Absolutely wonderful experience - would recommend to all who visit Uganda.
5/5

We booked a 9 seater van with a driver for a week to travel around Uganda. We started in Kampala for two days, then went to Mbale and Soroti, including a day trip to Kaberamaido and then to Jinja and back to Kampala.

The best thing about the company was our driver, HARUNA, who was wonderful. He was punctual, well-mannered, polite, kind, flexible and helpful. He was happy to accommodate all our needs including when we wanted to stay out rather rather at night or go to obscure locations. He made us feel safe and ensured our comfort at all times. Please do ask for him if he is available. He was like a family member for us over the course of the week.

The company itself was excellent. Phionah was easily contactable by email ensuring that we had no worries prior to the holiday and that all our questions were answered. We were travelling in a big family group and were all very happy with the service in every way and highly recommend it to all visiting Uganda.

We had a wonderful 19 day safari experience with Wildebeest Safari
5/5

My wife and I did an extended 19 day safari with Wildebeest Safaris in January 2018, making a big loop through Kenya and Tanzania, visiting Samburu, Ol Pajeta, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Amboseli. The safari more than exceeded our expectations. We had the time of our lives and would highly recommend the experience. Everything was as promised and everything went smoothly. All of the guides were first rate - very knowledgeable, experienced and highly skilled, fun to be with and great at finding wildlife and getting us really really close to it. They added a tremendous amount to the experience. We always felt safe and in good hands. We never got stuck, despite dealing with serious mud or sand at times. We had Dennis for 9 days in Kenya, Chotara for 7 days in Tanzania and Andrew for the last two days in Amboseli. You cannot go wrong with any of these guys.

We saw all of the marquee wildlife that East Africa has to offer, including 3 leopards, 11 cheetah and over 80 lions - and 1 serval and 3 genets. In Masai Mara we saw all of the Big 5 just in one morning. We got close to big cats feeding at 4 fresh kills ( lots of gore), had ring side seats to a stand-off between cheetah and hyena, saw lions mating close-up (repeatedly) and even saw lion cubs nursing and a cheetah (with her cub) chasing a gazelle. And that’s just the cats!

All of the lodges and camps were clean and comfortable, and often downright luxurious. The food was generally good and certainly was plentiful. The itinerary suggested by Noah of Wildebeest Safaris was varied and exciting and avoided too many long travel days. In setting up the trip, Noah was always prompt and professional in responding to any questions or other communications.

All in all, it was a first rate trip with Wildebeest Safaris. Our only quibbles would be that binoculars were missing or broken in 2 of the vehicles - so it would be best to bring your own - and some of the seat belts in the Landcruisers need attending to.

An extremely enlightening and accomodating experience from someone who uses a wheelchair daily.
5/5

I require the full time use of a manual wheelchair so I knew my safari experience was going to need some special considerations. The staff at EASTCO were extremely helpful in mapping out a safari where i could experience all the wonders that a safari should include. I was able to partake in both the gorilla and chimpanzee treks as well as the daily game drives and general camp life.

I can highly recommend this safari company to anyone with mobility issues, just talk with the staff about your needs and they do anything possible to accommodate them.

Amazing 20 day safari
5/5

Finally returning to this amazing part of the World after 4 years since our first African adventure with Eastco. What an amazing experience to share with 8 close friends and our remarkable staff: Brian, Dickson, Ezekiel and Wilson.
Once again, Eastco have well and truly exceeded our needs and expectations from the preparation phase with David until our emotional goodbyes on day 20. Thanks to Brian & Dickson our amazing cook for catering to the dietary needs of some of our party, including; lactose intolerant meals and vegetarian meals – resulting in multiple dishes to be cooked everyday (I can’t imagine this being easy in the middle of the Serengeti).
Our group size of 8 resulted in the necessity of two vehicles, Wilson was our captain and conducted a very professional yet entertaining demeanour for the entirety of the trip. The second half of our party were ‘cruising’ with Ezekiel, we absolutely adored his comical attitude which entertained us around the dinner table. We would love to thank both drivers for always making us feel safe, comfortable and continuing to stop for tyre checks (very frequent on a party of 8 when trying keep hydrated).
From Day 1 to Day 20 we loved every aspect of the safari, however I will narrow it down to my three most memorable experiences.
- Trekking with the Bweza Mountain Gorillas amongst Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, if you have not yet experienced spending some time with these amazing creatures, I strongly advise doing so. Also, the drive to visit this specific group into the Rushaga sector of Bwindi is the most incredible drive I have ever witnessed; from the glorious views over the tea plantations to the one-way roads high amongst the cliff tops.
- Our 4 unforgettable days in the Serengeti. From the late-night sounds echoing through the campsite, stalking two Male Cheetahs on the hunt for multiple hours, including; 2 unsuccessful hunts, followed by a savage attack of three younger male Cheetahs.
- Third remarkable experience was our time at Boundary Hill Lodge. After 18 days camping it was perfect to spend our final days together in the comfort of this special lodge. Boundary Hill is build upon the escarpments overlooking Tarangire National Park with each room offering its own unique décor. The rooms are designed in a manner that allows spectacular views of the morning sunrise, even from the toilet.
We are already talking about our next adventure with Eastco and will certainly request the same staff if possible. If you have any questions about our trip I would love to assist.

Asante Sana Eastco.

Pick up times were observed and the promised destinations just as magical as promised.
5/5

Well, it was my first time using a tours/travel service and what better choice could I make than Urbema? I must say that I loved that they observed pickup and drop off schedule, the communication and flexibility to plan change and extensions. If anything, I will engage their services again. Thank you Urbema, you made Naivasha worth my while.

Thank you
5/5

My sister and I have been to Tanzania for a trip back to the past to find the places we used to visit when we lived our childhood in Mtera a small village between Dodoma and Iringa. We knew it would have been quite a mission impossible to find our memories after 30 years but with the precious help of our guide Kazunga and Sona who has made sure everything was smooth we managed to find exactly what we were looking for. Kazunga has been professional, friendly and most reliable and this has made us feel at ease and safe. We went to Dodoma, Iringa, had a safari in Ruaha National Park, spent some days in Dar Es Salaam and some in Zanzibar. All has been perfect! Thank you so much once more!

Amazing experience! 7 days safari and Kilimanjaro
5/5

I did two activities with the Kili Slope: Ascent to Mount Kilimanjaro via Machame route and 7 days of safari. The initial email contact was very good. David Maro is very friendly, gave quick answers and made the booking process very easy. On arrival at the airport there was already a Kili Slope front desk staff and it was alright. I stayed in a simple hotel (Meru Inn), however clean and tidy. No problem. The climb to Kilimanjaro was very good. The guide, cook and porters always very friendly and helpful. The food during the climb is excellent and of good quality. Everything went very well and the service was very good.
The 7 day safari was also excellent. The car is very good, the meals are also great. We visited the parks, saw lots of animals and the campsites were very good. I make a special highlight for the guide Ziggy. He drives very well and has a lot of experience on safaris. We found several animals. He was very helpful and friendly. Anyway, I recommend the Kili Slope for safaris and Kilimanjaro. The service was great and the prices were very good too.

From every point of view a lasting experience
5/5

The nature of this country is of incredible beauty. Xavier, our guide, was the best we could have to introduce us to this beauty, very professional regarding organization, very experienced with everything related to wildlife, very open to let us look a bit deeper into the culture of his country.
He's not only doing his job, he's doing it with dedication. It was great to have him as a guide!

The lodges we slept in were very nice and particular places, we really enjoyed staying there.
The food was good, but as it seems to be usual in Uganda, in the lodges the food offered is very influenced by Indian culture. The quality of everything we tried was without any doubt very good, but I can't hide that I enjoyed very much when there was the opportunity to try also local food whilst travelling...

It's difficult to describe all the single aspects of this trip. It was a really significant experience in its whole - for everything we had the opportunity to live and see there and thanks to the excellent back ground work of organization and preparation of our tour operator.

To be honest, we just want to go back and do another trip. Can't wait for it!
