What an amazing experience!
5/5

Nature Connect Safaris really made our trip so special! They helped us customize and adjust the itinerary to what we wanted to see and do. Francis, our tour guide, was the best! He is so kind and helpful, and helped us see all the best things. We will definitely be going with this Safari company next time we come!

A bucket list trip
5/5

Right from the get go, Axis Africa have been excellent. They tended to our needs and made the whole expedition easy especially with the ongoing global pandemic.
Our tour guide, Khalifa, was exceptional. He was waiting for us at the airport, provided us the opportunity to stop for snacks before we drove to the Masai Mara. Khalifa had great knowledge about the area and gave us many opportunities to get close to the animals.
Khalifa taught us so much about Kenya over our 4 day trip and took us to Cooke great hidden spots.
I can not recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safari enough. Make sure you ask for Khalifa as your guide to get an incredible safari experience.

I would give then 100 stars if I could!!
5/5

We actually didn't get to go in June 2020 but I needed to write this review anyway!!

In 2019, I began planning an Africa trip with Darren at Compass Odyssey for 7 people in June 2020. He was amazing from the very beginning. Always available to answer any questions we had, patient with us when we changed our minds about exactly what we wanted to do, and planning a great trip that would fit into our budget. Over the planning time, we had people drop out, people who wanted to extend their trip, concerns about what "shots" we might need and a myriad of other concerns. Through all of that, Darren was a champ. He handled every change we wanted made, answered all of our questions and allayed all of our concerns.

Then comes COVID! We had to postpone our trip, which Darren handled brilliantly. He made sure that all of our deposits would hold until June 2021 and took care of all the legwork involved in moving our trip out a year.

Here we are approaching June, 2021, and we are now having to postpone again, as some of our travelers are still uncomfortable with going. I assumed we were going to have to just cancel and try to get reimbursed by our travel insurance for nonrefundable expenses already paid.

Well, that didn't happen. Darren stepped up to the plate and all of our deposits, etc, have been extended until at least the end of 2022. So our trip of a lifetime isn't gone, just on hold!

I'm pretty positive that we will go in 2022, but I know for a fact that if we can't, Darren will make it right for us. I'm sure that, eventually, I will be back here writing another glowing review after we get back from our trip.

If you ever want to go to Africa, you could not find a better company than Compass Odyssey or a better person than Darren, to plan YOUR trip of a lifetime!!

OUR SAFARI WAS INCREDIBLE!!
5/5

We were in Zanzibar and we wanted to finish our vacation with a Safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. My friends recommended First Class Africa and everything was arranged in just three days with all destinations and accommodations that we requested. The Safari was perfect, from the transfer to Zanzibar, to the Airport and back, our 4 day adventure with FCA was spectacular. Our driver was professional, very friendly and most importantly extremely knowledgeable. We had a blast the entire time! At the last minute, we decided to re-route our trip and fly direct to Zanzibar. We contacted FCA and informed them of our change in schedule. They were not only responsive but executed our schedule changes flawlessly. Rest assured, you can really plan your safari as you want with First Class Africa. It will be your best vacation ever! Jastone is an expert in his field. He is very focused on customer satisfaction and hopefully you will get a pleasant surprise and get a chance to meet him in person before and after the safari. Incredible Service!!

Super Safari Value
5/5

Rose of Hyrax Safaris was great at communicating. Very responsive, flexible, and helpful. The tours themselves were excellent. I was a solo traveler and they customized a number of park visits at a very reasonable price. Guides, vehicles, and accommodations were all very good. I highly recommend Hyrax Safaris and I will use them again when I return -- can't wait!

Amazing safari trip 25 days Uganda gorilla, chimpanzee and wildlife adventure safari
5/5

Paradise Adventure Vacations are amazing I can’t thank them enough for how well they looked after me. I took the 25 days Uganda Gorilla, Trekking and Wildlife tour’, which was so very reasonably priced.

Stanley and Mussa were my guides, and were fantastic hosts, so warm and friendly . They both put me at ease from the minute I met them and I felt totally safe with them, which was essential as I was a lone as a solo traveller.
They explained our road trip in great detail before we set out and tailored it to my needs. This resulted in the greatest adventure of my life, exploring some amazing parts of fabulous Uganda.

The country has such biodiversity which is overwhelmingly beautiful. I would never have imagined I would see so many birds, animals, plant life and stunning scenery. The Uganda people are also wonderful, they always seem to be happy, even though they have very little in the way of money or possessions. Everywhere we stopped people were so kind, friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

We toured the South West of the country and throughout I was treated like royalty, made comfortable and had everything I needed. Stanely and Mussa were so knowledgable and gave a running commentary about each location and what I was viewing. Their skill at locating all kinds of animals, birds and scenery left me speechless.

Departing from Entebbe where I was staying, we stopped at Mbarara for a feast of a breakfast. On our journey we kept seeing the wonderful Marabou storks, there was a particular large flock in one village.
We visited and passed through so many places, too many to recall all of them. Bushenyi, Ishaka, Ankole tea estate, Mwintanzige lake, Lake Katwe, Kazinger channel, saw the Rwenzori Mountain the biggest and largest in Africa.
At Queen Elizabeth National Park, the viewing platform was particularly stunning. Thanks to the skill of my hosts we saw so much wildlife, and came so close to them all, it was unbelievable. I felt like I could almost touch the elephants and tree lions, I was so privileged to be there.

We stopped at Kitagata hot springs, on way to Kabale, where I received a warm welcome from the locals. The bathing was amazing and very relaxing, you can also drink the water for healing. I throughly recommend a visit.

The grand finale of the trip was in the Bwindi Impenetrable Nation Park. A fabulously stunning mountain location the views were out of this world. Trekking to visit the Gorillas was incredibly hard. It’s worth every penny to hire a local to help with your bag and aide you on the tough terrain. The trek is well worth the effort, the Gorillas came so close to us, it was an unbelievable privilege to be amongst their family group. This was a once in a lifetime absolutely incredible experience that I feel so privileged to have undertaken.

I really feel my experience showed me authentic Uganda, thanks to my two hosts. It was a memorable trip which I shall treasure for the rest of my life.
Words can’t express how incredible my experience was. Thank you so much Stanely and Mussa for such a fantastic tour.
