Horrible Tour Guide Moses Ngugi
The experience was one of a kind. He took us to Maasai Mara Safari from June 7 to 9. He was not friendly, Rude and he was not explaining about the animals or anything pertaining the trip unless you ask. We were expecting good service from Bonfire but it was the worst experience. I will not recommend anyone to use Moses Ngugi as a tour guide he is the worst. The Flair Camp Hosts were Amazing.

Friendly, reliable and knowledgeable
Herbert from Black Santa was great to deal with, he responded to my quiet request quickly and answered all questions in detail.
He was flexible in adapting the tour to suit our needs for pickup in Diani and return to Nairobi.
The itinerary was well put together to maximize the short time we had at Tsavo East and we loved the accommodation at Voi Safari Lodge.
Herbert was friendly and engaging throughout our trip and very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife we saw.
He arranged our train transfer from Voi to Nairobi which we found a great way to travel.
We wish we’d had a longer time on this trip, but it was a great way to wrap up our time in Kenya and I’d happily book with Black Santa again.

Absolutely Amazing!
Tanzania Safari Collection showed our group of 16 everything you think you want to see when visiting Tanzania and so much more during our 11 day safari! As someone from the United States I came with a list of wildlife I was wanting and expecting to see from movies and documentaries and we checked every box and so much more! Any issues encountered during the trip were solved quickly and efficiently by our guide. I would highly recommend Tanzania Safari Collection and our guide Jartan to anyone looking to travel to Tanzania.

Poor
Beautiful scenic, poor for animals, mainly predators, bad maintained, view point closed or poor. Picnic site very poor.

Off the beaten track experience, difficult to find elsewhere - a must.
Having lived and worked in nearby Inhassoro for the past four years I have tried to visit this gem regularly. I has a real feel of being out there in the middle of now-where, 5 star tourist accommodation it doesn’t have (although it is coming) so it is for those who want to get the true raw experience of being in the bush. Plenty of wild life in the sanctuary area, including the Big Five, outside this area game is more scarce but gradually these areas are also becoming alive once more thanks to the efforts of the management team and sponsors. Guided tours are limited, as is signage so you really can get lost in nature here. Sunrise over the Save from Tondo camp has to be experienced. Having visited many parks across Eastern, Southern and Western Africa this is truly one of my favourites.

Well organised and trustworthy
From the moment we arrived, this safari was nothing short of amazing. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, setting the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable adventure.
Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. The game drives were absolutely incredible — we saw so much wildlife and learned a lot along the way.
A huge thank you to our driver, who stayed with us throughout the entire trip. His knowledge, patience, and passion for the wildlife made each drive special. He knew exactly where to go and always made sure we had the best view possible.
This experience exceeded all expectations, and I can’t recommend it enough!
Trav Interactive made the whole experience stress-free by perfectly handling our flights and safari plans.

Great safari tour!
We booked a two week Safari with Shadows of Africa - one week in Tanzania and one week in Uganda - as they were one of the few Safari vendors that were able to accommodate both countries. Karen was great and very responsive in the booking process and gave us a number of recommendations to ensure our trip was to our liking. Our two tour guides were Charles (Tanzania) and Ziwa (Uganda). Charles had an eagle eye and was able to spot leopards and rhinos for us that we would have never found on our own! Both were extremely knowledgeable and friendly and were always focused on ensuring we had a wonderful trip. We highly recommend Shadows of Africa!

The most amazing travel experience from start to finish!!!
If I could give this experience 100 stars, I would. It was just perfect. So perfect, in fact, that we have recommended Meru Slopes Tours to about a dozen people since returning from Tanzania just last week. Kelvin was a fantastic tour organizer for us. He was patient with all of our questions and changes while we were planning the trip. Nixon was great on our first day, taking us up to the waterfalls and the wonderful coffee plantation, where the coffee was delicious and his knowledge of the region was really informative to us as we got acclimated to life in Tanzania. And then Edigar was an absolutely amazing tour guide for our 6 day safari. He was kind, knowledgeable, accommodating. Everything you would want your guide to be. He knew about the animals, plants, birds, and the people of Tanzania and took us on some amazing adventures in the parks and out. Kelvin chose a diverse itinerary for us, that allowed us to see every animal you could imagine, have unimaginable experiences (like a mama elephant and her 2 babies playing next to our tent just a few feet away from where we were sleeping one evening), and stay at some fabulous and beautiful tent camps. The food was an extra bonus too. No cold boxed lunches for us. Every day we had a different menu of hot foods for our lunchtime picnic prepared by the kitchen staff at the tent lodge we had stayed at the night before. Honestly, there is not one thing we would change about our week with Meru Slopes Tours. Meru Slopes made for a once-in-a lifetime experience for us. Everyone should book their safari through them!!!
