Extremely Helpful
They had excellent communication from start to finish. The tour was well guided and when we lost our luggage in the airport on the way over, they did everything they could to get it to us on time. Exceptional customer service and an amazing experience for the safari.
Big thanks to daudi for sorting everything for us and juma for driving us round for 3 days!

Wonderful safari: Saadani and Mikumi national parks
It was more than a trip. Matata and his son Sebastian made us discover unique moments thanks to their knowledge of the fauna and flora of their country. We shared unforgettable moments and exchanged conversations around good local dishes. A punctual team, attentive to their customers, we warmly recommend Safari Mojo Matata.

The Trip of a Lifetime!
We couldn’t have been happier with the incredible experience, hospitality and attention to detail that Jocky Tours provided. The comms, response rate and pre trip advice was quick and easy to understand and we went with the 7 day option of Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Hells Gate and Amboseli NP. We would strongly recommend this option as the variety across all 5 NP is amazing.
From the wildlife smorgasbord that is the Masai (we saw Cheetah, Lion, Leopard, Hyenas to name a few) to the otherworldly shores of Nakuru. To the boat trip on Naivasha and cycling surrounded by Giraffes in Hells Gate. Finally we saw a Cheetah hunt in Amboseli in the shadow of Mt Kilimanjaro. Unbeatable!
But on top of all of the above the thing that really sets Jocky Tours apart is the guides!
Our first guide John, who we had for for the first 5 days was an incredible at locating all the animals at the right time. He went above and beyond to help us see a Leopard in Masai, spending the day back and forth on the radio and doing everything in his power to get us that unforgettable experience (saw at least 30 of the big animals). On top of that he was very insightful and brought our group together, 10 out of 10!
Our second guide Alex, who we had for the last 2 days in Amboseli, was also incredible. His calm and kind demeanour lent a warming feeling to the end of our stay. We learnt so much from him about the animals and their behaviour, adding a personable touch. We’ll never forget his blessing of our engagement as we shared the news that I’d proposed to my partner (who said yes

Excellent experience
Excellent, from first email contact with Pendo to bring delivered back to Arusha airport, everything was perfectly organised. The star of the show, through our 7 days on safari, was our guide Mwita. Friendly, informative and diligent, with unbelievable eyesight and a genuine, deep understanding of and passion for the animals, people and places, he made sure that we had a truly unforgettable experience. If we were returning to the area (one day, we hope) we would not look anywhere else.

Highly recommend for Gorilla Trekking in Uganda
We (Louisa and Peter) did a Safari in Tanzania before and while our tour operator for Tanzania also offered us to plan the Gorilla trek, we felt more comfortable in picking a local tour operator in Uganda.
We studied reviews on here and shortlisted Bamboo Ecotours. The communication with Edison via E-mail to plan and book our 2-Night/3-Days Gorilla trek went absolutely smooth.
The planning process went transparent and also flexible in terms of adding on activities later on. We only decided on the actual day that we wanted to add the Coffee making experience and were able to do so. (Highly recommend for coffee lovers). We were considering to add another cultural experience on our last day (return to Kigali), but then felt a bit tired and opted only for the visit of the Genocide Museum. It was really great that we could be this flexible with other activities outside of the main event : The Gorilla trek
The gorilla trek is in the end organized by the local authorities - so has nothing to do with Bamboo ecotours. But also this was organized very well. We especially loved the local dance group that performed for us before the actual hike and really motivated us :)
In our case, it rained heavily after we had our one hour meet and greet with the Gorillas. Shout out to future trekkers : Please read the tips and instructions and try to pack accordingly: pack raingear, wear proper hiking shoes, wear long-sleeved shirts and also gloves come in really handy.
I didn't bring my gloves and I made it just fine, but it would have been better if I had brought them.
As back to Bamboo Ecotours: Our Guide was Fred, he is very kind, friendly and shared information about the local people/customs and also a bit about his own hometown/family. He also accommodated us very flexible with our requests on activities and was open to our suggestions.
We also felt that we paid a fair / competitive rate for our experience compared to other offers/quotes we have seen.
Maybe it would have been nice to see a few more different options for accommodations prior to booking, but in the end we were also happy with the one that we had (Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge). The lodges itself look like tree houses (without being actual tree houses), very dreamy and romantic. You feel like being in the middle of a rainforest. One of the perks is that the lodge offered to wash 4 pcs per person for free - that was very nice. The dinners were very good (no buffet, you ordered a few hours in advance from a small cart). Breakfast did not have a lot of choice, but it was fine. The packed lunches were small and not up to the standard that we were used from Tanzania.
After our Gorilla trek, the lodge provided the service to clean our shoes, that was very sweet and helpful.
Last but not least:
Big thanks for Edison and Fred for making this trip and experience special and completely carefree for us!

Excellent Safari & Kilimanjaro Travel Organisation
There are so many good things to say about Easy Tours.
1. We arranged everything through Helen. She was very well organised, nothing was too difficult, gave us lots of good advice, speaks excellent English and very friendly.
2. Gerald was our guide. We visited 4 national parks all different from each other - Lake Maniari, Ngorogoro, Serengeti. Tangariare. Gerald would often go to sites away from the other safari trucks. Saw 3 leopards, over 50 lions, cheetahs, hyena etc. English very good, knowledgable, friendly.
3. Kester took myself on 7 hour hike of Mt Kilimanjaro, walked 16km, from 1,750 to 2,800 above sea level. Spoke good English, took me to see the Colobus monkeys towards the lower crater. Very good guide.
I would recommend Easy Tours to everyone

Dixon was a kind fun and helpful, knows a lot about animals
I'm Ida and I'm ten. I really enjoyed lenchada Safaris and I think that we had the best guide for it - Dixon. The animals were super and it was good to learn about their habitat and how we can help it. All in all the experience was amazing.

This was a perfect Safari with outstanding organsiation and an extremly friendly, knowlegeable guide
We have discovered African Big Cats Safaris in the internet and were immediately impressed by their quick response behavior. The tour was organized to our schedule, but mainly we relied to the expertise of the tour operator - which was a good decision.
A last-minute change - our 18-years-old son arrived one day after us - was managed professionally against a moderated extra-fee. The managing director Immanuel personally picked up our son at Kilimanjaro airport and drove him to the lodge where we spent the 2nd night. This made us feel very good.
The tour itself was impressive and we would always recommend the same itinerary (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara) with Serengeti/Ngorongoro being the highlight. Our experienced driver Vanance was extremely friendly, customer-oriented (drinks had always the perfect temperature!) and answered really every question we asked – he has such a great knowledge about Tanzanian wildlife and culture. Vanance made us feel very comfortable from the first minute and it was a big pleasure to spend the 5 days with him.
Accommodation was exactly how you expect this from a safari – charming, rustic, clean, very good food, very friendly people around. The car (Landcruiser) was in very good shape and cleaned every evening.
Wildlife is amazing and we even saw the big five – here the professionality of our driver Vanance paid off combined with a little luck!
Managing director Immanuel showed up at the airport before departure to get direct feedback – another good and professional move.
A safari isn’t a cheap event, but we have the impression that we received good value for the money we paid.
We definitely recommend a safari with African Big Cats!
