Excellent from start to finish
We had a great experience and a wonderful trip with Bamboo Ecotours. They are professional, organized, responsive, and knowledgeable. We really appreciated that they're all locals and they can plan trips with a focus not just on the big attractions but also on local communities. We also felt that the package they put together for us was great value for the money. Edison, the founder, did a fantastic job communicating with us in the beginning, graciously answering all our questions and proactively providing helpful information to guide us toward the best trip for our goals and budget. We had Godfrey as our guide and driver, and we had a great time with him. He made sure we arrived safely and on time, while also adding a local's perspective and insider tips. We were delayed on our arrival due to poor weather, and both Edison and Godfrey communicated with us during the delay, helped us book last-minute accommodations, and stayed in touch with us through the whole delay. Traveling during COVID also added complexity and Bamboo helped us navigate all our requirements and some COVID-related changes that went into place just as we were starting our trip. There were many moving parts to our 11-day, multi-destination itinerary but the Bamboo team handled everything and we were able to focus on enjoying the trip. We highly recommend Bamboo Ecotours!

The preparations and service was brilliant i couldnt have asked for better.
I tenjoyed my self to the fullest looking forward to going again next year.The communication between the tour operator kept us abreast of all that we required and the progress of transfer arrangements found someone to receive us was really impressed would recommend them anytime . Infact we are planning to have some friends join us next time we go

It is a well organized tour and safari company I have ever traveled with. They called me on the day to confirm the schedule. Picked on time and made me feel wanted.
I would say I got value for my money. They are very reliable and they seem to know where the animals are residing. I would pick that company any time. It's the best.

I really recommend lenchada safaris. Alex is quick at responding and provides detailed information about the whole trip. Moses was our guide and driver. He is a very cautious driver and excellent at spotting animals in the maasai mara.

My husband and I booked a 9-day safari for our honeymoon. Lilian, the owner, worked very closely with us to design the ideal safari. We were able to add some walking safaris and stay in lodges deep in the bush - which we were really excited about. Lilian is a timely and excellent communicator. We felt very well taken care of before and during the trip (and even after as she checks in to see how we are adjusting back home :)).
Our guide was incredible. It was more like having a bonus friend on safari that happens to know everything about the animals and land.
This was a really good deal for everything we got.
Bonus points for working with a locally-owned, woman-owned company.

John Peter and Davido(guide) make a great team. They were the reason why we had such a great time!
We had organized a Kenya/Tanzania tour with African Paradise Safaris back in June of 2020, but because of Covid we had to postpone the trip until a year later. It was a 12 day safari where we visited Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli. John Peter who helped us organize this trip was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. He responded to emails in less than 24 hours and addressed all our concerns and catered our trip to fit our needs. He gave us great confidence in his company and got us excited for our trip!
Davido was our guide/driver during our time in Kenya and was one of the reasons our trip was so incredible. He was so attentive, calm and educational throughout the entire trip. He clearly has built a great reputation amongst his peers and has a great network of people he works with during the game drives to ensure you find the best animals. His eyes are always scouting the area for something to see. His knowledge of the animals was very extensive. He helped guide us through customs during Covid times and always made sure we felt safe. We had to take multiple covid tests to cross borders. This process was new for all parties and Davido handled all situations like a professional. There is no problem that can't be solved. Hakuna Matata!

Excellent and customized quality service
Trot definitely exceeded our expectations providing an amazing and customized service for our 5 days safari trip package. Since the beginning, Hilary has been really nice and helpful with any kind of question or doubt we had and the day of our arrival he was waiting for us in the hotel ready to clarify any doubt and to help us with all the organization of airport transfer and accommodation needs.
During our safari trip, we were assigned an excellent guide, who spent the 5 days with us. Fred delighted us with amazing knowledge about Tanzania’s wildlife, as well as incredible information about the national parks, Tanzanians history, among others. Also we were assigned a cook, Chales, who also spent the 5 days with us. The food was delicious and widely varied including local flavors and different cooking techniques.
I would like to highlight the friendly attitude of Fred and Chales, as they did our trip 100% better, always laughing, helping and open to every kind of question and doubt we had.
Finally, the accommodation provided by Trot were outstanding. The car was spacious and with all kind of features to improve our confort (from plugs, AC, and water bottles always available). The camping equipment was extremely comfortable and of high quality, which make our trip even better.
I highly recommend Trot Safari for everyone who would like to have an incredible experience in Tanzania and I would definitely choose them again for my next visit to this beautiful country.
