Andrew and Ronnie ensured our entire experience was perfect from start to end!
Can't say enough great things about our experience with Beyond the Plains safari. Andrew was our first contact and ensured that we were properly set up for the trip and took care of all the details. Never once had a lapse in communication or anything. Our guide and friend for the actual tour was Ronnie. We had low expectations not of our guide but of what we'd see considering we're coming in the off season. Ronnie was prompt to pick us up every day. He made sure that we had plenty of rest stop breaks throughout the days we were with him. He took care of all admission tickets. He absolutely hustled to make sure that not only did we see the big 5 but also lions feeding, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs (with Cubs) . Things that are rare to see in Masai Mara. But if he heard there was any great thing we could see, even if he was tired, he made it happen. He went above and beyond by so much it's hard to fully express it in a review. Without him, the trip wouldn't have been complete. He was attentive, friendly, and genuine. I hope everyone is lucky enough to have a safari guide like him. All in all, such an amazing trip and company to work with. Hands down best back for your buck.

It is a small business owned by very kind people, who give you a very personal experience.
The booking process was super smooth. The communication was fast, and efficient. The tour itself was very special and exceeded our expectations. It was a personal and amazing experience. Miranda and Roko are both very kind and friendly and are there for you to give you a great experience. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a personal experience, supporting small businesses. We did a walking safari, visiting different places, camping at extraordinary spots. If you love camping, you should definitely book this!! Food was great, camping gear perfect and walking amazing.

From the get-go, Regina was absolutely wonderful when it came to communicating, putting together a great program, adjusting details and tailoring my trip. Super responsive and trustworthy. I am a solo female traveler and I have to say Pamoja made me feel welcome all the way from booking to being in Uganda.
My guide and driver Hamindu is just a wonderful person. Felt at ease and welcomed from day one and we had the best trip ever, saw tons of places and animals and through it all Hamindu was truly a terrific and professional person to have around. Felt very safe and enjoyed every second.
Don’t hesitate. Go for it. Uganda 🇺🇬 is a fantastic place to visit and Pamoja is the ideal way to support a local and conscious small business that gives back to community as well. An all around winner 🏆

Our guide and driver, Celab, was very dedicated, introducing us to the various animals and sharing stories about the interactions between people and animals within the park. We also made many new friends on this trip, and I highly recommend Jockey Tours.

We had an incredible 4-day safari. Absolutely memorable!
A special shoutout to Yasin, our guide who truly became a friend. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. We were lucky enough to spot the Big Five, enjoyed a lovely picnic, and even did some off-roading along the way, which made it extra memorable.
All the accommodations exceeded our expectations!!
The only downside was the payment process. We were informed of an amount and confirmed twice that payment in euros would be accepted, but an additional conversion fee was charged without prior notice.
That said, Yasin’s care and effort made us quickly forget that hiccup. 😁

Goodluck was very friendly and knowledgeable, he showed us many animals.

Amazing experience
Despite a last-minute booking, John's responsiveness was outstanding. Everything was superbly managed. Our driver, Tchado, is a true professional and enabled us to see the Big Five on our very first outing. We even got to witness some hunting scenes up close... I highly recommend him.
