide Alwin.
We visited Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuro and Amboseli and we didn't expect so much wildlife. Alwin knows his way around the reserves and parks and he really enables close but respectful encounters with the animals. This was amazing! Alwin also knew every answer to the endless questions of my husband. We saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, elephants, hippos, different kinds of birds and antelopes and more. It was an unforgettable experience and we would highly recommend the safari with Alwin!!

Experienced tour operator
5/5

My recent trip to Ethiopia was nothing short of extraordinary. I had the opportunity to explore the Danakil Depression and the Omo Valley.
The Danakil Depression with its salt plains, Dallol with neon yellow and green sulfur fields, the area felt like a scene from Mars.
Hiking to Erta Ale was a highlight. Our guide and driver were knowledgeable and made us feel safe throughout the trip. Other members of the team made sure we have enough drinking water, food and mattress even in such remote conditions.
Omo Valley region is home to some of Africa’s ethnic tribes, where we visited the Mursi, Karo, and Dassanech peoples. Our local guide ensured that our visits were respectful.
This Ethiopia trip is one of the most unique travel experiences I’ve ever had. It’s not a luxury destination – but it is unforgettable and deeply enriching.
I would recommend it for any adventurous travelers. Mr Sun from Essence Ethiopia Tours had organised our trip very well from start to finish. Thumbs-up to Mr Sun 😊

Very responsive, accommodating and heartwarming.
5/5

We had to make last-minute travel plans to Kenya and contacted Stephen with only one week left before our expected arrival.
He responded extremely quickly, secured accommodation at the peak of the Great Migration (n.b., they were all clean and well maintained), and planned our trip so we could fit in all our preferences (i.e., visit Amboseli, Naivasha, and Maasai Mara and do the boat safari and balloon safari — btw, this is a must-do activity which I strongly recommend). He even pushed back when we tried to remove Nakuru from the itinerary and insisted we visit — we ended up going and had an amazing experience seeing active lions up close and even white rhinos from a distance!! We were also lucky enough to see a group of flamingos too.

All this was possible because of our incredible guide/driver Tom. He always made us feel safe and was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. He was flexible on our requests to visit the Giraffe Centre when we were in Nairobi and always made sure we were happy. Our biggest highlight was being able to see the river crossing of wildebeests at Maasai Mara. Tom managed to pick a spot where we got a front-row view from his experience (he used to be stationed at Maasai Mara and knew the place inside out).

We were extremely happy with the services provided and strongly recommend this operator! Happy gaming!!

A fanatic safari through Uganda and Tanzania
5/5

We loved our safari with Mega Wild. Anne was very responsive in our initial planning and with any questions we had along the way.
Both of our guides - Dalson in Uganda and David in Tanzania - were highly knowledgeable and helped to make sure we saw as many animals as possible.
Would highly recommend Mega Wild to anyone looking to book a safari.

A Amazing 8 day Safari trip with Charles
5/5

We would like to highly recommend Charles (and his trainee, Pumba) our safari guide, whose professionalism and warmth made our entire Tanzania experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, communication during the planning and booking process was smooth, clear, and responsive. Every question we had was answered promptly, and we felt confident and well-informed before even landing.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome that immediately made us feel at ease. Charles & Pumba's hospitality set the tone for the trip, and from the first moment, we knew we were in great hands.

Throughout the safari, the depth of their knowledge about wildlife, landscapes, and local culture was nothing short of remarkable. They shared fascinating insights, spotted animals we never would have seen on our own, and added rich detail to every part of the journey. His passion, respect for nature, and attention to our comfort made all the difference.

We can’t imagine a better guide, and we wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Excellent safari, well planned, had a great time
5/5

Our week long safari with David from Migration Venture Africa was great. We saw lots of animals across several different parks. The accommodation arranged for us was brilliant, all had comfy beds, food was delicious, the staff were all friendly and helpful.
David was a brilliant guide and driver, definitely has a lot of local knowledge which was invaluable throughout the week to navigate the inevitable bumps along the way, and giving us lots of information along the way. Even when there were issues with the vehicle he knew where to go to get it fixed and in our way very quickly. The environment and roads you tavel on are very demanding on the vehicles so its not uncommon for the occasional issue with the vehicles and having a knowledgeable driver/guide is so important, and David made sure our trip carried on and we could really enjoy ourselves. He even stopped to help out another driver (with passengers) who was stuck in a fairly remote area of the serengeti, which was really good of him (it only took a few minutes to get them going so was no imposition on us).
I would definitely recommend Migration Venture Africa, and David, for others looking for a fun safari with a top notch guide/driver.

Fantastic
5/5

Fantastic 4 day safari in Tsavo East/West and Saltlick with Morris.
All communication regarding booking and questions to Paul in advance was top-notch.
Morris was a very knowledgeable guide and safe driver.
We stayed at Voi Safarilodge, Ngulia Safarilodge and Salt Lick Safarilodge. At Voi you have a tunnel that allows you to get close to the animals that come to the waterhole. Ngulia has Leopard feeding and a waterhole right outside the hotel room. Salt Lick, where the rooms are on stilts, allows the animals to roam freely around the houses. Food and lodging good in all places. Salt Lick is a large lodge with a lot of people!
In Tsavo East we saw the most animals, the west has a different and exciting landscape. In Salt Lick, night safari is recommended. Fantastic to see animals in their usual surroundings. We caught 4 of the big 5.

Great driver who knows what he is doing
5/5

Our tour operator was Kennedy Nyongesa Wandera Katamboga, and he was great. He listened to our commands and repeated on the daily the sentence 'if you are happy, i am happy' and that is exactly what a tour operator is supposed to do, we saw everything we wanted and it was an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience, highly recommended, unforgettable experience
5/5

We took a private 7 day tour covering four national parks, including the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. From start to finish, the trip was absolutely incredible. Heavenlight was fantastic, she helped tailor our itinerary to match exactly what we wanted, and her communication throughout the planning process was excellent, making everything smooth and stress free.

Our guide, Meddy, was exceptional. He had a relaxed, flexible approach that allowed us to structure each day to our preferences. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, far more than I expected, and often from just a few meters away.

The accommodations exceeded all expectations, there was even a spa in the heart of the Serengeti. Truly unforgettable!
