From the start, Minneh was available for our questions, she really adapted the trip to our requests and did as much price simulations as we needed. She was super flexible even when we had to move the trip to other dates due to a family issue. Thank you so much Minneh for your professionalism and flexibility.
Jocky tours is the most competitive organisation we found for safari tours and we appreciated that everything was included in the price we were given (especially park fees).
Our driver James had a lot of knowledge about animals. He made sure he achieved the goals we had fixed together and in a day, we saw lions, crocodiles, hippos, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, antilopes, zebras etc. The landscapes he brought us to were amazing. That way, we had a day of rest so the kids could enjoy the swimming pool at the hotel.
James was friendly and a very careful driver!

Reliable, caring and truly amazing
We were going on a custom 5 day Safari to kick-off our honeymoon. From the very beginning and even after we were very well taken care off! The service Lilian and her team provided was extraordinary.
We started off with a hike on the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro before hitting the national parks for the Safari. Our guide was Ahmed - who impressed with thorough knowledge on flora and fauna, as well as on a personal level as a great, fun and positive person. We felt like in a real-life David Attenborough movie ... and of course we saw the Big 5
We stayed almost every night at another hotel - the selection of the hotels was excellent. All of them very of high quality and unique in their architecture, location and view.
One thing that should be definitely mentioned besides the great Safari experience, is Lilian's cooking skills - besides all the wild animals and beautiful landscape, her prepared lunch boxes were definitely a highlight - is mentioned as first to our friends along the Big 5 :) And while addressing the lunch, I want to also positively mention that our lunch boxes were - differently to many other providers we saw along the road who used single use packing - reusable aluminium bowls which were refilled every day.
We would definitely decide for Zohar again.

Discovering the unexpected, a 5 days private safari
It was the first time, that we decided to do a Safari and after some online reviews we finished contacting among a few additional companies, fortunately, Gosheni Safari.
We wanted to do a 5 days safari with lodge acommodation covering Tarangire, Serengeti, Crater Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.
From the beginning the communication with Gosheni was incredible good, Pendo did a great job. In difference to other companies we contacted, Pendo was providing us options matching exactly our request and with different proposals, with a real clear explanation of the planning and acommodations included. She was always answering our questions in a few hours, through email or though whatsap and at the end we decided us for a private tour, with middle range lodge acommodation.
Unfortunatelly due COVID we had to delay our partially paid safari 2 days before the start, but again there was not problem at all! At the end, we get the change to fly two weeks later than originally planned and Pendo was there to reorganize everything ASAP.
At the start of the safari we were picked up in our hotel by our fantastic guide and driver Ombeni. He was amazing, fluent english, always happy, making jokes and generate a really comfortable athmosphere, always there to help us and make us enjoy the experience. As he would say, really "The man of the people". He was our driver and guide, but during the safari he converted also in our friend.
We started with a small briefing on the Gosheni Office in Arusha. There we would able to see, that Gosheni was not "Other more" Arusha Safary company , it was a high professional company.
During this briefing, we were so lucky that we got an upgrade for our first night because our booked one was closed due corona. The replacement we got was a 5 star hotel on lake manyara with pool, were you were surrounded by Zebras, Jiraffa and more animals that you could watch from your room(or from the pool!).
The car was great, big, comfortable with drinks always available and was kept always extremely clean by Ombeni. We got everyday a real hot meal for lunch with wine, and not only the typical sandwich Lunchbox. The other guides and clients were jealous as they saw how nice was handled everything by Ombeni.
During the safari we were able to see not only the Big Five, but much more than expected! Gosheni is an amazing company, but with Ombeni it is incredible, he makes a difference.

The best place to seek perfect and memorable experience from.
I was looking for the best and perfect place to celebrate my special anniversary from,Mr.Graham Kalande was the person that came to my mind.I contacted him and he executed more what I wanted.I really enjoyed my timely travels,hotel room where I spent my two nights,the delicious meals at AA Masai Lodge and not forgetting the bonfires that was spiced up with a Masai dance,the cake and fine for the event.
Then came the game drives,aawww!!what a feeling one could crave for.The driver/tour guide Mr.Martin really just did a perfect job.We enjoyed seeing wild animals,perfect sceneries,park lunches and bot forgetting the wonderful interactions with tourists from other nations.What a moment that was!
Last but not list,we had the rare chance if learning and understanding the Masai traditional culture.It was a real time experience I have been craving for in years.The Masai ornaments I bought will act us the best memories for the years to come.We left the Masai Mara on time and arrived at our home on time and safely.Thank you so much Extra Miles Unique Adventures,Driver/Guide Mr.Martin and one Mr.Graham Kalande for the best package that served our need.Excellent experience.

First of all, communication with Arnold was excellent, he kept all his agreements.
We had a very nice safari, nothing to complain about.
The price quality ratio was good.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food during the safari, they have never disappointed us, the food was prepared on site by an excellent chef.
The driver was always very cheerful you could ask him anything it was never a problem.

We discovered Discover Africa in October when we first went to the south of Namibia . They organised such a fantastic trip then that we decided to use them again. It also gave us a flexibility that you needs in these covid times if you need to change your bookings due to covid. We chopped and changed our dates a few times but they were always accommodating and fitted in with our requests. Their service and communication is excellent.
Our accommodation ranged from basic ( our choice on 2 occasions) and luxurious.
Discover Africa organised a Toyota Fortuna for us in Windhoek and we drove to Okaukuejo camp inside Etosha for 2 nights ( our choice ) Megan managed to secure us a waterhole premium chalet even though they were very busy. Even though it was basic and very busy because of school holidays , the premium chalets are really worthwhile to stay in for the early morning light and the animal viewing. Thereafter we drove through Etosha to Onguma the Fort which was magical and luxurious. So many opportunities for game viewing at their waterhole and game drives. We would definitely go there again.
Our travels took us north along the Kunene river and then back south again.
Other places we loved staying at were the Kapika falls lodge at Epupa falls and then further south at Camp Kipwe near Twyfelfontein. Camp Kipwe was isolated , loved the desert landscape , the sunsets, the staff , the food, the accommodation, everything. Other highlights were the desert elephant tour and the tour to burnt mountain,organ pipes and Twyfelfontein rock engravings. We would definitely go back there again.
Our last stop outside Windhoek was Omaanda hotel - luxurious , relaxing , beautiful pool , lovely staff and opportunities to do game drives walks etc
We had so many different wonderful experiences which can’t be captured in a short synopsis

They really care
I love baboon safaris. I even went 3 times with them. The owner is very, very kind, he even met me for coffee!!, and he always gave me great drivers,one was called Dennis (for a 1 week trip and a 3 day trip) and he was the best guide ever and one was Anthony and he also was stunning. They REALLY cared for me. I went alone and so it is important you can trust. You can. I d always choose them again. The more expensive the accomodations the better the experience will also be, so I plan to choose their best accomodations always. They really help you immediately, even if it's just a stop for a coke. Anthony identified the tiniest grey birds for me. We saw the wildebeast migration, guess Dennis gave me the best place to film it, he was so motivated to make it the best for me. Miss you all. Hope to be back soon. Dennis wanted to drove non stop from 6 to sunset so that I get the most out of it. Really really so devoted.

Exceptional Service from a Company that Cares
Gorilla trekking has always been a high priority on my bucket list. My friend and I began our research for a trip to Uganda in October. After corresponding with several companies it was obvious that Edison, the owner of Bamboo Ecotours Ltd., was the first person to go above and beyond answering every question (and there were many) that we put forth. He suggested we search for the best price for airfare and he would then suggest our itinerary. He did not disappoint ! A major hurdle at the beginning of the trip necessitated overnighting in Amsterdam as our flight from Newark was delayed by three hours to Brussels. We were delayed by one day and Edison managed to rearrange the complete trip. Just the task of moving permits for the Gorilla trek was a huge task not to mention our three other treks or hotel accommodations.
Finally arriving a day late and standing in line at lost baggage for over one and a half hours our adventure was to begin. As luck would have it the lost bag contained clothing I had sent to bring to the Batwa Village so my personal items were with me. Edison to the rescue again. When the bag finally arrived four days later he retrieved the bag from the airport and managed to deliver it to us along the route.
Everything from this point on can only be described as magical.
From the time we met our driver Fred at the airport to the night he returned us luggage and gifts in tow he stood by until we had passed through the strict Covid testing procedure. The company scheduled our test and made sure we were taken to the sight. Just one of the many gestures that made the experience stress free.
From trekking to see Rhinos, Gorillas, Chimpanzees and the most beautiful Golden Monkeys in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (where the Gold meets the Silver) every day was a new and exciting adventure. Safari drives, boat cruises and excursions by canoe to the Mabamba wetlands to discover the elusive Shoebill. When we weren’t accompanied by a ranger our driver Fred was an excellent spotter and pointed out so many wonderful bird species as well as wildlife. The first beautiful view of 1/1/2022 over Lake Mutanda with the mist topping Mount Muhabura, Mount Sabyinyo and Mount Gahinga will forever be
etched in my memory.
Every thing Bamboo Ecotours Ltd. promised was delivered and more so much more. Thank you so much Edison and Fred. The people of Uganda are gentle and welcoming. This was my fourth trip to Africa and I have to say do not miss a chance to visit Uganda - “The Pearl of Africa”.

Our guide, Joza is smart, polite and has a wide knowledge about every animal/bird in the savannah and constantly asked for feedback to make sure we are getting the experience we want!
Nathan is a talented chef, humble and hardworking, his food was various and tasty and even made us pancakes and cake!
Both of them helped me surprise my fiance for his bday with cake and wishes and for this i will always remember them.
All in all, i made the best choice in booking with 7wonders and it really was a wonderful tour!
