Exactly what you want from a safari
I did a 3 day safari splitting the time between the Serengeti and ngorongoro. Absolutely fantastic places. You can never guarantee what you are going to see but we managed to see pretty much everything in just this time. We even managed to catch a glimpse of a rhino.
Our guide James was very knowledgeable and friendly and we were also provided with nice meals by Charles.

Not just a safari. It was an experience.
Looking for a safari online was very overwhelming. There are many options that offer similar tour deals and packages. I spent some time reading at reviews. Mr. Wilson’s tour called my eye right when I kept seeing te ríes about his honesty and charm. I did contacted him. Got and replay a few hours after with a detail itinerary and the price in writing. I kept shopping around, but I got convinced with Mr. Wilson. I confirmed my safari date and time.
While I was planning my trip, I needed a train ticket from Nairobi to Mombasa. I learned that I required a local phone number or Mpesa system to pay for the ticket. I reached out to Mr. Wilson. He did not hesitate to help me out. I sent him my passport info and the itinerary for the train ticket I wanted. A few minutes after, I received a screenshot with my train ticket. Yes!, he paid that with his own money. I hadn’t even pay for the safari yet, it been in Kenya yet. His vote of confidence was extremely generous! When I met him in, I paid the safari and the train ticket (the original price). He didn’t even made a profit about it!
The safari in general was not just a trip. It was an experience. Jimmy (the driver) was patience, made sure we all felt good and gave us time to admire and take pictures. He was very knowledgeable about the animals. He gave us facts and made everybody in the group feel included. We were a total of 5. We were all solo travelers from different countries and languages. The culture mix in the van was amazing. There were Japanese, Danish, French, English, Swahili and Spanish native languages. Fascinating !
The lodge were we stayed was comfortable. We all had our own tent. To my surprise, each tent had its own bathroom with running water and hot shower.. yes! Hot shower !
The food was buffet style. It was tasty and had several options for vegetarians (like me). We (the group) agreed about the food being delicious and generous portions! We all took second rounds !
During the full day drive, I had the most memorable time during the safari. We had a picnic right under a tree looking at some elephants far away. This is the moment when this safari became into an experience. Jimmy had us lunch bags pre-made from the lodge. I also had to mention, there was plenty of drinking water at all the times.
I am very satisfied about the my experience. I feel it was worth every penny. I feel confident to recommend this to my family and friends.

Exceptional experience with Lion King Adventures in Serengeti and Ngorongoro
Absolutely great experience with Lion King Adventures. Since we arrived to Serengeti Gilbert (tour guide) took care of us, always having the best attitude and for sure very knowledgeable about all surroundings and animals. Always found the best spot to watch them and making sure they were no disturb. I would highly recommend Lion King Adventures and specially Gilbert, we could not have asked for a better tour guide.

My partner and I used the service whilst on a week holiday in Capetown. Before we travelled we were recommended the service by a friend living in Cape Town. Trustworthy
I had a great experience considering my circumstances. My airline lost my luggage and i had to pro-post the trip hoping my luggage would be there by then. Despite not having my luggage my guide Samy advised me well and helped me renting equipment what I needed and I was still able to have a great time. I was well taken care of, getting cooked very well and great service during the whole hike. I love that I could choose the low budget version where I was sleeping in the tent.

Exceptional experience
Lion king tours far exceeded my expectations. They met us at the airport and from that point on the red carpet was rolled out. The driver took our luggage and we had personalized wine bottles with our names on them waiting for us in the truck. Every day we had water, soda, beer, and wine waiting for us in the truck. When we arrived in Serengeti airport the following day Gilbert our tour guide met us and was amazing. His wildlife management background makes him the perfect tour guide. His ability to safely drive us while still pointing out near invisible animals was second to none. His knowledge of the environment, culture, and people made it such a great trip. I would highly recommend Lion King Adventures and Gilbert to anyone.

Extraordinary
Lion King Adventures and our guide, Gilbert were sensational. They emailed with us a few months prior to our arrival to insure we had the best experience and made great suggestions. They took care of everything from all of our pickups, air travel into Serengeti, hotel in Ngorongoro, to having beer, wine, and water in jeep every day. They even personalized our wine bottles with our names. Our guide, Gilbert was sensational. His wildlife management background provided us with the best information on the wildlife, people, and cultures. He made sure all of our needs were met and was professional and personable. Cannot imagine not having him as our guide. Highly recommended Lion King Adventures and Gilbert!

Trip of a lifetime
We approached Pembury Tours at the end of March of 2022 to plan for a trip in June 2022. Tammy Harding was our Tour Consultant and we had a great experience throughout the entire trip planning process and while we were on holiday. Even though it was a fairly short time before our travel dates, Tammy did a fantastic job putting together our itinerary based on our requirements. There were a few activities we wanted to include and she was also able to accommodate them into the itinerary and gave her recommendations/advice.
Before our travel, Tammy promptly sent us all the required information and also made herself available on whatsapp if we had any questions. She also sent us additional information ahead of us receiving the detailed travel pack just so we were prepared ahead of time. While on holiday, we were able to easily contact Tammy who checked in with us as well. All of Tammy's recommendations on accommodation and activities were spot on and we enjoyed them very much. The lodges we stayed exceeded expectations and all transfer partners were highly professional and service was excellent!
It was a trip to remember and we will not hesitate to book with Pembury Tours again in future. Will definitely recommend our friends and family to book with them too!

We are Happy and Satisfied with Safari by Z Experience!
We booked Safari by Z for 5 days and checked all the boxes on our expectations list: saw a lot of animals, including a Big5, witnessed a lioness kill the wildebeest (which is extremely rare to witness), enjoyed beautiful nature and luxury accommodations. During our trip planning, the management of the company was helpful, clear, and accommodating. Our tour guy/ driver Lemomo was a very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced guide. We are happy and satisfied with Safari by Z experience!
