Great, with the ride guide!
I went on this trip as a solo traveler, which was a great choice for me because everything was pre-planned. I had a generally fantastic time and saw some amazing sights and animals! Overall, I am very happy with my experience!
My only feedback, and why I'm not giving 5-stars, is because my guide was knowledgeable, but hard to understand and communicate with. He sometimes seemed a bit harsh in his tone and when it's just the two of us for 7-days, it would have been nice to have a more personable host. Also, there were times when he didn't know what was scheduled and this led to uncomfortable situations; for example, I had booked a walking tour at Lake Naivasha and the guide didn't know about this, until he was putting me on the boat. This lack of knowledge led to me taking the walking tour in flip flops instead of close-toed shoes (I still have scratches on my feet) and I was carrying a heavy bag. Additionally, the vehicle was not what I expected; very old and uncomfortable.

Uncomplicated and Competent
Even before the Safari started the communication was perfect, and they were very flexible with changing up our safari. It really made me feel like they wanted the best experience for us. The Safari was amazing, and our Guide was friendly and knew a lot about the wildlife and also the people and culture of Tanzania. We saw tons of beautiful wildlife and our guide was excellent at spotting animals, while also navigating through the muddy roads. In the four days we spent on safari, everything was taken care of and we spent our nights in very nice accommodations. I would highly recommend this tour operator.

Faultless planning, advice, guidance and support from start to end, best holiday ever.
One holiday that's best left to the experts for advice planning and guidance especially coming from a country so far away. (Australia) We travelled as family, Wife and 17 year old daughter.
Our travel agent was absolutely wonderful and was only a phone call or message away to answer questions or provide any support or advice that was required.
The service and accommodations were faultless with impeccable service standards from all staff involved, amazing culture and culinary experiences which will be remembered forever and of course will have us returning in the near future. While initially our thoughts on pricing was slightly high, we soon came to realize that considering the amazing locations and remoteness, the high first class standard, the experiences we encountered, it is absolutely worth every penny and would not think twice about returning for more.
Discover Africa is the way to go.

Responsive and helpful
Overall, a really great experience. I chose this company because I read strong reviews about Bildad - the tour coordinator- and his quick responses and ease at answering questions- especially before we left
We did the 10 day tour split between Kenya and Tanzania and I felt like we had a good value for what we received. You spend a lot of quality time in each park and it didn’t feel too rushed. In Masai Mara you have 1 evening and 1 full day drive and stay in an ecolodge with a private bathroom ( and hot shower). The drive to Lake Nakura is long and that park is the smallest but it’s all the best chance to see the rhinos- so worth it overall. I’m Amboseli we saw the top of Kili both days and so many elephants ( herds of 20 plus at a time). The ecolodge one Amboseli is also nicer than we anticipated and the food here was one of our favorites.
The tour also supported us with the border crossing to Tanzania and it was much smoother then I thought. A driver met us at the border and escorted us through the visa steps which was appreciated. I’m Tanzania we stayed at 2 tented campsites with basic amenities ( the one in Ngorongoro has a really nice view). When we were camping the last 2 days you also get a “private chef” who prepared really nice hot breakfast , lunch and dinners- this part definitely had the best food ( thank you Gerard). We are vegetarian and were accommodated consistently at each site- though some obviously much more graciously then others
( butter sandwiches vs veggie curry with chapati and fresh fruit)
In the Serengeti we had a half day and a full day drive. The sheer number of wildebeest and zebra is really amazing. We also saw several large prides of lions ( 18!). Lastly, Ngorongoro crater exceeded my expectations. The landscape is very different from the other parks with lush green trees and the surrounding crater walls- really beautiful! It was a strong ending to our trip.
We had 1 guide driver for the Kenya side and then another for the Tanzania- both were very kind and personable though one was much more informative so it was nice to experience the variety. It’s also important to note it’s a joint safari which means you are merged with people who book the same itinerary from other companies so the group size constantly fluctuates at each stop but for us never exceeded 6 people.
Very happy with our experience and think the programing allows you to see a lot of beautiful places. Check your expectations that every day is a lot of driving ( 8 plus hours), early morning wake ups and bumpy roads and you will have a great time.

Adventurous,reliable,accommodative, friendly,fun
It was our first safari tour and we had the time of our lives! The process of planning and arranging the details was very straightforward with Daniel being always available to answer our questions. From the moment we were greated at the airport by Daniel,Lukas and our guide Timothy we felt welcomed and well cared for. Tim was very knowledgeble, funny and friendly. His knowledge and stories about the wildlife of the savanna made the londhours drives funny and most enjoyable. Tim was very flexible and went above and beyond to meat our needs during the trip. He was excellend driver, very relyable. There were periods of rain and flooding on the roads during our trip and few other chalenges but we didn't miss a bit of our plan and we thank Tim for that. The accommodations were the closest possible to the wilderness which we found very exciting. From Sentrim lodge in Amboseli we were lucky to see the snows of Kilimanjaro before the sunrise- one of my dreams came true! Every night we listened to the voices of the savanna and early morning we were greated by the symphony of the birds songs- absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and there were many varieies and options.
The wildlife and vegetation in savanna was like another world experience. We saw tons of animals and birds, we saw 4 of the Big 5. We only couldn't see any leopards but we took it as a sign that we have to come back another time

Just super professional tour operator.
I can recommend epic Uganda, because everything is like they offer. No surprises and the price against quality is super. We felt us immediately home with our driver Emma who is very friendly and helpful. It was a tof experience to see the golden monkeys and gorilla's. Luxe lodges were we slept. Also the visit to the village, we won't forget. Thanks for this experience...

Pushing for customer satisfaction
Leonard was able to tailor us a 2-day safari with transportation from Dar and back. He even helped us get our delayed luggage which was superb service from him.
Camp Bastion was a nice and safe place to stay. Eventhough there wasn't AC in the room, we slept well because there was a fan in the roof, the temp in general is cooler than in Dar and of course nights are cooler. Room and washroom was very clean and sheets were changed daily. Wi-Fi is available only in the restaurant area and speed is enough for messaging. I wasn't able to send any videos, but that's not a big deal.
We had our first Lion contact already before the actual Safari. Just 10min after crossing into the Mikumi NP area we saw 8 lions on the side of the road and stopped to take some photos. In the Safari we saw everything we wished for except a Leopard. That's a reason to come back!
Our other option was to fly for the Safari from Zanzibar but I'm glad we didn't because we weren't in a rush at any point. If we wanted, we could watch e.g. baby elephants play around and on the second day we stayed until sunset.
If you are wondering what camera gear to bring, I had two DSLR bodies, one with 300mm f4 prime with FX-body and other with 85mm f1.8 prime on a DX-body. Maybe a 24-70mm would have been more useful, but I shot 90% of the photos with 300mm anyway. My wife used 70-300mm which also worked nicely. With longer reach heat might become an issue.
