Wonderful experience from start to finish!
From the moment we first enquired about itineraries, Tekko Tours couldn’t have been more helpful and easy to communicate with, providing prompt and helpful responses all the way through our booking process. We opted to make a few changes to the itinerary that we chose and these requests we all dealt with swiftly without any issues. In comparison to other quotes we received we thought the value for money was great and we don’t feel like we overspent on any aspect of the trip. The tour itself was faultless, whilst there was a lot of travel between locations each stop offered something different which made the distance covered worthwhile.
Our driver went out of his way to ensure our trip was special, he was very knowledgeable and happy to share information throughout the trip to enhance our experience. He was always on time ensuring we made the most of each location, he even getting to the airport an hour before our arrival time (4am) to ensure we wouldn’t start later than necessary.

I had the absolute pleasure of Booking a tour with People’s tours and safari for my solo trip in Namibia. Fanuel served as my guide. What a fantastic experience and a fantastic company and a fantastic guide! From the get go, everything went smoothly. I contacted the company and immediately got a response from Albin who was kind and incredibly helpful. He answered my questions and helped me with organizing the tour. Then I received my itinerary as well as the name and contact information for my guide. My guide showed up to get me for our Namibian desert adventure as he said he would. The three days touring and camping in the Namibian desert with Fanuel as my guide was AWESOME! He is such a warm soul. We had great conversations, listened to great music and just had general good vibes. This trip was my first time camping and Fanuel made it amazing. He also was incredible patience and helped me take the 10 million photos I wanted to take (haha), which is very important because a girl needs her photos. All the time we were on the adventure, I felt safe. He’s a great driver and tour guide and he went above and beyond to make my adventure an amazing one! 10/10 I highly recommend! We planned our 6-day safari with Rajab, who was very responsive in our discussions. He answered all of our questions and concerns.
He was able to adapt to all our requests, creating an itinerary adapted to our constraints.

Dismas was attentive, caring, patient, funny and always in a good mood. He is passionate about his job and makes you feel it.

Great service on fantastic 4 days camping safari
My wife and I went on a 4-day group safari with Suricata Safaris going to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The tour was well-organized from start to finish. We were picked up at Arusha Airport and taken to a hotel in Arusha the day before beginning the trip (this service and hotel are included) where we were met by our guide Edgar who explained to us what was going to happen the next four days. Edgar was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the enrtire tour, and he succeeded in guiding us to see almost every animal we could have wanted, incl lions, cheetahs with cubs, leopard, elephants, hyenas, almost every species of antilope, girafes, two rhinos, and more.
We travelled in a comfortable jeep in a group of seven people, which worked fine.
We stayed in different camp sites which were decent, the tents were pitched when we arrived every evening and provided with sleeping pads and sleeping bags. The food was excellent thanks to our two man cooking/camp site team. Solid breakfasts with eggs, pancakes, toasted bread and fresh fruit; deliciously coocked lunches consisting of rice, meat stews and vegetables; and two course dinners (amazing soups for starter and a varying selection of hot dishes for the main course + wine. We felt lucky as we saw many our tour groups were only provided with basic lunch boxes with some sandwiches instead of our freshly coocked "proper" food.
The only problem we had was with some park entrance payments one day, apparently due to some network issues (internet is usually quite bad anywhere in Tanzania, at least in our experience) and was fairly quickly resolved without too much delay.
All in all, I can only strongly recommend going on a safari with Suricata, which we felt were also competitively priced ($780 per person, all inclusive). The service was great the entire way, and I would definitely use them again if I return to Tanzania one day.
