TWO YEARS WAITING FOR OUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our history is summed up in that they do not give us back 2000 dollars. Our experience is being HORRIBLE.
We booked the safari in 2020 and they told us to pay all the amount, we did it (we shouldnt have done it, but now its too late). We couldnt go because of the Covid, so we ask for our money.
I have written them lots and lots of emails and whatsapps in this TWO YEARS and their answer is always the same: soon we will pay you the money. AND IT NEVER HAPPENS.
They give us excuses all the time, like: I've lost my cell phone, I've been away, we have few reservations... It's absolutely exasperating. We have been waiting for 2 years for the refund. We did not even demand 100% of the money, because they told us that 40% is used to reserve, so they would return 60% to us.
If you can, book the safari with another company, because this company is anything but serious.

Bartho (the owner) was recommended to us by a friend and since he was so helpful with our questions we chose him and his company among the vast amount of tour operators in Arusha. Oh boy we didn’t regret it.
Everything from the start until the too soon ending was amazing. The team we met was just the best.
Bartho helped us with everything the whole time, our driver Noel spotted like a champ and Dula (probably spelled him wrong, sry) our cook seemed to be some kind of magician. The entire team is just incredibly helpful and is striving to make your experience as perfect as it can be.
Apart from the great team our safari was amazing. The jeep was in a very good condition and i’d say quite comfy - what kinda suprised us. We even got pillows :) Thanks to Noel we saw the Big 5 and loads of other amazing animals and nature. He stopped and waited whenever we wanted to take pictures for as long as it took to get the best shots. The team even helped us out after the safari ended when we had problems with our flight.
Another big difference to other operators was the food. What Dula managed to cook 3 times a day with basic eqiupment is undescribable. We got 3 course meals every day which were always an absolute delight. On top of it water, soft drinks, beer and wine. We could see what others had for food/drinks and let me tell you it looked pathetic to what we had.
We had a blast with our safari and the team, so get in touch with them and enjoy an amazing experience!

They are excellent at providing the best safari experience
I am a solo traveller who went to Kenya with this safari tour.They are very professional and arrange everything according to the itenerary I want.Mr.Anthony was my tour guide.He is very informative and see to it that we can see a lot of animals. We feel safe and secure through out our safari adventures until in Nairobi.I recommend you visit the masai mara and lake nakuru national park,also make sure to visit the bomas of kenya,giraffe center and elephant orphanage .it was an unforgettable experience because i was also able to meet different people especially in miti mingi camp.the price of the whole safari was not expensiveand yet i was able to enjoy it the same as others..i am planning to visit this place if given the chance again..

A wonderful experience
We have wonderful memories of our safari with Imani.
Not only is Imani an excellent guide, who showed us a lot of animals, but he speaks very good French, which makes it much easier to understand the wildlife but also the life of Tanzanians!
Imani is a very subtle person, who understands well what tourists expect, and who adapts as much as possible to their desires and their pace.
We recommend him without hesitation.

The best tour operator
I booked a safari of 4 with Double G Safari.We started our journey right on time.Max was so much on time and I loved it.we got to Ngorongoro gate very early and out journey to the crater began.Max was very detailed about the origin of Ngorongoro to the names of animals and their behaviours.I was so happy to choose Double G safari as our tour operator because we had the best time with my family.
He took really good care of my 19 months baby as he was all over everything.I am definitely planning for another trip with Max.
I recommend Double G safari for your safari to Ngorongoro and all other national parks and the beach.

Amazing
We did 3 day Sadari, Serengeti 2 days and 1 day Ngorongoro crater. Our tour guide Mike was amazing, he knew parks very well and his ability to spot animals from long distance, is amazing!
Our driver passion about serving guests well was awesome, he managed to show us lions from few meters away and we even saw black rhinos :).
Food on this trip was super delicious, chef Lucky is very talented. ( I think i gained few kilograms in 3 days

All of the Go Touch Down staff are extremely dedicated to providing the best experience.
On the day we were leaving to come home, we were already discussing when we should go back. And I would absolutely reach out to Go Touch Down again to help us set up our next adventure. All of the agents who helped us were from South Africa, and therefore incredibly knowledgeable. They all hung in there with us throughout the Covid pandemic and assisted with a couple different rescheduled bookings. Ultimately, they ended up creating three separate bookings for us due to all the government shutdowns that caused us to reschedule. Agents were always prompt in their responses to us and always eased my anxiety over all the unknowns created by the pandemic. They created a level of trust that is so important for a big tour so far from home. Ultimately, we were able to finally enjoy our tour and it was the most epic journey of a lifetime. The food and the accommodations were all incredible. And we LOVED all of our local guides! These guys felt like instant family and we had so much fun driving to and from our activities with them.

Perfect honeymoon and introduction to Africa
Image was easy to work with from initiating the quote process to navigating our itinerary customizations. Mwanje was rapid in responding and made the planning process painless. Our 12 day Safari around Kenya was the most perfect honeymoon owing in no small part to our flawless tour operator Justin. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. We were lucky to see the big five within the first seven days and while some of that is chance it is worth noting that his knowledge of the parks and relationships with other guides aided him immensely in locating animals amidst the vast territory they cover. We loved all of the camps arranged for us especially Satao in Tsavo East and the Serena in Amboseli. The food was exceptional at every stop including the extensive vegetarian offerings. From planning the trip with Mwanje to the execution with our guide Justin we couldn't be happier with the outcome of our trip. I would say they created the trip of a lifetime for us but that would be misleading since we plan to revisit East Africa at the earliest opportunity with the assistance of this exceptional team.

Perfect from start to finish!
We had such a wonderful experience with The Luxury Safari Company. Rose was so helpful in every way. We originally planned to travel in March 2020 and after we were canceled due to Covid restrictions, Rose was right there to work with us on new dates. We had zero fees for rebooking and she was able to get us exactly the same trip- just two years later! The trip was seamless from the pick up in Johannesburg, through customs, and to the driver. Once we got to the driver, he knew us all by name and was knowledgeable about the area. He said he had driven to our lodge at least 500 times. We felt completely safe and comfortable. The Marataba Safari lodge was absolutely magical. The service was amazing and again, when we arrived, they had our names, itinerary, and even knew our food allergies. Rose had sent them everything we needed for a truly once in a lifetime trip. The drive to the second lodge was just as seamless. The luxury safari company really listened to what we wanted out of this trip and it far exceeded our expectations. We would gladly book again with them and will be telling everyone to use them for safari trips. The level of detail in planning was absolutely flawless and if anything went wrong (which it didn’t!) we knew Rose was just a call or email away. Highly, highly recommended!
