An Unforgettable Safari Adventure with Surprise Adventure
Our recent safari organized by Surprise adventure was nothing short of spectacular, creating memories that will last a lifetime. From the initial planning stages to the final drop-off, every detail was handled with professionalism, expertise, and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional experience.
The pre-safari communication was excellent. Surprise Adventure's Amina was incredibly responsive, patient, and knowledgeable, helping us tailor an itinerary that perfectly matched our interests. They provided valuable insights into the best times to visit, recommended fantastic lodges, and ensured all our questions were answered promptly.
Once on safari, their execution was flawless. Our guide, Shedrack was a true gem. Their encyclopedic knowledge of the wildlife, local flora, and the ecosystem was astounding. They had an uncanny ability to spot even the most elusive animals, ensuring we had incredible sightings of the "Big Five" and so much more. Beyond their expertise, our guide's enthusiasm, Kindness to our special needs daughter and commitment to our comfort made every game drive an absolute joy.
The accommodations selected by Surprise Adventure were superb – comfortable, well-located, and offering breathtaking views. The logistics, including transfers and internal flights, were seamless, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the safari experience without any worries.
What truly set Surprise Adventure apart was their dedication to providing an authentic and responsible safari. We felt a deep respect for the wildlife and local communities throughout our journey.
If you're dreaming of an African safari, look no further than Surprise Adventure. They are truly experts in their field and will craft an adventure that you will cherish forever. Highly, highly recommended!

Amazing Place, terrible experience
My friend and I were very excited for this trip (Massai Mara 2 days). However, a series of events almost turned this trip into a nightmare. First, the driver (Edwin) arrived 40min late saying he had a problem with the car. The car was terrible; by far, the oldest car I have seen during the journey. As the car was very old, all the trip was very 'shaky'. On the way to Massai Mara, we had a flat tire and had to stop for change. More 30-40min wasted. Then, we had to stop to had the flat tire fixed before going to the park. Inside the park, the car broke and we were stuck there for FOUR HOURS. Four hours inside the park, and the driver and company gave no alternative option but to wait. This was very frustrating, as we were waiting for months for this trip. We understand that cars can break, but if the car was not soooo old, the odds of this event would be lower. Also, again, the company had no backup plan for this. To top it ofF, the driver was not so nice. At certain point he said that the elephants undesrstood his situation better than us. Needless to say what he meant... The following day the driver was very rude, did not enter the park and continue the trip as if we were wrong, not the company. We asked him if he could drop us at the airport - which would be nice after allll we have passed. He said no, that he could not change the itinerary. In conclusion: I do not recommend this company. We lost almost 5 hours of our time during the trip and we had no compensation

A Truly Magical Safari Experience – Thank You, Twinkle Star Tours !
We had the most incredible 9-day safari through Kenya and Tanzania with Twinkle Star Tours and Safaris Ltd, and we can’t thank them enough for making it such a perfect trip.
From the very beginning, James, the manager, was kind, professional, and thoughtful. He worked with us to customize our itinerary and made sure everything was taken care of. We felt supported every step of the way.
Our Kenyan guide, Daniel Mwanzia, was a true gem. He was so friendly, fun to be around, and knew exactly how to help us spot wildlife. In the Masai Mara, thanks to Daniel’s expertise, we saw lions, elephants, cheetahs. Truly an unforgettable moment!
In Tanzania, Roger continued the magic. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. With his guidance, we also saw the Big Five and so many more amazing animals up close.
The lodges and tented camps were beautiful and comfortable — especially Acacia Seronera and Kibo Safari Camp. Every detail of the trip, from accommodations to meals to transportation, was smooth and well-organized.
We felt so well cared for throughout the entire journey. The whole team went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. This wasn’t just a vacation - it was an experience that touched our hearts.
We will always remember this trip and the wonderful people who made it possible. If you're planning a safari, Twinkle Star Tours is the team you want by your side !

Overall a great experience
James our driver and guide was great, he was a great driver and guide, constantly pointing out wildlife on our game drives and regaling us with facts and information. He was also an extremely safe driver, which is even more impressive given the state of some of the “roads” he had to navigate. The only reason I haven’t marked this as 5 star is that he was asked to pick up an additional person to take them to Lake Nakuru and consequently our whole group had to leave Lake Nakuru earlier than expected as the person needed to get to the airport early. It was not James fault but did mean we had less time there. James made up for it by altering the itinerary so we did the boat trip in the evening instead of the following day but you could tell he felt guilty about what had happened. Other than that the experience was great. Yes the hotels were basic but they met our needs and the other people on the trip were nice. Everyone we met was very welcoming and I would recommend the trip to others.

A once-in-a-lifetime wildlife and cultural experience
The perfect blend of safari and cultural experiences, this tour was unforgettable. From visiting with various tribes and learning about their daily lives to up close and personal views of wildlife, every day was a new and amazing adventure. The tour operator and the drivers were very knowledgeable and both able and willing to answer all sorts of questions about what we were experiencing, including helping me work on my Swahili. Dinner/breakfast and the accommodations were all top-notch - even the "tent" facilities were more 'glamping' than 'camping' with full private bathroom/shower facilities - but still let us get close to the wildlife (when we arrived at our first tent there was a herd of elephants not 10 feet from our tent!). When something seemed off or concerning (there was a controlled burn going on and some members of our group were a little worried), our tour operator was able to explain things and reassure us. And any small problems or hiccups that occurred were quickly resolved with no fuss or issues - hakuna matata. We were traveling as a very large group which could easily have presented challenges to a tour operator, but from start to finish, everyone in our group felt like they got to see/experience what they wanted to and were cared for as individuals. I would happily recommend Tanzania Safari Collection to anyone looking for a truly special experience in a beautiful country. My only challenge is now sorting through the thousands of pictures we took and dreaming of going back again in the future.

Honeymooning with the Gorillas and Golden Monkeys!
We had a spectacular Honeymoon trip with Frena Adventures seeing the gorillas chill in Bwindi Forest, seeing the wonderful culture of Rwanda and Uganda, and watching the Golden Monkeys jump around in Volcanoes National Park. It was a surreal experience hiking for 2 hours to interact and take photos of the stunning gorillas - just inches away from us. Our guide, Issa, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind during our entire 3-day drive. We enjoyed our delicious home-made meals, talking about life in Rwanda/Uganda, and driving around seeing the different cultures. You can tell Issa takes pride in what he does and loves his country and the animals. We would recommend Frena Adventures if you are looking for adventure in Rwanda and Uganda. My wife and I had a trip of a lifetime!
Note for future travelers: Roads are VERY bumpy. If you tend to get car sick, bring anti-nausea medication. You do need to wear a surgical mask to see the gorillas and monkeys, so make sure you pack some. The Volcanoes National Park only takes Visa card the day of the hike. Although we did pay the tour upfront for our passes, we did have to pay again when we got there (thank goodness we had our Visa with us). But Issa reimbursed us right when we met back with him after the hike was over. There is a cultural experience in your itinerary – we would recommend bringing plenty of tip money if you do proceed with that part of the trip. Lastly, it would be helpful for Frena to ensure the guides know exact location of lodges/hotels to prevent them getting lost.
We can’t wait to travel with Frena Tours in the future!
Lodges we stayed in: Four Gorillas Lodge, Five Volcanos Boutique Hotel. We highly recommend these lodges booked by Frena Tours. They were wonderful

Friendly and helpful
Our tour guide Peter Nding’ai is good. He brought us to see a lot of animals. His explanation about the wildlife is very details and interesting.
He is fun and friendly!
The only difficult thing for us was the bike riding at the Hell’s Gate. Too many vehicles and too dusty.
