Incredible experience to see the Gorillas with Trots & Safari Uganda!
5/5

Had a great experience with Trots & Safari Uganda! Organised my trip independently by contacting the company via WhatsApp and managed to book my trip after clarifying a few options with them. I got picked up in Kigali the day before by Jimmy and arrived in Uganda within a few hours. Early the next day we drove to the Bwindi National Park and I got to do the Gorilla trek which was amazing! Big thanks to Jimmy for his outstanding guidance, knowledge sharing and great driving skills as well! Highly recommend Trots & Safari Uganda!

Well planed and well executed.

Kwezi Safari Dec 2023/Jan 2024. Highly recommended.
When we decided to go on safari we contacted several safari companies and supplied information about what we wanted. Other companies, including “custom safari operators “ sent us back what appeared to be canned trips.
Only Mr. Kimiri, from Kwezi came back with some comments and suggestions to make the trip flow better. Even after we had committed he came back with suggestions that helped us avoid problems at lodges and put us in places better for our game drives. We had several email discussions to refine the trip. My family wanted to make some donations and he even took personal time to pick up and deliver items for a local orphanage.

As for the safari we couldn’t have asked for more. Though no safari company can guarantee what you get to see. We saw everything we wanted to see and more. We were lucky to see a lion hunt of a Cape buffalo and even a recent kill of a gazelle by a cheetah with her two cubs. They sat no more than 15 feet from our Land Cruiser eating and resting. We even saw some very rare animals such as a Serval Cubs and a genet. When we stopped for lunch one day the guide immediately spotted a boa in a tree near our vehicle. We visited both Kenya and Tanzania, so it required two different guides Jimmy and John, plus at our request Mr. Kimiri.
(Hint- the guides they arranged for us were experienced and seemed to know everyone) if something was happening they knew it quickly and maneuvered us to great viewing locations & when we found an animal they notified others. We talked with other people on safari when at our lodging and they didn’t see nearly as much as we did.

We saw many birds and only once did the guide have to check his book to verify a species. Often our guide would stop in place we saw nothing and point out animals. Spotting small animals is a gift.
Last but not least, our guides didn’t just answer our questions, they offered us information about the animals we saw, about habitat, about birds, about trees, about the Masai people and their customs.
I don’t believe we could have had a better experience even if we had paid more. Thank you Kwezi Safari.

An amazing holiday- well organized /good hotels or bushcamps / great safari with our top guide Salim
5/5

After searching on the internet Tanzania Specialist popped up as first. They have a very good and clear website. After contacting the Tanzania Specials, I received a prompt reply and the communication was very quick. After we agreed on the route, the day arrived that we landed at Arusha airport, Salim was waiting for us. Salim is a great guide. He showed us the beauty of Tanzania with all its beautiful animals with a lot of information about the country/history/area and know the behaviour of the animals very well and not to mention the way in all the parcs.
Everything was arranged perfectly. The hotels and bushcamps , the food and the lunchboxes was of good quality. Although this safari cost a lot of money, it is worth it. It was a great experience. Thank you Tanzania Specials and Salim !!

Extremely professional
5/5

We've started planning our journey to Uganda almost one month before departure, and have to say we've been more then lucky in encounter Tubale Safaris! Annette was very helpful and always available in solve out out doubt! She helped us in organizing, in such a short time, an incredible adventure!

We landed in Uganda on the 27 of December and at Entebbe Airport we've found our guide Shafic!
Shafic is a terrific guide! Extremely professional, very friendly, with great knowledge and always ready to help and assist us!

Our 6 days journey went through more or less 2000km all around west Uganda. We've visited Ziwa Conservation Area where with Ranger we had the chance to see rhino; then we reach Murchison Falls National Park where we have the opportunities to see Lions, Leopard, Elephant, Giraffe, and a Iena Just to mention some! During a short cruise on the White Nile we've spotted Hyppo and Crocodile! Of course before moving forward we get close to the amazing Murchison Falls. Then we've move forward to Kibale Park where we've seen Chimpanzee. After crossing the Queen Elizabeth National Park we've reached the Bwindi impenetrable forest, there's no words to describe this experience, the whole experience is breathtaking!

Besides the stops...the car was appropriate and comfortable considering the game drive and the kilometers we've done; the lodge nice and clean!

Thanks a lot to Annette and Shafic! They made our stay and trip in Uganda unforgettable!!

Lucas was easygoing, fun, and above all profoundly skilled as a guide and naturalist.
5/5

Lucas Tshupo has made it his craft to share the wonders of the Okavango with his guests. He is very, very good at it. He has spent his life around the Okavango delta, and it shows. He seems to have an instinctual sixth sense regarding wildlife behavior. As we spent more time with him in the bush, it became clear that this is the well-earned reward of a lifetime of paying sharp attention to the patterns & rhythms of Botswana wildlife.

One late afternoon in Khwai Conservancy, we saw a young adult leopard that Lucas seemed to think was traveling with her mother. In a low whisper, he quickly explained several details about her behavior and stature (details which were barely visible to us) while the few other trucks that had been following this individual left the area. After a few minutes, Lucas was proven right: In the setting sun’s golden light, we watched a mother leopard appear, greet her adolescent daughter with casual enthusiasm, and wander off as a pair into the bush.

Throughout the safari, Lucas fluently and engagingly shared his comprehensive knowledge of local ecology with us. He knew every bird, tree, and insect we came across, and we felt that we were receiving a world-class education from a truly gifted teacher on the intricacies of the Botswana savanna. Many of our most treasured memories in the Delta could only have been found with his expertise – experiences ranging from captivatingly intimate to truly awesome.

Lucas is also uncannily sensitive to the needs of his guests. He was effortlessly perceptive of the energy levels of every individual in the group, seamlessly making adjustments to accommodate everyone. He knew how to make everyone feel comfortable and safe, even in austere environments. By the end of our trip, Lucas had made everyone in our group feel like family. We felt almost as if we belonged there, that the awe-inspiring natural splendor of Africa was a home away from home. When we return, we know who to call.

Golden Monkey Trekking
5/5

A day trip to Volcanoes NP from Kigali is a day that starts bright and early. At 4:30 AM my driver was waiting for me at the hotel reception and after an enjoyable 2-hour drive we arrived at the Briefing Point of Volcanoes NP, where we were treated to some free coffee before we were divided into groups of 20-25. From there on we drove to the starting point of the hike. The hike itself wasn't too long and definitely isn't a difficult one. People who need some help can get a walking stick and also hire a porter to carry their backpack. After 25-30 minutes of walking through the countryside, where our guide paused from time to time to provide us some information, we arrived at the bamboo forest. Before we got to the golden monkeys we were told to wear a face mask, which makes sense since we share so much DNA with these monkeys and disease are easy transmittable. We then got 1 hour with the monkeys and that hour flew by. The monkeys are everywhere around you and the guides give you the opportunity to walk around to admire and enjoy the monkeys. They sure look cute. The only thing they ask you is that you don't stand under a branch with a monkey on it (to avoid getting peed on). I truly enjoyed my time with these monkeys, especially the plenty of young monkeys that play and climb everywhere. After more or less an hour with them we took off our masks and walked back to the starting point where my driver was waiting for me. Also important to know is that you are already back in Kigali in the early afternoon (2-3 PM). Thanks Hermosa Life Tours and Travel for providing me this opportunity to get in touch with these amazing animals I didn't know even existed a few months ago.

Dont miss seeing Uganda
5/5

My only regret is that I didnt spend more time in Uganda. I was taken care of the moment I was picked up at Entebbe Airport to when I was dropped off. It was an amazing trip where I got to meet the people and soul of Uganda. Everyone was so kind and friendly. My driver Samuel, became a friend, not just a driver with great conversations about Uganda, Africa and Life. Trekking into see the gorillas was an awesome, inspiring experience, not soon forgotten. I joined 5 others and we met at the ranger station. While waiting we were treated to songs and sance from the local community. The guides and rangers were educated, very friendly and very helpful in supporting this 59 year old guy on the trek to see the gorillas. I did the community walk to meet the locals which included meeting the Batwa pigmy tribe that untill recently was living a VERY primitive life in the jungle. You will be in great hands if you choose Kubwa 5 Safari for all your travel needs in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. These guys are the BEST !!!!

First class company with great service and wonderful guides.
5/5

We had great 3 days of safari at the Masai Mara Reservation in Kenya.
The vehicle was superb and very comfortable. Our tour guide was a wonderful guide, a great person and excellent driver.
He always made sure that we and our grandkids were doing fine. His depth of knowledge about all the animals, birds, nature, and culture enhanced our safari experience. We highly recommend Sunworld Safaris, their service, guides and value for the tour.
