Excellent day trip into Kruger
I researched many of the safari companies while I was planning a trip to South Africa and into Kruger Park. Legend Safari's kept coming to the top, meeting all the criteria I was looking for. From the first email requesting information, I knew I was making the right choice. Sarah was impressively responsive and took care of all the booking details. She was professional and personable. I knew my booking would go without a hitch.
She arranged a shuttle from White River to Hazyview as I didn't want to drive at 4:30am. Bradley Cooper was the shuttle driver and then our day tour guide. He didn't sing !!! like the actor Bradley Cooper but was one of the best guides we have had. He was an excellent driver and turned the vehicle around in many directions to give us the best view. He communicated with many of the other guides on the radio and on his Guides WhatApp group who he knows well. to pinpoint where game could be found during our 8hr tour. He found all of the Big 5 which is almost unheard of. He was full of information about all of the animals we saw. His information regarding the symbiotic relationships between many animals and birds was so interesting. He was fun, and professional and clearly has a passion for sharing his country and the Kruger Park with visitors. Altogether we saw 16 different animals. 10 birds and thousands of Impala !!!. He even drove 20 Kms to see if a leopard and his porcupine prey was still right off the road, it was and was amazing, so was the traffic jam of cars wanting to see it as well. I highly recommend Legend Safaris,Sarah and Bradley. One helpful tip!! the breakfast stop for 30mins and lunch stop 45 minutes is very tight as the food service is extremely slow in all places. So perhaps bring your own or order and eat quickly ! Use the restroom quickly too as those are the only restroom stops.After all we were there to see the game not really to eat !!! Good experience with a budget tour
Our five day Mt Kenya trek was an amazing experience. The hike passes through multiple eco zones, from rain forest to alpine desert. We saw many hyrax, bird species, and some monkeys. The summit sunrise was spectacular. Our route, up Sirimon down Chogoria, seemed like a good choice because it seemed easier to reach the summit from the Sirimon side and then we got to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Chogoria side on the way down.
Our guide, Daniel, knew the trail and the area well and answered lots of questions we had about wildlife, geography, and culture. He was attentive to how we were faring on the trail and helped out when needed. I would definitely recommend him and his crew. Our food and accommodations (mostly tenting) were good quality, and our porters were friendly and helpful.
Those interested should note that two things about the transport to and from the mountain: (1) we were taken to and from Nairobi on the public mini-bus, which was an over three hour drive, and on the return trip, we had to wait about an hour at the bus station before the bus filled up and embarked. This was an interesting experience in its own way but if I were to do this trip again I would probably try to book a private car instead to save some time and comfort. (2) the $50 car pickup on the Chogoria side on the last day seems a bit overpriced and was not really optional for us, because the hike is otherwise impractically long to reach town in time to return to Nairobi by the evening.

MoAfrika did a phenomal job booking our safari. Communication was fast and easy for all of our questions to be answered. We booked a 3-day safari and stayed at Timbavati. The staff exceeded all of our expectations and made us feel right at home. It was everything we could have ever imagined and more. Specifically, Rachel, Delsi and Alan made our experience at Timbavati one of the most memorable times for us when we would come back from the safari day and night rides. Our guides for the safaris were very knowledgeable. Although we didn’t see the entire big 5- we saw sooo many animals and were more than satisfied with our wildlife observations- of course knowing that wildlife is unpredictable so any sighting is a lucky one! Incredible to see animals living in their natural elements.

Amazing experience, top operator!
We had a lovely 5 day mid-range shared safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Everything was perfect. The lodges were also super nice. Our guide Damian was the best: attentive, knowledgeable, funny, and a great person! Suricata was also extremely helpful and flexible to our plans. Totally recommend!

First safari and for sure not the last
This was our first safari experience and we absolutely recommend Suricata. The safari was very well planned, all accommodations were great standards, the guide, Damian, was very knowledgeable, kind and funny. Suricata was very flexible and the communication was super easy. We had an unforgettable time!

Accommodating, adaptable, responsive, and responsible
With ample operators from which to choose, I'm immensely glad I stumbled upon Almighty Kilimanjaro when organising a trip to Kilimanjaro. Accommodating, adaptable, responsive, and responsible are but few of the very positive attributes they brought to the table whilst enabling myself and one other to enjoy the Machame Route in five days as opposed to the usual six (upon our request). Both our guides were of high calibre and kept us entertained and informed throughout our trip, providing additional support when the effects of high altitude joined the party. Furthermore, the quality of food was astounding considering our remote location, and the friendliness and easy-going nature of the porters was never in doubt. To summarise, Almighty Kilimanjaro provided a truly excellent experience in tackling one of the seven summits and are a provider whom I would wholeheartedly recommend and gladly use again. Thanks!
