Best Safari in Tanzania and unforgettable experience
Although I travelled by myself, I had my own Safari with one driver and one photographer from Kiriwi.
- The route arranged by Kiriwi is ideal. It covers all best highlight of Tanzania. I saw all different landscapes and animals.
- The driver is very experienced. He always finds out the best spot to view animals.
- The photographer is highly skilled. He shared with me photograph skills and helped me make a couple of great photos and videos.
- The Safari itself is in very good condition. The roof design enables me to see animals while protecting me from sunshine. I can also charge my battery in the Safari, which is very convenient. There are plenty of water for me to take as well.
- All hotels and camps on the journey are in very good condition.
- The driver and the photographer are very nice. We become friends in the end.
I especially want to highlight the mass migration part. You cannot miss that. It is just amazing. There are much more animals compared to the Kenya side. I feel so happy to choose Kiriwe to accompany my journey!

Amazing experience in East Africa
I'm incredibly happy that we chose to book our safari with Camptrek.
I have done my fair share of travelling, and have been the person to do the research and booking for everything on all prior trips I have made, so I was a little nervous about planning a trip for africa where I would have to give over that aspect to a tour company. This ended up being a non issue, as Margaret and John were very easy to communicate with and very accomodating to our requests. They made sure everything was perfectly planned and had no issues creating multiple itineraries tailored to our wants.
We ended up deciding on an private safari, which had us visiting Rwanda and Uganda to see mountain gorillas, and Kenya and Tanzania for a more traditional Safari. We started in Kigali Rwanda and ended in Arusha Tanzania. Logistically everything went incredibly smooth, and outside of a borderline nonsensical drive to get from Masai Mara to neighbouring Serengeti (not their fault, but it is worth noting that despite being right beside eachother, there is almost a full travel day to go from one to the other due to the border location), the trip flowed very well. All of our lodging was amazing as well.
Once we arrived in Rwanda we were greeted by our first wonderful guide, Godfrey. He was incredibly friendly and made sure everything went perfectly for the gorilla trekking portion of our Safari. We visited a park I had never heard of before, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, and had an amazing experience with the mountain gorillas. Probably one of the most amazing things ive ever done in my life. We are already thinking about taking a future trip to Uganda, as there were many more parks in the country, and the people were incredibly welcoming.
When we arrived in Kenya we met our next guide Steve. Steve was an absolutely amazing driver, he was incredibly passionate about his work, and knowledgable about the parks and animals. He was in constant communication with the other drivers and made sure that if anything interestering happened while we were in the park that we were front and centre to see it. We saw dozens of lions, cheetahs, rhinos, and other amazing animals from mere feet away.
When we crossed over to Tanzania we met our next guide Simon. Simon was very friendly and went out of his way to help us out. Our game drives in Tanzania were quite eventful and we were able to see alot of animals. We had a late flight out of Arusha, and Simon went out of his way to adjust our plans to squeeze in an extra game drive in the morning, and took us to grab some things we needed in town. I really appreciated that, as he was under no obligation to do that.
Overall everything was perfect. If I were to book this trip again I would happily do so with Camptrek.

Efficient organization and lovely dedication that allows to discover and enjoy the beauty of Kenia
I had the luck of having James Gichina and Johnny Jackson as drivers of this amazing trip through 4 Reserves and Natural Parks. You notice how relentless they were in the pursuit of finding the big 5 five and the best possible shot and educating you about the natural live and its mysteries.
Even that, the nature has its own ways in the games and it was not possible to spot all of them, specially the leopard although all efforts. I hope for it at my return.

Patrick with Shanjoy Tours and Safaris was the complete and best accommodating operator
This was my first safari and Patrick with Sanjoy Tours provided a wonderful day-to-day experience. From the moment I left the hotel and traveled to begin the safari I felt comfortable, excited, and completely enthralled with the beauty of the landscape, scenery, and all of the many types of animals.
Our driver provided detailed information about the different types of topography and animals.
I highly recommend a Safari African Tour with Sanjoy.

Never miss Akagera National Park
We recently had the privilege of visiting Akagera National Park, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Richard, was absolutely amazing and played a huge role in making this trip so special.
Richard's knowledge of the park’s fauna and flora was exceptional. He seemed to know everything about the animals, birds, and plants, and he was always eager to share fascinating insights and answer all of our questions. His passion for wildlife and conservation was contagious, and it gave us a deeper appreciation for the beauty and importance of Akagera.
The safari itself was breathtaking — from spotting majestic lions and elephants to watching herds of antelope and buffalo in their natural habitat. Richard had a sharp eye for finding animals we would have otherwise missed, and his ability to anticipate their behavior gave us unique moments to observe them up close.
On top of that, Richard’s warm personality and professionalism made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip. It was clear he genuinely cared about creating the best possible experience for us.
We highly recommend Akagera National Park to anyone who loves nature and adventure, and if you can, ask for Richard as your guide — you won’t regret it!

Amazing experience!
The gorilla tour with TrueVine was better than we could have imagined. The experiences were fun, accommodations luxurious and communicating with Bernard effortless.
We were also extremely lucky to have Sophia (a guide currently in training) with us. She was easy to talk to and also introduced us to authentic Ugandan culture. Her being there was a perfect example how Bernard only chooses the best peole to lead the tours.
Thank you again for an amazing experience and hope to see you again one day!

Ozon Light is always customer orientated, individual and very fast replying.
During our 15-day vacation in Tanzania and Zanzibar with Ozon Light, we enjoyed a 7-day safari in Ndutu, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. Our guide, Innocent, consistently demonstrated a great understanding of our wishes and needs, excellent timing, and a good sense of the distances, allowing us to experience numerous breathtaking wildlife encounters! Minor changes to the tour were gladly accommodated, and Innocent always shared fascinating details about the animals, the country, and the culture. On the often bumpy roads, he always prioritized safety and ensured the car was clean every day. The accommodations were very well chosen, and we always felt very welcome and comfortable. A truly unforgettable experience was our stay, including an overnight stay, in a Maasai village, where we were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful evening with the Maasai people. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Innocent, and saying goodbye was not easy for us.

We had the best six days at Ku Sungula, the game drives were amazing and the lodge was beautiful
We booked the six-day tour. The communication prior to our arrival was great. Everything was clear for us and we got an overview of what we would do in the coming 6 days.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included and was great. They have a variety of breakfast options which you can choose every evening. They also switch up the lunch and dinner, so everyday you will eat something different which is great.
The game drives were really good as well, you go with a maximum of 9 people at a game drive, but when we were there we had around 4-5 people in the car during the game drives. We spotted the big-5 in the reserve and the guides were really good at English and explaining everything about the animals, plants and the reserve itself. They provide water during the game drives, in the morning they get coffee for you and in the evening there is beer or soft drinks
The lodge was great with an outdoor shower and airconditioning and everyday they come in and clean the room during the game drives.
Our experience was a 10/10 at this lodge and I would recommend anybody to stay here
