Very good organized
We made a booking in advance and had contact with Tassia, Johns wife. When we arrived John met us the day before at our hotel. He also helped me getting a prepaid simcard and ferry tickets in Dar es Salaam. The next day Julius, our driver came at the exact time to pick us up with his comfortable Toyota Landcruiser. The trip was relaxed, we stopped for lunch. When arrived at Mikumi, we had a half day game drive, Julius was very kind and tried his best to show us the game and tell us more about it too. We saw the lions on our first day. We stayed at at Camp Bastion just outside the park. It was very comfortable and very nice people. Everything we discussed in advance, they arranged it for us. We recommend Kasaka to everyone!

The Experience was Very good, our own tour guide Alberto was terrific made sure we was well reserved along the journey very polite and most importantly he made us see many animals as possible and were very friendly. Extremely great!
Booking a safari can be a daunting task, particularly for those with no prior experience. However, our experience with Serengeti Clarity's Frank put our concerns to rest. He demonstrated expertise in ensuring the booking process was as streamlined as possible. Upon arrival, we were amazed by the trip he delivered, surpassing our wildest expectations. The lodges were breathtaking and our safari guide was truly extraordinary.
In total, we spent seven days with Serengeti Clarity. We spent one night in Arusha upon our arrival, followed by a day trip to Tarangire, and a stay at the "Farm of Dreams" in Karatu to break up the drive to the Serengeti. We then spent two days and nights at Ang'ata tented lodge in the Serengeti, followed by a stay at Ang'ata's sister lodge in Ngorongoro. Our last day of safari was at Ngorongoro, followed by a drive back to Arusha, where we spent a final night before our departure. We opted for a private safari, which allowed us to enjoy the experience exclusively with just the two of us in the car, along with our driver (if it is within your budget, this is undoubtedly the way to go).
The accommodations were of a 5-star standard and exceeded our expectations by a considerable margin (we encourage you to research them separately).

Exceptional 7 Day Trip Through Rwanda and Uganda with Kajie Safaris
I had the pleasure of working with Ronald at Kajie Safari to organize and operate my 7 day trip through Rwanda and Uganda in February 2023.
I was looking for a tour operator that could incorporate both the Gorilla Tracking in Rwanda and the Gorilla Tracking in Uganda and found that Kajie Safari could accommodate my request within the time frame I was looking at. Ronald was highly responsive, accomodating and transparent about the chances of getting permits and crafting an itinerary based on my specific preferences. For example, I had asked if it was possible to start and end the tour at the hotels I had booked in Kigali and Entebbe respectively. Ronald assured me that this was possible and when I got on the ground in Rwanda and Uganda, it was only then that I realized how far out of the way my hotels were for Ronald yet he still accommodated my requests anyways. I was absolutely grateful that Ronald agreed to this as he made my travel plans so much easier.
As a tour operator, I observed how Ronald and Kajie Safari are deeply connected in the Uganda tourist industry. Ronald knew all of the other tour operators, the lodging and hotel staff, and national park rangers. When we were on our game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ronald was able to work with other tour operators and national park rangers to locate the big game within the park and drive to the spots to ensure that I was able to view the big game. Ronald has strong ties with the hotel and lodging staff which made staying at the local accommodations feel that much homier.
I feel like being this deeply connected within the industry is an important consideration when selecting the right tour operator because when you are abroad, you want to make sure that someone who is receiving you on the other end knows the community well and can help guide you and provide the best experiences possible.
Ronald’s knowledge of the scenic back roads in Uganda was truly amazing. He would maneuver through off road conditions with ease, drive through roads that were not shown on Google maps, and still get to our next destination on time all while showcasing the beauty of Uganda’s natural landscape. It would have been easier to take the main road to our next destination, but Ronald believed that driving through these scenic back roads was part of providing the best and most authentic experiences possible and he was not wrong!

Lovely safari time. Beautiful accommodations. Just sad about the drought conditions, and some animals dying due to lack of green grass to eat. Seeing Mt Kilimanjaro in the distance was beautiful.
