A wonderful authentic safari trip across Kenya
My trip began with care and attention to detail provided by Martha the company tour Rep who contacted me within minutes (using WhatsApp) of my online enquiry. She organised an airport pick up the night before my trip which delivered me safely and quickly to my hotel.
The following morning promptly at 8.30 I was collected from my Nairobi hotel and delivered to the office where I met my driver Edward. As I had omitted to bring sunblock with me, Martha brought me to a local pharmacy to get me sorted - that's good customer service in my book.
I had booked a 7 day safari taking in the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. For the first part of safari there was just myself and one other traveler which was great as it meant lots of room for both of us.
Edward was an excellent driver, friendly and engaging, and very a knowledgeable tour guide. Although you often go off the beaten track and the roads within the parks are bumpy and badly surfaced, I always felt safe. He had a keen eye and found and brought us close to all we wanted to see. The lodges throughout the trip were luxurious and all you could ask for and were spotlessly clean. The food was good.
At the start of the 2nd day there was an option, at extra cost, of a dawn balloon ride over the Masai
Mara. The 4.30am wake up call had us at the balloon before sunrise and we were in the air at first light. This incredible experience ended with an champagne breakfast on the Masai Mara - a truly memorable experience. For the rest of the day we toured the park seeing numerous lions at close quarters, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, zebra, giraffes, gazelles and birds. The photo opportunities were spectacular.
Day 3 started with a visit to a Masai village which was incredibly interesting and engaging with more sightseeing in the park before heading to Nakuru National Park and our lodge for the night.
Day 4 started with a tour of Nakuru park where we got close to Rhino before heading to the spectacular lake teeming with flamingo, pelicans and geese. Another truly spectacular photo opportunity. Later in the day we started off to Lake Naivasha. The day ended with an optional guided boat trip across the lake where we witnessed numerous breeds of birds including eagles. At the lake there was an opportunity to walk close to the animals as no predators are present at this location.
Day 5 started with a visit to Hells Gate Park then onwards for the long drive to Amboseli National Park.
Day 6 and 7 consisted of touring Amboseli National Park and witnessing the daily trek of herds to elephants to the marshy areas then back in the evening to the dry areas. Amboseli is a natural wonder - very arid in parts yet marshy in others. It is well worth visiting. Day 7 finished at my hotel in Nairobi but Martha did also facilitate me with an airport transfer the following night.
This trip was a truly great experience. It was well organised and delivered with care and attention to detail. The price of Euro 1610 was well worth it considering the level of luxury of the lodges. It can be done cheaper with less luxurious accommodation and having seen this accommodation, it is pretty good. I would also recommend the optional boat trip on Lake Naivasha, the visit to the Masai village which was an authentic experience and also, in particular, the dawn balloon trip

Bale Mountains Brilliant Tours
Abdisa was our trek leader when me and three friends went for a 4 day trek through Bale. It was my first time in Ethiopia and he made us feel welcome and was really helpful in getting us what we needed, preparing for our trek, pacing us in a comfortable way, and was full of useful information about the plants and animals we were exploring. His horsemen were also really helpful and kind in preparing our campsites and sharing with us traditional Ethiopian food. I highly recommend taking this trek.

Amazing with eye for detail and family friendly
We had an amazing 6 night safari in Masai Mara thanks to Adili Adventures who took care of everything from hotel booking to guide provision and keeping eye for details with our infant baby as well. We also enjoyed the Enkorok Mara campsite nestled in the Masai Mara plains and its very eco friendly. Our guide Jimmy was very knowledgeable, friendly and took care of us at every bit.
We will travel again with Asili adventures in the future and recommend them highly.

Well organized
It was beyond our expectations. We saw loads of animals, even at the first day we almost see all sorts. We chose the option to go with a van, which turned out to be great choice, we went the same routes as the jeeps. There was heavy rain but we only got stuck once thanks to our driver Albert who was really amazing! The tents were also great and cozy and we also liked the food. We would recommend it 100%.

Just amazing!
My girlfriend and I went on a 5-day safari in northern Tanzania (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara). Let me start off by saying that the whole experience was just amazing!
We went with Cross to Africa Safaris and from the very beginning it was a pleasure to work with them. They were very responsive and ready to answer all the questions we had before booking the trip. They were also happy to adapt the itinerary to accommodate our plans (pick-up from JRO, drop-off at the airport in Arusha).
As for the safari itself, my expectations (after watching tons of National Geographic as a child) were huge. And the trip exceeded them all! Btw. hearing a lion’s roar while lying down in a tent is quite a thrill! What’s more, guide Humudy is a real pro. He has years of experience, a deep knowledge of the whole ecosystem and lots of passion to share it. We saw dozens of different species, including the big five, some of them within arm’s reach from the car.
I strongly recommend going for a safari with Cross to Africa.

Shoe is great person, dedicated to what he is doing.
It was a perfect day exploring the Kruger National Park with Shoes from Khalanga Safari,
who was born inside the Kruger and raised in the same Kindergarden where all animals have their kids.
He speeks their language, knows the best places and with all his knowledge about the enviornment,
he made this experience to an unforgatbale meet and greet with the "big boys and girls" :) his family and friends.
Thank you Shoes for all your time.
Very Respectfully, Aron

Amazing experience with a trusted company
I made with African Polecat a 4 days Safari (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) on the end of January 2022 and the experience was simply incredible. The only regret was why I did not book a longer Safari!!
I organized all the trip with John, who also works as a guide at Kilimanjaro trek for the company, and he was all the time taking care of me. He is available via Whatsapp all the day long and he answered in a perfect Engligh all my doubts while planning the trip. Booking a trip like this from abroad it's complicated but with African Polecat all was really easy. I highly recommend booking with them!
I decided to go for the camping option and all was great. The tents were really nice and the food was tasty. You definitely feel like home while being in the heart of the African savanna surrounded by a dreamlike landscape. What else can you ask for?
Hope to see you soon Jonh!!
Un fuerte abrazo des de Andorra!
