Amazing trip
We had a great 5 days trip with Thomas our guide. He really gave the extra mile to make this trip unforgettable. His 25 years experience makes the difference. Great safari experience for the cost with Aroni, a skilled, attentive and kind driver.
It was an amazing experience. During the booking, the tour company was clear in all aspects, particularly in what was and what was not included in the price. We found they offer options for all budgets, so we took the budget one. During the trip, we were welcome and guided all the time, with absolutely clear descriptions about what to expect. Aroni, the experienced guide/driver who took us during the trip, provided great info about the wild life during the safari. He also was informative and clear regarding prices in souvenir shops and bargains. He always offer a room of time for us to do the sightseeing, and took us continously across different spots in the Masai Mara. We were lucky to have Aroni as our guide. The accommodation was fair for the price, with clean and comfy enough spaces. Food and water were provided during the trip, as agreed from the very beginning. Totally recommended.

Knowledgeable and worth every penny
This was our second safari trip with Luxury Safari. We were in South Africa, the Winelands and Kenya in 2018, experiencing 3 safari camps and in Tanzania this trip, experiencing 3 camps, 4 nights each, with 4 nights in Zanzibar at the end. After 12 days of safari, Zanzibar could definitely be extended. Communication is key. Initially, when talking to Rose, she helped steer us away from some of the most advertised camps…simply because of what we told her we wanted to see and experience. I greatly appreciate an agent or company that treats our pocketbook like it was theirs and wants the client to have the best experience according to the clients budget. Our trips were perfectly organized and planned well. Tipping was an issue for us due to the amount of “new” entries into safari staffing. With staff, guide, butler, and personal tent attendant we felt we were expected to tip beyond what we budgeted. Also, as travelers we read each countries requirements for entry. This needs to be better communicated from Luxury Travel. The last camp we were in even said as much. For example, we thought we needed a Health form filled out for Zanzibar within 24 hours before arrival. Not true. The manager at Namiri Plains said it was frustrating that so many guests were not being told by their travel agents what the requirements were. Minor issues. That said, this type of trip is grueling AND the most rewarding trip we’ve ever had the pleasure of taking. We will absolutely book with Luxury Safari again!

Great Safari with experienced Driver/Guide
We had a great time with Safari Sole Tour. Easy booking process and friendly staff.
Our Driver/Guide Simon had a great knowledge of all animals, Maasai and Tanzania in general, we even learned some Swahili with him. Everything we asked him he had an answer and during our tour he explained a lot. Simon was also an experienced driver and he knew where to go to see really close the lioness, the cheetah, the leopard and many more.
Chef Dennis spoiled us with lots of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It was an awesome and memorable trip thanks to the staff to Safari Sole. Make sure Simon will be your guide :-)

Wonderful 5-day safari experience
Our 5-day safari with Suricata included everything we could hope for and more. Everything from planning to execution the safari went very smooth. Our guide showed his great experience throughout the safari by amazing spotting and providing us with the best possible positions to watch these awesome animals. Constantly being at the right place at the right time is not just luck, and we were incredibly happy to have Vincent as our guide. The chef (Tito) served delicious meals every day. The chef and guide provided optimal conditions to enjoy the safari. As a bonus we were lucky to be in a very good company with four amazing tourists, creating the perfect atmosphere.

Money making scheme
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS OPERATOR OR GO ON A TOUR TO MITI MING.
They say on the website a maximum of 7 people. At the start of our journey we was 6 which was great as everyone had a window seat and could stand up to watch the wildlife during the safari.
However on day 2, 2 people were forced to join us. Even though we all complained extensively we were told tough. This meant someone had to sit in the front (cannot stand up and only have view of one side - not 360 like all other window seats stood up) and someone stood in the middle (no window seat). We were very cramped up and couldn’t move much. Especially driving over rough terrain in a minivan (not 4x4 with small wheels).
This is a money making scheme so they didn’t have to paid for another driver and view of a minivan for a 12 hour tour. Yes 12 hours with 8 people cramped in a minivan. This is not what we paid for and nothing was resolved.
I will never go back to Kenya again, the people were so rude and any opportunity to get money from you. Tried to make us go to the village for 20USD, go on a 450USD balloon ride and also I boat ride that we didn’t care for the price as we knew it would be expensive.
AVOID THIS SAFARI COMPANY AND CAMPSITE. Join a safari you are going to enjoy and a company that stick to their agreement.

Walter , The Wild Animal Whisperer Was Wonderful ! 5 “W’s” For A 5 “Stars” Experience
We did a quick 9 Day Safari experience which included 4 days in 3 Parks , 1 day touring in Stone Town (Zanzibar) & 3 days relaxing at a beach resort in Zanzibar. Our Safari guide , Walter, made this such a memorable trip. Living In Arusha, he knew and shared everything about the history, topography, food , local customs, Masai Warriors and of course animals and their behavior. Our accommodations were very comfortable at each place we stayed.
Tanzania Roadside Expeditions was dependable, honest & accessible throughout the entire planning of the trip as well as during and after the trip. We would highly recommend them.
One note: Next time we would try to stay 2 or 3 nights at Serengeti Park, it really was the highlight of the Safari. Trying to do 3 parks in 4 days ( our request) was overly ambitious and made for a lot of driving time and limited our enjoyment of accommodation amenities.
