Wanderlust were fabulous. Efficient, trustworthy, fun and go out of their way to please.
We did a 2 day safari with Wanderlust from Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park. They were always on time, the accomodation they booked was better than expected, and they were lovely to deal with. Tongai always responded to our emails quickly and clearly. We also did safaris with other companies while we were in Zimbabwe and Wanderlust were far superior. We will definitely travel with Wanderlust again. Many thanks Tongai.

Parrot Safari was great, always available, and able to help with non-traditional safari needs.
Finally writing about our trip in July of 2021, near the end of COVID. Joseph in the office was always available through WhatsApp and hooked us up with a private driver for around the city after the safari much cheaper than we got quoted on our own.
We had an excellent time and really enjoyed getting to know our safari driver Max. He had a great eye for animals and wasn't afraid to step on the gas to get us into position for great viewing. We watched a cheetah disappear into the tall grass as Max drove us over to a heard of gazelles where we waited for the cheetah. Max was right! Cheetah kill 20 yards from our van.
We were on the budget safari, and it was expected. We saw other groups with better accommodations, food, vehicles, etc. but it didn't bother us. Food was a little repetative. Different safari budgets attract different kinds of people, and we quite enjoyed a younger group on a budget.
Last important thing to know, there are sometimes "transfers," meaning you join another group or others join you... or someone new drives you to the hotel, the border, etc. It takes a little trust, but there was always someone there to help us get where we needed to go.
Kenya, like many places, you will find plenty of people trying to make an extra buck off tourist who don't know what things should cost.

Great company with the best guide
Bogosian,our guide (who is also the owner of Moonlight safaris) is really knowledgeable, not only regarding flora and fauna, but also culture, food and almost anything else you might want to know about Botswana. Communication with him was great from beggining of reservation process all the way to the end. He made us feel like we are old friends without crossing ant lines. He was always polite. For the 14 days we spent together, he managed to show us 9 leopards, 1 have just caught lunch(in only 6 days), honey badger, hyenas, lions( males, females and cubs), elephants, giraffes, the real rare wild dogs, a lot of birds and many, many more. He cave us information about their habits and diet. He made us feel safe during the game drives giving us clear instructions on what to do and what not to do. You can clearly see that he deeply cares for the animals and nature!
I would say that prices were really reasonable for the quality of service Moonlight Safaris provide. I have told all my friends that if they decide to go to Botswana- they should choose Bogosi and Moonlight Safaris! I recommend him and his company to everyone who wants to see true Botswana

Premium service ( 6 days Machame trek+4 days Safari).
We would like to recommend Williamson Adventures to everyone, who provided us with premium service and the most wonderful time in Africa. We spent 10 beautiful days in Tanzania, during which we climbed Kilimanjaro via the Machame (10 members of the group out of 11 successfully climbed). The next day we spent on Safari in Tarangire. Our group of 5 men and 6 women rate this trip as the best of their lives. I have to commend all the people at Williamson Adventures - the driver james who knew everything about the Safari and explained everything about Tanzania to us very nicely; the guide Makanja who knew every rock on KIlimanjaro and made us feel safe; all the porters (hello supetall and others); the cooks and last but not least the manager William for his first class communication. Thanks to Williamson Adventures we had a wonderful 10 days in Tanzania.

Face of Africa Adventures is an outstanding and ethical company. The service and quality of the experience are great. I book large group tours with FOAA and the experience keeps me coming back and has made me a loyal customer. This is the kind of eco-tourism outfit I want to support.
The driver guides take care of your safety and know the animals' behavior and habits so you can get an incredible experience. Drivers in some other companies chase and harass animals. You will not see this with FOAA. They respect and protect wildlife with best practices, ensuring you a terrific experience without jeopardizing the welfare of the animals. The guides have an encyclopedic knowledge of birds, mammals, reptiles, and ecology. You will learn so much about what you see, increasing your appreciation and joy in the experience.
I love working with FOAA and have run four tours with them (more to come). I lead nature drawing and journaling trips for groups of around 20 people. When I book with FOAA, I know we are in good hands and I can concentrate my work on teaching observation and drawing skills and that the logistics are handled. I trust and can rely upon Hamadi Ningaa, the business owner to take care of my group and to treat us well. On every tour, he has delivered a great experience at reasonable prices. He also has helped me rearrange the trips to save money without jeopardizing the experience. FOAA also has contingency and backup plans in place should something unexpected happen so I need not worry about logistics.
