My July trip 2015
I have been on safari many times, but this has been my best safari vacation ever.
Since I am particularly interested in elephants and lions, However, for a "first timer" the Serengeti National park is beautiful and the landscape is absolutely stunning
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
If anybody indicates lions and elephants as their main interest. then advice them to go to Serengeti and Ngorongoro However, I understand that my own concerns about off-road driving have influenced the decision to go to both Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.. Cheers to Northern Masailand Safaris

Flexible and reliable
As tanzania travellers having a few extra days to spend, we ran into Kevin of Zuri tours and safaris in Moshi. Kevin was able to arrange a day trip to the Kikuletwa hot springs near Moshi, then bring us to Arusha and even all the way to Dar es Salaam a few days later. Kevin is knowledgeable, resourceful and funny, and always checking if you're ok. He speaks perfect english, something you don't encounter at every local safari company. He knows how to make sure you enjoy, and even arranges local people to guide, while translating the swahili to english for you, so you really get to know a lot more about a place. Also, his company has very reasonable prices, just make sure to get a clear quote per person or for the whole group. Kevin will make sure there won't be any extra, hidden costs (which you absolutely don't always find around these parts). Would definitely make use of Kevin's services again.

Wonderful experience
We booked the trip by email in front, and we were not disappointed. We did kilimanjaro climbing, machame route. Frank was very helpful planning our trip, also picked us up at the airport and suggested hotel to stay in moshi and arusha. We had a perfect guide, Richard. Also the cook and porters were OK. Only thing is that there was an issue between the company and the crew, and we were in between, that was not so nice. I would recommend this company!

Review about Addo Elephant National Park by David Verbossche
There is a lot of open space which is ideal for elephant spotting. You will see a lot of elephant! Other game is harder to spot. It is also a very busy park.

Intimate experience
Tembe is a small park in Kwa-zulu Natal not many people have heard about. The park is managed and run by members of the local community. The nice thing about the park is that one can choose to be driven by a local guide or self-drive it with your own 4x4. Having done both we recommend starting with a drive from one of the local guides to get an idea of the park and then if you're up for some adventure to do it yourself. A 4x4 is a must though.
We have had some of the most amazing sightings there, male lions fighting over territory, lion and elephant confrontations, amazing birdlife. One can also sit at a number of waterholes and just wait for the animals to come to you. The scenery is the quintessential South African bush experience, it is thick in the summer months and more traversable during the winter months which increase the chances of spotting wildlife.
The tents are very comfortable and give you the feeling of camping in the wild while enjoying luxury. The staff are very friendly, something that I particularly enjoy is at dinner time the flags of the guests nationalities are placed on the tables to show who is staying and the menu is read by the "menu-teller". Something a very experienced person does this and other times something who is a first timer.

Review about Linyanti Concession by Oli.Anderson
A surprising destination given transfers are undertaken through barren bushland (in dry season) - before you wind up beside the river where the scenery is superb. Relatively good wildlife spotting but not as good as that in some of Botswana's other parks, since the Salute Channel began flowing again. It looks as though the channel may dry up again, in which case guides in the area predict the wildlife viewing will be as outstanding as it once was.

A very professional yet caring service provider
I must confess that it was very pleasant dealing with Simon from the onset. Simon ensured that he was constantly in touch with us during all stages from initiation/ planning to the culmination of the trip. All concerns/ suggestions were promptly taken care. Accommodation at Amboseli and Masai Mara were excellent; Nakuru accommodation was satisfactory.
However, there remained few concerns which surfaced because of Naivasha accommodation and also a 2 hours waiting period before start of Masai Mara trip as plan to induct another group was not properly planned. After raising these issues to Simon, he apologized immediately and took sincere care that any more problem is not encountered and remaining trip remains spot-less. Based on the feedback, he ensured that Naivasha accommodation was not repeated for any more tourist.
In all, I can say that he was a very professional and caring host and I will surely recommend him to all my friends.

Walking Amongst The Wildlife
There were 4 of us friends & 1 guide…Andy. He was the most amazing guide…considerate, Knowledgeable, patient. We were walking for 7 days; the camp moved every 2 days along the Zambezi River. The meals were Fabulous, cooked by Janet on an open fire. This was most incredible experience, walking in the flood plain, meeting NO ONE, very often surrounded by animals 360'.
Keep in mind these are tents, kerosene lamps & it is dark at 6 pm; showers are a bucket hanging over your head. But all this is part of the amazing experience. Walking is much more exciting than riding in a jeep.
Negative…the web site says luxury Camp Zambezi at the start…well there is no Camp Zambezi….that refers to an 'area'; so we expected 1 day at the front & 3 at the end to be luxury static camp, stationary …not so. We had 7 nights in the tents, 3 too many.! Feel the website is misleading. Switching to LED lights would be easy... less stinky & dangerous.
