Gilmag Safaris delivered The Big 5 on the first day of safari
From the very first interaction with Mary via email and then WhatsApp, she responded to questions almost immediately. She assured me regarding my concerns. The package she created was perfect. The lodges were excellent and the arrangement of where we started and finished was great.
We spent seven days with our guide Nickson in Tanzania on safari and he made our trip memorable. He found us all of the Big Five within the first day!

Very helpful
I had John as my driver and he was very helpful when it came to explaining the different species of animal. He was also very funny and added laughter into out safari tours.

Extremely friendly and professional.
We are a party of 28 - 24 students aged 16-18 and four teachers.
When we arrived at the airport, we were met by Jimmy, Jeff and Eric from Jocky Tours who were extremely friendly and helped load our bags for us.
Jimmy informed of us of everything we needed to know and asked us of there were any other things we wanted to do every step of the way to be as accommodating as possible.
Jimmy was my driver, while we had three other jeeps with drivers who were just as friendly and helpful.
Jimmy was very knowledgeable about the local areas and especially about the animals and birds that we encountered on safari in various parks. Jimmy gave us plenty of time to watch and take photographs of everything we wanted to and managed to find all of the 'Big 5' and the 'Ugly 5' animals for us.
Jimmy arranged things such as visits to the Elephant orphanage and Giraffe sanctuary and made sure he was there to facilitate it all.
I could not recommend Jimmy or Jocky Tours highly enough, and will be booking with them again when we run the same tour in 2 years time!
We have a LOT of very happy students and teachers here in Nairobi, and many jealous ones still at home too!

Outstanding
I had the most amazing time with Jocky Tours, the guides were welcoming and always went above and beyond. The safaris were truly phenomenal, and the tour guides were very knowledgeable about the wildlife. (Shout out to Alex and Dennis). Amazing value for money. I had the experience of a life time.

Great routes and really friendly guides
My tour guides alex dennis were really friendly and, knowledgeble about the safari, animals and happy to answer any questions.
They really welcomed us and made us feel like a family.
Would strongly reccomend to anyone interested in going on a safari.

An incredible experience I will remember for the rest of my life
Our tour guide Dennis was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and was always positive taking us around the various parks and reserves we visited - even when things didn't go to plan. All aspects our journey were well planned out and he was continuously communicating with other guides so we can all get the best experience possible.
I would highly recommend a safari with Jockey Tours as this has been a life changing experience.

Very kind and fun to be around
I loved how we were able to fully experience the safari by seeing the animals up close as well as being able to stand in the vehicle to gain a better viewing experience. The tour guide was very lovely and loved to tell us different facts about the various animals. It was never boring and it was always fun !

The drivers were welcoming and helpful throughout our trip.
For our trip around Kenya, our group had a driver named Jimmy. He and the other three drivers were very friendly to us throughout the entire trip to the Maasai Mara, Amboseli and Nairobi. They took care of our needs and ensured we had frequent stops, food breaks etc. The drivers showed sacrifice when they were willing to drive an extra 40 minutes to their own accommodation after dropping us all off our camps when there was no space available for them.

Approachable and informative
All the drivers were incredible with identifying the animals and giving us heaps of information as we drove through the safari. John, Jimmy and Alex were the drivers and they were so friendly and had patience with us all and i couldnt be happier to have them as the drivers.

Funny, nice to talk to and educating
The drivers are great to chat with and have a laugh with and are educative about animals during safaris. Amazing durable jeeps that get through some of the rough roads of kenya.
