Would have been fantastic except my driver/guide JOSEPH was horrible!
Tanzania itself was fascinating, loved all the animals and the unique scenery. I visited Tarangire NP, Serengeti, and Ngorongo. I wish I had a good guide since the one I was stuck with was unprofessional in every way. If you are going to Tanzania I highly recommend it just make sure your guide/driver isn't named Joseph.

Mixed feeling
Selous park is beautiful but this is not the park to go if you are craving for wildlife and your first safari. Boat safari and game drive are interesting. The walking safari was quite a joke: waking up at 5 am to walk in an area where there is nothing more to see at 6 than at 9. Also I felt bad for the guide who was putting on a show as a "bushman" from the 1920s...

Wonderful Safari Experience
We absolutely loved our experience with Delfin Tours. Annalice helped us plan our entire trip. I cannot say enough about the flexibility of this company during the whole period, how quickly Annalice responded to our emails and the overall ease of planning. We stayed at Kibo Lodge. I recommend staying here because of their amazing services. The food was also top notch thanks to the work of professional chefs. Our guides name was James. We enjoyed getting to know him as he is known by almost everyone in the whole park. He's been a guide for 20 years and is such a great resource. We would definitely have him as a driver in the future. Overall we had the best time at Amboseli. Kudos to Delfin Tours.

There's no one friendlier and more determined to find us the BEST animals than JAMES!!
James was the best safari driver I could imagine!! From the moment we got into the jeep, James made us feel welcome. And it really seemed to me that despite having been a safari driver for many years, he was still excited to see the animals too.
However, the best thing about James was his determination and ability to find us the coolest animals. We would just ask him "James, can we see cheetahs? Can we see a leopard? Can we see a herd of elephants?" and twenty minutes of radio-ing, searching, and speedy driving later, we'd see them. I'm sure some luck was also involved, but without James' detailed knowledge of where the animals were and his EXTREME determination to get us there, we definitely would not have seen as many cool things.
We only did one full day of safari but we were able to see nursing baby elephants, a lion cub, cheetahs hunting (twice), a leopard, a lion eating a zebra, lionesses hunting, tons of hippos and crocodiles, the Great Migration, a herd of elephants, a serval cat, hyenas... the list just goes on and on.
Also, when the majority of our group wanted to do the cultural walk but my partner and I wanted to do another morning of safari, James insisted that we should be able to get that safari and actually set up a private drive for us (at no extra cost). He was just that determined to make sure we got the experience we wanted.

Tsavo east 2 days
We did the 2-day tsavo east safari . From the office they found us a group to share the safari with, they informed us very well and solved our doubts by WhatsApp. They came to pick us up at the door of our accommodation in Diani. During the safari we saw giraffes, red elephants, antelopes, zebras, lions... an unforgettable experience, one of the best days of my life.
We were positively surprised by the lodge, the rooms with views of the elephants, the buffet.... amazing.
Special thanks to Julius, our driver, who made the experience even better, if possible. I recommend 100% the experience and I will repeat for sure!:)
Amazing safari trip
What an amazing experience it was, Suricata has offered us the best experienece we could have asked for, the amount of animals we have seen is unbelievable, Rocky our driver was spot on, he made sure we see all the animals we wanted to see, he looked after us from start to finish and he also told us so many stories and kept us company during the evening, look no where if you are after a Safari trip

Trip of a lifetime!
We recently visited Kenya and Tanzania on a tour organized by Soul of Tanzania, and had an unforgettable experience. Our trip designer, Luis, was helpful and prompt in responding to our numerous emails after postponing our 2020 trip to this year (2022). Our trip included a safari in both the Maasai Mara and Serengeti, followed by a Stone Town and beach add-on in Zanzibar.
Each of our accommodations were comfortable, the food was great, and the staff were both welcoming and helpful. We are very happy with the recommendations provided by Soul of Tanzania.
We were able to see the 'Big 5' on safari, as we were hoping (along with SO many other animals). We loved having a private tour which meant that we could tailor each day to our needs and wants. We also loved the hot air balloon ride with Serengeti Balloon Safaris - this was a highlight of an already amazing trip.
Most importantly, we loved our time with our Tanzanian guide, Wilson. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating - making sure that our trip was everything that we had hoped for. We are very grateful to have had such a wonderful guide!
We would highly recommend Soul of Tanzania to fellow travelers, and hope to one day book another visit to Africa.

The safari I've been waiting for a lifetime
We have just returned from the 5-day excursion with Suricata Safari. It was the first Safari for me and I had very high expectations. I must say that it was a truly exciting experience, beyond my expectations. We visited 4 different national parks, each with its own ecosystem and with different animals that lived inside. Rocky, our guide, was really very attentive and knowledgeable; he took care of the group and did everything to enable us to see as many animals as possible. Between one sighting and the next, Rocky explained the characteristics of the animals, national parks and plants. It was truly a wonderful experience, made of sharing with other travelers. Special thanks to Tito who cooked for us on the safari.
