A beautiful country with even more gracious people
Our entire Kenyan trip was perfect from start to finish. Our safari guide, Soloman was knowledgeable, considerate, kind and made our entire experience above and beyond comfortable! We visited three National Parks (Masai Mara, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru) with lots of road traveling - We saw hundreds of animals along every stop and got to see tons of Kenyans countryside. Soloman shared his knowledge of the parks, Kenyan culture, animals and he went out of his way to make sure we found the best that nature/wildlife had to offer on the day. We learned so much about the native species, birds, and animals because of his knowledge. We left with full hearts and full bellies every single day. We are forever grateful we booked with Jocky tours and were fortunate to have Solomon as our guide.

Breathtaking
We spend 4 nights at the Simbavati River Lodge in a very luxurious tent. The team was absolutely friendly and helpful and we enjoyed every minute. Going out into the bush twice a day was the best. We learned so much from Martin and Stiff and saw next to the Big 5 so much more!

Very flexible!
Salim was great! We had a flight arrive late, people coming in at different times, and a last minute decision to shorten the trip. All of that went smoothly and efficiently, the team cared about our enjoyment and wellbeing.

Unforgettable and wonderful experience
We reached out to five tour operators before choosing Ozon, which was the most attentive and fastest in response, and offered reasonable pricing. This turned out to be a super right decision. Ozon was reliable before and during the tour by paying extensive attention to our different needs. Our tour guide, Issa, was very experienced and thoughtful.

African Traits did an outstanding job of giving us a genuine safari experience.
African Traits did an excellent job of communicating with us prior to the safari and were willing to answer all of our questions and concerns. While we purchased one of the more high end safaris, we definitely felt that we "got our money's worth". The quality of the lodges, tent camps, food, and guide were beyond what we had expected. We saw most every type of animal and bird we wanted to see up close and personal. We always felt safe and that all reasonable precautions were taken.

Amazing safari
My friends and I enjoyed this tour so much with our guide Florian. He is super experienced and gave us a unique experience.
The support from Almachius (sales manager) was also very good at all times.
Overnight stays before and after the safari as well as a shuttle to the airport were organized for us.
On the tour itself, every day and every meal was freshly cooked for us and so delicious. Thank you for that! The tour stood out positively from the other providers because there are no packed lunchboxes, but a picnic with fresh and delicious dishes (veggies also possible).
The safari was also a complete success. We saw all the ’Big Five’ up close, a cheetah hunt and breathtaking natural spectacles. The highlight was definitely camping next to elephants.
I can recommend Meru Slopes 100% and would book it again and again including camping next to wild elephants.

Diane Du Plessis was so very helpful and personable!
Diane Du Plessis made planning my trip so enjoyable and easy. She was always there for me whenever I had a question. She also chose the best safari tent (superior view) for me! Everything played out as planned. For a single woman traveling alone, I wanted everything planned out to a tee, and Diane did that for me. All the drivers were there when they were supposed to be and took me to my planned excursions. I felt very taken care of. I have been telling all my friends that they should use this company (especially Diane!) and I will definitely be using them again.
