Reliable operator, interesting program of parks and made our dreams come true
We went on 5-days safari tour in december 2023 with Khalid as a guide and driver. We really enjoyed how the African big cats safaris built up the program with the Ngorongoro and Serenghetti as the climax of the safari. We managed to see all big five! We chose the mid-range accomodations offered by the safari operator and were satisfied with our choice. Khalid really knows his stuff and you can ask him any questions that might pop into the head. We also liked that the African Big Cats Safaris values their clients and does both debrief before the safari and does the evaluation of the trip afterwards.

Accommodating and professional
We are a family of five, with three children. We started our trip in the morning from Nairobi. By around 4pm we arrived at Masai Mara park. We had around 3 hours of game drive, during that we saw loads of animals including lions feeding and elephants. We then went to the camp site and had dinner (a simple buffet but satisfying), the accommodation was a tent with ensuite facilities, it was clean and suitable for our needs. Next day we had a full day of game drive were we saw many animals and took lots of pictures, we encountered 3 of the big five, Khalifa tried his best to find rhinos and leopards with no luck. 3rd day we went to the Masai village in the morning where we learned about their way of life, it was very informative. We then drove to lake Nakuru, arrived in the afternoon and chilled in the hotel, the rooms were good if outdated. Next morning we went to the lake for the game drive where we saw both black and white rhinos (so we saw 4 out of the big 5), we also saw lots of flamingos and pelicans. Last day we went for a hike in Devil's gate, the scenery was incredible. Lastly we went for a boat ride in lake Naivasha and saw the Hippos. Our driver Khalifa was a masterful driver, courteous and funny. Overall we loved the trip and would recommend it to anyone who loves nature.

Safe and competent tour operator. Solo trekking of Mount Meru... fantastic!
I set off alone on this trek, Mount Meru in four days. Clement the guide who accompanied me was great, very knowledgeable and prepared. He was always at my side or behind me ready to help and support me in moments of difficulty. The team, of cooks and porters, very kind and really good!
Communication with Clement was always excellent, every day I had the information to understand a bit about the itinerary and the organisation. With the tour operator the contacts were great, as was the management of the booking and punctuality. Yes, I would do it again right away... ! I highly recommend it!

Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive guide
The two and a half days we spent with Dickson were unforgettable! My cousin, my brother, and I had a private safari tour during which we saw many animals (lions, leopard, elephants, giraffes, etc.). Having a private tour was the best decision because we could stop anytime, take many photos, and have very personal attention from our guide. He told us stories about every animal we saw, so I feel like I’m leaving not only with new memories but also new knowledge. The camp where we stayed was quite comfortable, with cold and hot water, big beds, generator power to charge phones twice a day, and a cozy bonfire at night where we made friends from different countries. Overall, the communication, the value, and the experience was unmatched! Thank you Dickson for making our holiday so special!
