Efficient, excellent and customer focus.
The 8 day 7 nights trip was a very memorable one and zanzibar/safaris experience slotted just nice for the duration for me.
The first day at Stone Town will help if you make a bit of own reserch on places of interest. I didn't do any research at all but lucky enough to engage some casual conversation with the locals and found Forodhani Park area in the afternoon and evening. A musical show was there at the fort in the evening and had a taste of local Zanzibaran music. The old part of Stone Town is really historical and Shoba boutique hotel represented this.
The safari trips are very well arranged for the 5 days 4 night program. I am lucky to have Mr Khalid as the guide. He is very experience, excellent knowledge of the safari and animals, and as he is of the same age he is becoming more of a company for me a solo traveler. The lunch food arrangement during safari were packed but they were freshly prepared in the morning. I enjoyed the food a lot and the menu changes throuhout my safari stay. As for the animals, Mr Khalid knew all potential locations and I managed to see all main animals including the difficult to find rhino and cheetah!
The program to end the trip at the beach in Zanzibar was well designed to wind off the hectic safari trip. Still I used the full day there to go for snorkeling.
All in all, it was a very good trip and thank you Paradise and Wilderness for all the arrangement. I felt the value for money even as a solo traveler which I know the cost can easily be optimised if travelling in a group.
It was a real pleasure dealing with Paradise & Wilderness, as all arrangement are very efficient and I can make the trip at a relatively short notice.

The safari went off without a hitch!
First the car was spacious, well appointed and nearly new - an HZJ79 Toyota Land Cruiser with a locally-made safari body!
Second, Dexter was our guide and driver and what he doesn't know about Kenyan parks, animals, birds, highways and byways is probably not worth knowing!
Dexter is a principal in Kiboko and he and his partner Claire had planned the whole trip to meet our specifications.
Third, we wanted to visit ou-of-the-way parks and lodges while searching out old family connections - schools, farms, etc.
We were so impressed with the Way Dexter and Clare managed our changing whims with grace, good humor and efficiency.
We were not disappointed with any of
the accommodation they recommended!

Magnificent trip through the Tanzania Wildlife Parks
Our vacation started at kilimanjaro airport. The transfer took us to the first hotel. We arrived at Wildlife Resident, our first hotel, around 10am. Despite the fact that we arrived late, a delicious dinner was still available. The next morning we met our guide, Rich Masai. He is a real specialist in driving and has a lot of knowledge about nature. As icing on the cake, he also has the greatest laugh of Tanzania. Rich Masai took us to Tarangiri, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Nationalpark. This safari surpass our expectations and we have seen more diverse wildlife than we could have dreamed. The accomodations where we have stayed so far; Wildlife Resident, Sound of Silence and Manyare best view, were excellent. The staff is great and very kind and the rooms are amazing, clean and comfy.
We would definitely recommend this safari to others.

Magical Trip
Thanks to Lorna Safaris and Judy, we were able to discover a beautiful country, some beautiful places and some beautiful people. Judy took care of everything, giving us a notable peace of mind. A big thank you also to James, our guide and driver, who, thanks to his knowledge of his country and every corner of the parks, amazed us every day. Wonderful experience. Kind and helpful guide!
Everything went really well! We saw lots of animals and birds. The camp was better than we expected with comfortable beds, mosquito nets and bathrooms. Our guide Jimmy worked hard to show us as much as possible and was very patient with us as we had 2 kids along. Communication was easy and the pick up went well! Do be aware that the roads to get back to the Masai Mara area are rough. Think about this is you’re older. It’s like 4 wheeling through grass and bumpy areas. They might have a smoother version (not budget version) for someone older or with injuries. We had the most amazing time and the cost couldn’t be beat.

They are a very competent and professional tour company
My family and I have recently completed a 1 month Northern experience Jenman African Safari. Our tour started in Cape Town, South Africa then going into Namibia, Botswana and ending at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We had wonderful guides in Warren Tilling who was with us in Cape Town and up to the border of Namibia. We then had Norbert Ndlovu lead us for the rest of the tour with our driver Tanguni, who we subsequently named Mister T. These people were most knowledgeable at spotting the animals, birds and items of interest wherever we went. The locations and activities at every stop were first class. we found the facilities brilliant and the staff at each stop very friendly and accommodating. The tour was absolute value for money in all respects.
I was asked at the beginning of our tour what my aim and expectations were. My answer was to see the animals. Particularly "The Big 5".
While on our numerous Safaris I did this many times over, much to my delight. To see the various animals and birds in their natural habitat and up close was a great experience. Being at very close quarters to the Lions would be my highlight followed by the Elephants and Springboks, but they were all nice to see. The two major Wildlife Reserves where we saw most of our animals and birds were Etosha and Chobe. It was at Chobe that we saw close up Crocodiles and Hippos. We had beautiful sunset cruises on the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, these were not to be missed. To see Victoria Falls was an amazing experience, the sight and sound of the Falls were unbelievable. A brilliant end of our tour.
We were really impressed with the fact that we had booked the Northern Safari with Jenman in 2019, but then COVID-19 intervened and threw our plans into chaos. Over two plus years we discussed this matter with Jenman and they kept the option open for us to commence our Northern Experience African Safari at no extra cost. We were able to take our trip of a lifetime In August 2022.

A trip of a lifetime
We are so happy with our experience with Zohar. This was our first safari and they exceeded all our expectations. Lillian was so helpful from the time of booking to the moment we arrived home. Tom, our safari guide was an absolute legend! It was clear that he loved his work and did everything in his power to make sure our experience was the best. This truly was a trip of a lifetime.
