Best experience of Magical Kenya
5/5

This was our first African safari and we will never forget about it. Dallago Tours Kenya-Tanzania provided us the best package ever. They know exactly how to provide their clients with the best treatment. We never knew we could receive such amazing 5-star treatment in the middle of Kenyan Maasai Mara savannah. We saw more wild animals than we ever imagined. We had our own 4x4 land cruiser for the 8 days.

About: Safari 56
Getaways from the city’s hustle and bustle!
5/5

I’ve travelled with Safari56 twice and both times the experience surpassed my expectations.
Akida puts his heart into organizing each tour and makes it a point to give it a personal touch. He is constantly on the look for areas of improvement and this comes out in his subsequent trips. Whether you have dietary preferences or traveling with someone at extremes of age, Akida will not only have you covered but also well entertained.
Not to forget, he won’t let you miss out on an experience. You’ll be pushed such that you’ll regret if you missed out.
Definitely recommend!

Jerry Tanzania Tours was exceptional
5/5

We could not have had a better tour company. They delivered what they said they would deliver on time with a smile and at a fair price. The guide was superb and the cook was amazing, They dealt with any and all issues that arose with flexibility and delivered satisfaction. A true value but more importantly we were treated like family. I look forward to a return visit in the near future.

Safari Dreams Come True with Lion King!
5/5

A safari has been a dream of mine as long as I can remember, my husband was open to the idea but not as thrilled. When you look up Lion King Adventure reviews, they are all amazing, and let me tell you, the real deal is just that and so much more!! I could not have pictured a more perfect trip! After being cancelled due to covid, we were nervous to finally be able to go, but we had to have a covid test upon arrival, and we felt safe the entire trip! We did the budget safari, and loved it! from being picked up at the airport to Peter (Petro) was our tour guide, and he was extremely knowledgable of the animals and went into great detail as we came across each one. He was knowledgable of the roads and where all the animals were, making sure that we saw the big 5 and more! Each day we had the BEST breakfast, lunch and dinner made by our wonderful chef Yusuph. We were able to see a herd of elephants with a brand new baby and lions mating in the Tarangire, every turn we made there were animals to see. In the Serengeti, we were able to see multiple prides of lions, including one eating a wildebeest, a leopard napping, hippos in a pond, a mother cheetah teach her cub how to hunt a Thompson Giselle and a rabbit. The cub even put his paws on the front of our vehicle to get a better look at us. We also saw many elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and giselle. On our last day in the Serengeti, we were able to go the hippo viewing area and watch two males battling, and be within mere feet of young lions. Before heading to the Simba camp ground (which was SO beautiful and was our favorite camp spot), we went to the Maasai village where were able to see their culture and how they live, it was beautiful. Ngorongoro Crater was wonderful and we had a delicious breakfast on the side of a pond with hippos as the sun was just coming over the mountain. We were able to see the Rhino, even if from afar and helped us to complete our big 5! There were flamingos and other birds that we were able to see up close. We ended our day at Panorama Camp and besides the stunning view, we were able to celebrate our anniversary where Petro and Yusuph get the performers and all staff to come out singing, dancing and hand us a personalized cake. It was very special. Our last day was in Lake Manyara full of foliage and baboons. I am biased, and my favorite part was being able to see the elephants in this park even though we were told they may be tough to see. My favorite part is the elephants and Petro made sure we were able to sit and watch them for extended periods of time. We were also able to see a lion with a black mane which was fitting as we drove in the car named Scar. It was pretty incredible. There were countless animals and adventures, you just need to check it out to see them all!

From start to finish, this was one of the best experiences of my life.
Pendo was so helpful and clear with expectations and being sure to answer my questions quickly through emails. Emanuel picked us up at the airport and was so friendly and helpful. Petro and Yusuph were the best guide and chef, making us feel comfortable and helping us out thoughout our safari. And lastly, meeting with James at the end was just another reassurance that this is a company who cares about the experience that Lion King clients have.

I would most definitely use them again and refer them to family and friends.

Fantastic planner, well connected and takes care of business
5/5

We reached out to Kim late Thursday evening/ closer to the am asking if she could put something together for the weekend. We woke up to a perfectly planned trip for later that day.

Kim is thoughtful, thorough and listens to what clients need. When we told her that our first night at the resort was less than exceptional, she immediately got on the phone with the resort management and got things straightened. For the rest of the stay, she checked in often to make sure there were no hiccups.

I highly recommend smart voyages for the discerning vacationer.

Excellent and reliable services
5/5

"Travelling during Covid is challenging. It therefore felt good to have a knowledgeable and up to date partner like Obrey Safaris aside to plan and make this trip happen.

Glad we did the Serengeti during Covid as the destination would have certainly felt too busy in a regular year. May is further a lovely time to visit. Nature is lush and green, flowers in bloom, and there are many little ones amongst the herds. Rain was no problem at all as rainfalls did either occur at night or did hardly last for more than half an hour before the sun came through again.

The morning mist and the cloudy skies added a special atmosphere, while the bush babies kept us warm at night.

The itinerary was well balanced and met all our expectations ! Thank you Redempta :)

Great Tour, Great Itinerary, Great Guide
5/5

Two of us signed up with Maranatha tours with the primary goal of seeing Mountain Gorillas in Uganda. We accomplished our goal and had a great experience while in country. Bwindi is some distance from Entebbe/Kampala, where we landed, and so we started the adventure with a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing across the equator along the way. Our driver/guide filled us in on the areas we passed through - the people, the geography, the history, the industry, the politics, etc. We enjoyed a nice boat ride, game drive and vistas while visiting the park. Our path to Bwindi from there took us through different sectors of the park and various low-travelled areas, which lead to additional animal sitings and views of the countryside. The experience in Bwindi was fantastic, and though we had quite a tough hike to reach our designated gorilla family, we did meet them and spend some time observing the group.
Pre-covid, we had planned to go from Bwindi to Volcanoes in Rwanda, for a golden monkey trek and departure from Kigali. Due to travel restrictions, we ended up trekking to see golden monkeys in Mgahinga National Park in Uganda. We also successfully tracked a golden monkey group and had a great experience there. The primary downside was the length of travel to get from there back up to Kampala/Entebbe for departure. We did break up the trip with a stop overnight in Mburo national park. We had a lovely evening and game drive the next day before making our way back to the city for departure.
All in all, Daniel put together a fantastic itinerary. All of the accommodations were excellent, and the food was fresh and tasty. We particularly enjoyed the staff and chef and Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge in Bwindi - very friendly, extremely accommodating, and delicious meals! Our guide John Bob was friendly, prompt, and very knowledgeable. He told us some great stories and really gave us a great feel for his country, the people, and the animals. He is also a great driver and put in a lot of miles!
Overall we had a wonderful experience and Daniel, John Bob, and the team at Maranatha did an excellent job with the itinerary and travel arrangements. Everything went off without a hitch (including the additional Covid testing requirements), and we had a fantastic experience!

A very enjoyable, well organised experience
5/5

I'm currently staying in Tanzania for 6 weeks on a volunteer placement and have always wanted to do a safari. I wanted something that would allow me to see Africa at its best whilst also being affordable and kind to my budget. Collins, the organiser, was really helpful and managed to get me booked on (I also booked last minute and was still able to find a tour). The guide, Moses, was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about all of the animals. He went out of his way to make sure that we were enjoying our time and getting the best from our tour. The accommodation was amazing. The rooms were both large and clean. Everything you needed was provided and the hotel staff were very helpful. All in all, a very enjoyable experience, ran very professionally. Thank you Collins and Moses :)

Ombeni is nothing less than the most perfect tour guide I've ever had!!!
5/5

Gosheni Safaris was great from the moment I was in communication with Peter to the day we landed in Arusha! Our tour guide picked us up and took us to our hotel where we relaxed before the start of the first day of our safari. We did the 5-day luxury package and it truly is a luxurious experience and it could have only been so with the great execution of our guide Ombeni! The entire experience was 100% worth every dollar I spent and I definitely will come back again, as long as Ombeni is my guide! I was told from online sources to go into the safari with low expectations because nature does its own thing and there's a chance that you won't see much, but honestly, if you have an experienced tour guide like Ombeni, you will see more than you could imagine. I never in my life imagined seeing the wildlife that I saw, while also being so close!
