This was my second safari in Akagera nations park with Lion Safaris and will continue to use them in the future (I live in Rwanda, so great to have a company to recommend when friends and family visit). Lion safaris are reliable, punctual and well-organised and good value for money. I highly recommend them.

Really good guidance through out the entire time
The tour is a must! Definitely one of the highlights of Johanesburg. Our guide, Prince, was really nice, polite and knowledgeable.

1. Excellent sales Erick. He is the most professional and patient among all the operators we contacted. Always respond quickly and politely.
2. Excellent guide Champion. He has much knowledge of animals and is willing to help us catch a nearer photo of the animals. Also he is patient about finding them, we go back to lodges until sun goes down.

Wonderful honey moon safari experience
We have a really good time with Serengeti Smile. We especially appreciate our sales Erick and our guide Champion. For the initial communications, Erick is really responsive and professional. He answers all of our questions with good knowledge. For the Safari itself, we can see that Champion gone the extra mile for us to see more species and get closer. He is also professional with the animals and can share with us many interesting animal habits. Although there’s some unexpected situations with the hotel, Serengeti Smile helped us dedicatedly with that issue. We overall had a really good time.

Professional and Rewarding!
I took a day trip to Akagera in October 2022 and was very pleased with the professionalism shown by Emile from Lion Safaris. He was well versed with the context of the geography as well as the park. Through a combination of luck and Emile's experience, we were able to see all the big-5 in a single day, including the rare rhinos and a herd of 80 elephants. While this isn't a template to abide by, Emile's efforts in making sure we made the most of our day were crucial in making it a memorable experience for me and my family.
