Unforgettable Safari!
5/5

No word are sufficient to describe just how awesome safari-ing/camping with Tony and his crew was! If you can, include Savuti in your itinerary...so beautiful, so peaceful. Without a doubt, I will be booking a repeat adventure with this company. Thank you Tony, Eddie, and Ben for a truly unforgettable experience.

Bespoke itinerary with perfect balance of service and value
5/5

Castro was was helpful and responsive in organizing a bespoke private safari to the Ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti NP. We were seeking a trip with some comfort but without luxury or excess, for a reasonable price, and Kastro delivered just that. In particular, Kastro arranged for us to overnight at the Serengeti Research Hostel (a well-kept secret for comfortable budget lodging) along with a a private cook, Freddy, (providing the best food on our trip) in order to provide just the right balance of value and comfort. Kastro and our guide, Arthur, both greeted us at the airport and even greatly assisted with sorting out our delayed baggage with the airline, and even drove 4 hours each way in the night to deliver the baggage when it finally arrived on a later flight! Arthur was friendly and enthusiastic and struck the right balance between seeking wildlife on our own and making use of the radios to see what other guides had discovered. Highly recommended, especially for those seeking to create a bespoke itinerary.

Wonderful Kili and Safari Tour
5/5

I'm a profissional photographer and it was the third time already that I used Cappello Adventures first to climb Kili and after for a 6 day camping Safari in Taranguire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti and I had a wonderful time. Castro is a very responsible guy and the cooks and guide where wonderful. There was a very heavy rain in Serengeti, a lot of tents were leaking, but I slept in a dry one, strong point for Cappello! I recommend and definitely will use only Cappello in Tanzania. Ratings are very good too.

Amazing 6 days in Uganda!
5/5

I stayed 6 days in Uganda to do basically Gorilla Mountain, the rest I left up to him. I'm an profissional photographer and I told him, that I'm interested in Wildlife, Landscape and Nature. So we went also to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Chimpanzee in Rift Valley. James picked me up from the airport and we amazing 6 days together, wonderful conversation, a very intense cultural interchange (I'm Swiss and living in Brazil). So it was a very interesting tour and James is an amazing and competente guide, that made wonderful pictures possible. For that I strongly recommend MJ Safari!

Awesome experience! Couldn’t ask for a better trip!
5/5

I was able to book my trip in less than a week and everything went perfect. Mussa did a great job. He was able to give me the options I wanted and we were able to see everything I wanted to. It was such a cool experience, I can’t wait to go again.

Another late review, but excellent company
5/5

Sorry for the delay, just found this site.

review originally published on Tripadvisor straight after safari.

We did a 7 day safari with Wayo and they were fantastic.

Even trying to find something to fault we couldn't.

Pre safari dealings were professional and thorough.

Our guide was great entertainment, very friendly and helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Zaph is a credit to the company. He is also a great spotter for animals, his ability to find things was almost spooky, and I would recommend anyone who is lucky enough to have him for a guide to just "play the game" as he says.

We had specified the accomodations, but were sort of talked into the Light Camp on the Serengeti. Thank god we were as this was a wonderful experience. THe toilets were our biggest worry but they were fine. The food was very good ( the bbq's pork ribs we had were as good as I have ever had and this is a food I love) and the camp staff couldn't do enough for us.

Speaking to another couple we met they had also camped at Lake Manyara who said that camp was great as well, but we opted to stay at Rhotia Valley lodge which has an orphanage attached and the revenue from the lodge goes to help look after the kids. I would also recommend this.

If we do a safari again, and I hope we do, we will be using Wayo and requesting Zaph.

Great operator

Sorry for the delay in writing this, just found the site.

This was published straight after our trip on Tripadvisor

We are a family of 4 with 2 early teen daughters.

Praise took us on a wonderful, entertaining and educational visit of his village, surrounding area and the coffee plantation. All 4 of us really enjoyed the day. The tunnels were very interesting and the Chagga live village very entertaining and full of information. Edmund gave a great presentation on the culture of the area and it is fantastic to see someone so enthusiastic about his heritage and traditions and willing to share it in such a fashion.

Lunch was at the coffee plantation, and prepared by Praise's mum, and was delicious, with traditional African fare. Our youngest is a very fussy eater but loved the food.

I would thoroughly recommended this for anyone who has a day to spend on Moshi or Arusha.

Praise was an excellent host and guide. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism. We were staying in a small boutique hotel in Arusha that he did not know so he drove down the night before to make sure that he knew where it was and be back in the morning on time. This is a3-4 hour round trip and shows the sort of dedication he gives his clients.

As the name says, you too will Love Uganda
5/5

We traveled to Uganda Dec 17, primarily to see Gorillas.

Despite warnings on the Aus Gov website of reconsider travel we went ahead, and glad we did as the Ugandan people were wonderful, friendly and welcoming and we did not feel uneasy, afraid or threatened for a moment in the 2 weeks we were travelling

After doing a lot of research, and speaking with previous customers, we selected Love Uganda.

One of the main reasons was that they are actively involved with, and most of the profits go to, a local orphanage that they support.

I dealt with Coleb through the booking process and he could not have been more helpful or responsive.

Our divers and guides (David and Israel) were thorough professionals and made the trip so much better than we had hoped for, including arranging a cake for one of our party who had a birthday during the trip.

The activities we selected, and those that were recommended by Love Uganda, were all wonderful.

I would thoroughly recommend Love Uganda, and if we are lucky enough to go back to the region would not hesitate to travel with them again.

Only things that I would point out are
-we were a group of 7 and the van for a group of this size may not suit everyone. It was fine for us, and pretty standard for Uganda, but may not be good for everyone
- make sure that you think about times and what you want to see. I was really hoping to visit a Batwa community but we ran out of time. I should have thought more and listened to Coleb, would have planned a second night at Bwindi. Driving times are much longer than you expect.
- Stay out near Kibale. We were at Royal Kazinga cottages. Staying near Kibale you can do night walks and not waste hours driving

World class VIP experience.
5/5

Sir Michaels safaris surpassed my expectation. The driver(Dik Dik) to maasai mara was on time, fun and very knowledgeable.
Sir Michaels also coordinated our travel from maasai mara to Diani beach. They kept in touch with us through out to make sure we were ok until out trip ended and we were back home safe. I will definitely use them for my future Kenyan adventures.
