Communication: From the get-go, Brilliant stood out from other tour operators in their professional approach. Communication with our agent, Julieth, was smooth and she accommodated all our wishes and gave us expert advice when planning our Safari. Also, unlike other tour operators, Brilliant never spammed my inbox with daily emails, but only sent a small number of timely reminder emails.
Service: From the moment we touched down in Arusha, we felt like true VIPs. Our guide, Joshua, made all our wishes true, even those we never uttered out loud. In addition to the outstanding hospitality and service, Joshua proved incredibly knowledgeable with respect to animals, plants, and Tanzanian culture. We really felt that we learned a lot from him and, for us, this was particularly rewarding.
Accommodations: We selected the mid-range options, which for our standards could easily be considered luxury. All accommodations felt like ‘authentic Tanzanian’, with attentive and caring staff. The rooms, including the bathrooms, were incredibly spacious and the food was outstanding. Also, while other Safari guests had ‘lunchboxes’, we often found ourselves with a three-course picnic for lunch instead!
Value for money: After comparing a number of safari operators in preparation for our trip, we are convinced that Brilliant Adventures & Safaris offers a highly competitive package. Indeed, offers from other tour operators featured limited game drive mileage and did not include the flight to Zanzibar or unlimited (soft) drinks.
Experience: This was hands down the best holiday experience we ever had and Brilliant had a large part in making the trip unforgettable for us. If you care for professional communication, reliable arrangements, outstanding service, and great accommodations, all at a competitive price, you cannot go wrong when booking with Brilliant!

Wild Planet Safari delivers the best of Kruger National Park
My partner and I booked the 5-day express tour of Kruger National Park which took us through the central and southern parts of Kruger. Our tour guide, Chris, and his assistant, Hopeson, were excellent and friendly guides. Chris is very knowledgable about both fauna and flora and has an eagle eye for spotting animals. Hopeson made sure we were always comfortable and well-fed. We stayed at a different park lodge each night, which allowed us to cover a lot of territory. The bungalows are not luxurious, but have all the basic amenities (towels, soap, kitchen equipment, A/C, etc.), are comfortable and perfectly suited for mid-level budget travel. Included in the package was one night tour, which was great (we saw three lions, hyena, lesser bush babies and more). We also paid extra to go on an early-morning walk in order to get out of the truck for a few hours. This was fascinating as you are literally amongst the animals (armed guides accompany you for protection). I highly recommend Wild Planet Safari and especially Chris and Hopeson as guides.

Had an amazing tour throughout kenya and Tanzania with Goodluck Kombe. We went to the Serengeti and the Ngorogoro crater and it was a life changing experience.

Well organized and fun tour!
We had a perfect three day safari to Masai Mara. Our group was fun and we had the best driver possible (Jackson). He was very experienced and knew the best times and places to see all possible animals and we learned a lot about them. The safari had just the right length and program and we could decide flexibly whether we wanted to visit the Masai village or do the bot ride. The tented camp we stayed at was very appropriate for the price we payed and was equipped with own shower, toilet and lots of space. Wifi and electricity was only provided in the evenings, which was fine for us. We'd highly recommend the tour!

Very knowledge and helpful
This was the most phenomenal trip I have ever taken I was given all options of different safaris, prices and all the information on all of them I was very happy with the help I was given in choosing my trip. I felt the price was great considering the trip and all that was included. The accommodations were great, the food was great and the game drives were out of this world. I would recommend go travel and this trip to everyone and I would go again in a heartbeat!

We clicked immediately like old good friends and for the whole time we felt taken care by David.
First of all, this wasn’t our first safari nor first visit in Kenya. We already had some pretty high expectations in mid range budget for 7 days safari, then at the last moment we added additional day in Nairobi. We wanted to maximize our time as much as possible and see all our favorite national parks and private conservations. David has created Safari proposal that met our requests, expectations and needs. What’s more - he was such an amazing person that he keep contacting us two/three times per day, just to make sure everything is going according to our plan and we are satisfied- even after safari, while relaxing in Diani beach - he organized for us a driver, all domestic flights and pick up to the airport. Even in the airport and during our travel back home - he was checking on us are we fine and was worry about our way back home since the heavy winter had already started in Poland. We didn’t just gain an exceptional Safari tour operator in David’s persona and his company, I believe we have earned a real friend that we always can count on - and because of that, we will continue to keep coming back to Kenya and other countries of Central Africa, knowing that we always have a friend who we can rely on. We got god help with locations and activities when booking, before we left and during our trip.
It was a really nice vacation with my family. We went for 8 days, did hiking, saw rock paintings and went on Safari. Viatu helped us on the road as well and all places were super clean and friendly. Have traveled with them before and would do it again!

Hakuna Matata is the best description for Francis our guide
We went for a 4 day safari in masai mara and lake nakuru. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Our guide Francis was always in a good mood and had the best position to watch all the animals. It look like he knew where they were going. If you get Francis as your guide you will have the best time of your life. We had chicken everyday but it was always really well cooked and really tasteful. The tents were nice and we had hot water all the time. Come to masai mara, you wont regret it.

Excellent service.
I just completed my 10 day Budget Kenya - Tanzania Wild Safari with a Hot Air Ballon Safari add on with Beast Spoor Safaris.
I can’t express well enough how happy I am with all the services that Beast Spoor Safaris provided me. Right at the beginning of my inquiry, they were very prompt in answering all my questions . The brochures and proposed Safari schedule were very clear and very detailed with complete pictures and descriptions. Above all, they were all fulfilled and exceeded all of my expectations at the end.
The budget accommodations were all comfortable and adequate plus they gave me some free upgrade surprises too which was really nice.
The food were delicious and nutritious and gave me energy that I need to enjoy all my Safaris. The chef/cook at each venue were all very accommodating to special dietary requirements ( I don’t have one but the other people I am travelling with had some). They also provide bottled drinking water all throughout the travel and Safaris.
The staff who works in each venues were all very friendly and they smile a lot too. Please be generous with them, they all work hard and long hours.
About the animals and events that happened during our game drive (Hyena chasing a Wilder-beast and many more) were spectacular. All the National Parks in Kenya and Tanzania are teeming with many many wild life. Plus the landscape here are very special and unique.
Regarding my itinerary, it was excellent. I was joined with other people with some shorter and longer itineraries, but their network made all the transitions very smooth and well organized. Even at the border, the have reps to help me through the process while I am at the border (by the way don’t forget to bring proof of your Yellow Fever Vaccination, they will ask for it at the border. I got a scanned copy saved on my phone).
But regarding the Safari drive itself , it’s was rough but so much fun. Our pop up roof van was a 4x4 (jeep in Tanzania) but that thing went through mud, rivers of water, moon crater of dirt road - but those are all part of the fun experience of the Safaris here. But in fairness, when some of the tourist requests for the driver to slow down - all the drivers obliged.
But above all, the one stands out the most is that Kelvin at Beast Spoor Safaris , he would send me a text message from time to time to check up on me … that is very rare these days and quite impressive to provide that extra service specially for a solo traveler like me.
Also, their driver Duke , was also excellent. He was professional, on time and drives very safe on the road. Beast Spoor Safaris also provided me with free airport - hotel transfers , outside of my 10 day itinerary which I thought was very generous and a nice extra bonus.
I would rate this company , excellent, 10 of 10 and 5 star rating. I would not hesitate to give them recommendations and referrals and would definitely use them again in the future.
