Raveged by drought
Overall rating
4/5

I booked a Sabi Camp for my photography tour I was leading, as I had heard Sabi Sands was the best place in the Kruger area. I bet it is when not ravaged by drought. There was very little to eat for the grazing animals so many had left, the predators were doing well off animals dying from drought. Our camp was only permitted in a small portion of Sabi Sands and I'm guessing there were better areas in the reserve. Although we had some great sightings my photo tour guests and I, chose to spend extra time in Kruger where the Sabi River was still flowing. I will return to Sabi Sands and hopefully next time it will live up to it's great reputation.

I think the trip was well organised. We had nice game drives and we saw a lot of wild animals. We had a great driver who was really nice as well. It was a great experience

Really nice 4days 3 nights safari for an honest price
4/5

I enjoyed our safari with aaa express.
Our driver (Julius) was very helpful friendly, good driver and a great animal spotter.
We got a lot of information about the animals, people,culture,..

We choose to visit the Masai. This part was not that interesting.
I would certainly recommend aaa express. Although they could work on their communication.

Had a wonderful expierence
4/5

The first time I went on safari with Daniel's company was in May 2015. This year I came back to Tanzania and decided to go with Daniel again, because we've had a really good expierence. The drivers were really nice and they have a lot to say about the animals. The food was delicious, but way too much! We had soup, potatoes, vegetables, rice, salad... Richard is a really good cook.

If I come back to TZ I will not hestitate to go on safari with epicafricaadventures again.

Very knowledgeable guides/drivers. Professional
4/5

Grassrootz Adventures is good at listening to our wishes and able to translate these wishes into a realistic adventurous itinerary. They are very friendly and even during the tour flexible regarding our demands. They are able to offer activities which I did not find by other tour companies. We learned a lot about the country, the people and the animals. A life time experience.

An excellent and unique experience in Uganda.
4/5

The period prior to the actual trip was already pleasant. The (email) communication was personal and quick, we had enough room to express our wishes. The tour itself was wonderful. Our driver/guide George was a knowledgeable and very friendly man. We felt safe and learned a lot about this marvelous country and its inhabitants.

Murchison Falls has it all !!
4/5

I went on a 3 day trip with Grassrootz Adventures to Murchison Falls National Park (MFNP). Pick up was in Kampala. In the program was a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, Gamedrive in MFNP, Boattrip and hike to the falls and a Chimp trekking. What I liked about the program was the diversity. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise early in the morning before the gamedrive, trekking the forest to look for chimps and sit on top of the van to enjoy the beautiful nature of Murchison Falls National Park (and the driver driving with 60 km/h). Our guide/driver was very willing to tell as much as possible, about animals but also about some history of Uganda. So I can say that the total experience was very nice, absolutely I can recommend to go to MFNP with Grassrootz Adventures. Murchison Falls has it all !!

Beautiful Kiliminjaro overlooking a small but wildlife-rich National Park teeming with beasts.

My road research proved correct as there is only one road from Nairobi to Amboseli and that is the C103 off the A109 Mombasa Road. It was a smooth tarmac road offering fantastic views of the South Rift Valley. Amboseli itself is a compact park - easy to navigate and drive around - and it was the first of Kenya's game parks to actually offer me an illustrated map, which was really useful.

Barely through the gate and you see wildebeest and ostrich...then giraffe, impala and then a herd of elephants. I had a pass for 48 hours and the first day I drove one loop around the park concentrating on the animals - as Mount Kilimanjaro was typically shrouded in cloud for the day. There is usually only an hour at dawn and an hour at dusk when the peak is visible. True enough, the following morning it was clear at 6am but clouded over shortly after. On my third day of the trip, things were delightfully different. The peak stayed could-free until 8:30am which allowed me to re-enter the park and take some coveted photographs of wildlife and mountain in harmony. This was definitely the highlight of the trip. Other Kenya parks are flat but Amboseli serves up Mount Kilimanjaro which actually ticks many travellers' life-ling ambitions - mine included.

The accommodation, AA Lodge, was perfect - self-contained chalet / bandas are very private and quiet. It didn't matter to me that I was outside of the Park as my resident Park fee was valid for 48 hrs. The pool was essential; it was so dry and hot that the dip in the water was a necessity. There were very few guests and the food was plain but the service was faultless. Such friendly staff.

Prompt response, Great experience!!
4/5

Booking was so easy, plenty of communication before the safari with Peter helped to set expectations. I liked the ease of payment, picking up right from the Hotel and drop. I was expecting Peter to accompany me but the trainee staff Anthony was very sincere and efficient. He was patient and flexible, communicated well, and was always available for questions. The entire tour was very comfortable and awesome. I would thoroughly recommend anyone wanting to travel to Nairobi to book with Kibera Holidays.
