We even saw a lot of baby animals. Even though we slept good at the campgrounds we would not recommend it because it’s really wild.

Very caring, professional, knowledgeable.
5/5

The Afrikan Accent Adventures exceeded all our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with how personable, caring and professional Hellen and Nico were. They made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. They taught us so much about Kenya, Nairobi and Maasai Mara and used their knowledge and experience to create the most perfect itinerary. You can tell that they truly care about their client experience but at the same time have huge respect for nature and wildlife. We spent a lot of time researching many different safari companies in Kenya and couldn’t be happier with our choice. If you do not want to be disappointed we strongly recommend that you choose Afrikan Accent Adventures. We guarantee that you won’t regret it and that they’ll take the best care of you.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Perfect Safari Experience — Thank You Lazaro, Miranda, and Roko!
5/5

I had the most amazing and perfect trip — truly the experience of a lifetime! My guide, Lazaro, was a local Maasai man who knew the land and animals so well. Even though it’s not a zoo and sightings can be unpredictable, he was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I saw everything I dreamed of: cheetahs, leopards, lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, flamingos, and so much more.

As a solo female traveler, I always felt completely safe and comfortable. Lazaro was kind, respectful, and professional, and he even helped take great photos of me throughout the trip! He spoke excellent English and went above and beyond — helping me negotiate fair prices for souvenirs, setting up camp, and arranging everything perfectly.

The camping experience was wonderful — the cook prepared delicious meals every night, with plenty to eat, and the tent was very comfortable (I’m used to camping, so I felt right at home). I later learned that I had paid far less for my private safari than others had for shared ones, and I couldn’t believe the value I received.

Lazaro also helped me organize an unforgettable hot air balloon ride — the views over the Serengeti were absolutely incredible and something I’ll never forget. Miranda and Roko handled all my logistics, including airport pickups, drop-offs, and lovely hotel stays before and after the safari. I had some issues with payment when arranging my trip and Miranda was so kind and patient with me. Their communications were always timely and professional, and they even had a gift for me when I arrived.

Everything was seamless from start to finish. I can’t recommend this team enough to anyone thinking about visiting Tanzania.

Thank you so much, Lazaro, Miranda, and Roku, for making my dream safari come true!

Richard was the absolute best and we could have not asked for a better Safari experience.
5/5

Life-changing. Unforgettable. I simply can't say enough.

My wife and I chose to fulfill a lifelong dream of going on an African Safari for our honeymoon and all our expectations and hopes were not only met but far exceeded. We originally had looked into using a Western tour company, however were advised by friends to work with locals as to better support the domestic economy- and we were so happy with our decision.

From the moment we began booking- the process was easy, informative, and very secure. We were guided towards a tour, region and amount of time that best suited our interests and budget, and were provided a level of familiarity with the country that the non-Tanzanian companies we spoke to simply did not have.

Then when we finally arrived- that's where the fun really began. We could not have asked for a better time in Tanzania, and it was all due to the wonderful and thoughtful hard work put in by our guide Richard. He took great care of us from the moment we met, and made sure that our every need, wish and interest were addressed. Richard is so clearly passionate about wildlife and what he does- and because of his expertise and knowledge we were able to see all of the Big 5, the Great Migration Wildebeest crossing across the Mara river, as well as tons of other animals moving about in their natural habitat.

Richard always seemed to know exactly where to go, and could answer any question we had both about the animals as well as the local culture. Furthermore he made sure we were comfortable and happy as we celebrated our honeymoon- and most importantly he was personable, friendly and deeply kind. In the end, we felt that not only did we experience an unforgettable vacation, but that we also left with a dear new friend.

So thank you so much Richard for one of the most incredible trips of our lives!

If anyone is considering a Tanzanian Safari- Richard is the one!

Professional from start to finish.
5/5

From the first email Geophrey was great to communicate with. He put together a wonderful a 12 day private safari itinerary through Tanzania and Kenya which we made small adjustments to via WhatsApp with ease.

The accomodation was fantastic (tents in the Serengeti were a highlight), the food was wonderful everywhere, the guides, especially Richard, were extremely knowledgeable and great drivers. And the National Parks we visited absolutely blew us away.

We also saw the gorillas in Uganda and everything was just as well organised, from pick ups to guides and accomodation.

I highly recommend Kichaka for an unforgettable African experience.

Amazing Namibia tour with Peter
5/5

We spent 19 days traveling through Namibia with Peter, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Everything was perfectly organized. Our expectations were exceeded again and again. Peter is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly kind and patient. He was wonderful with the children and made sure everyone felt comfortable and happy throughout the trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

The facilities were clean and upscale. The staff were very kind and friendly. The food was great and buffet style so you could make your own choices and not have to wait for food. The safari vehicles were awesome. You could always see and get pictures with great views. Our guide took us all over to see every animal we wanted too. It was great value for the money.

We booked the 2 day safari the day before and received the most amazing service. Pickup and drop off from our hotel. Friendly driver (Alex) and our tour guide Petros was amazing. The 5 star accommodation at the Ivory Tree Game Lodge was incredible

Slightly above average operator but disappointingly poor tour guide
4/5

We booked a 7 days safari trip in Kenya, taking in 4 different parks including Amboseli, Nakuru, Naivasha, and Masai Mara. The communication from Susan was decent enough, and all out questions were answered. I did have some concerns as we got a week away from the start of the trip, as the website was down and i couldnt get any response from susan for a few days. However using the WhatsApp number helped and i got the reassurance all was fine. The safari itself was enjoyable in that we saw lots of animals and the big 5.

The weather was hot and it was sunny most days making it a lovely break from the british weather.

Accommodation was budget but fine overall, but my daughter did get fed up of the similar and repetitive food options at each of the different camps. So generally I was happy with our budget choice.

However, I can't hide my complete disappointment with the driver/guide that we had, called David.
I expected and hoped that we would have a guide that was engaging and Informative, to really make the trip memorable for me and my 12 Yr old daughter.

Sadly, it became clear very early that the guide was not really interested in us, or making the trip special. David hardly engaged us at all the whole week. He shared little knowledge of the animals, and what he did share was quite basic. Beyond naming animals, there wasn't much more shared than that for most of the time.

At the end of each day he'd tell us what time we were to meet next day after breakfast, and with a polite hello in the morning, that was pretty much it in terms of conversation.

This lack of communication led to a potential issue when we arrived at Masai Mara gate where he informed us we'd need to produce our passports. Why did he not tell us that morning before we left our camp? Or the night before? Thankfully I had photos of the passports which took me a while to find, but at least we didn't have to go drive back 25 min to camp and get them. This unnecessary stress and anxiety could have easily been avoided, but just epitomised the guides lack of interest, overall apathy, and generally jaded demeanour.

In general, to be absolutely honest, he appeared bored, wasn't very attentive, spent most of the time speaking on his phone while driving, or checking Facebook/other media whenever we stopped, and generally hardly said a word to us. As the only proper English speaking people there I thought he might have taken more interest in engaging us and sharing some knowledge. Not only that, his lack if attentiveness was realised several times, when we'd pull up behind other jeeps who were in a better viewing position of animals, and when they moved on, I'd have to disturb him from his scrolling in his phone ask him to move forward ro where the other jeeps had been so we could get the views they had.

It's a real shame, as I spoke to other people at the camps and their experience with their guides with other companies seemed far better - more communication, more conversation, more knowledge sharing, more engagement.

I feel a bit gutted for my daughter that David did very little to make this trip of a lifetime feel like a trip of a lifetime, but could have so easily been remedied with a few interesting anecdotes, facts, and general conversation. If David is the guide in future safaris, I'll use a different company.
