He was simply the best tour operator I have ever had and made my experience in africa flawless.

Just perfect
5/5

You cannot go wrong by choosing Happy World Safaris company
I had an amazing 4 days trip
I arrived to Kilimanjaro airport, where Joseph the director picked me up, then drove me around in Arusha a little sightseeing tour. Next morning Zebe the guide took care of me. Went to Serengeti passing by Ngorongoro conservation area and spent 2 nights there at KubuKubu.
Everything was well organised, and we saw so many animals but very less tourist/covid times and the end of May/
He was good to find the animals, was a good driver and was able to answer all questions perfectly and was super patient
Zebe just made my trip and a an amazing time, one of my best decisions to make safari in "low" season.
Also our itinerary was perfect and the lodges were wonderful Ngorongoro Serena Lodge has probably the best views on crater rim
Nothing wrong to say, you can only be happy by choosing them
And they are also very respectful about nature I haven´t seen any trash in the plains or inside the crater/this dos not applyes for the rest of Tanzania/.
After my flight to ZNZ Joseph was still checking on me if everything goes smooth. 12 amazing days in Tanzania, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Informative & ressponsive
5/5

We decided to do a somewhat Zim tour hitting Hwange and Vic Falls during the midst of the pandemic and had no idea where to start, what would be open and which activities/ tours would be operating. We were lucky enough to find Off2Africa to do all that work for us. Not only did they have all the updates and correlate all comms, they even suggested their own personal advice when we were left with more than one option (which was lovely to have 'choice' during the pandemic)!

In the end we enjoyed 7 nights split between Hwange and Vic Falls - everything was a 5 star experience. We stayed at the Vic Falls Safari Lodge Island Suites then over to Somalisa in Hwange. What a wonderful trip for us and we will never forget our very special time in the incredible county of Zimbabwe - all possible with the help of Chloe and Off2Africa team!

Be Prepared
4/5

The best statement I can make is that you really need to be prepared for your adventure. The biggest challenge I found was that I was not expecting the amount of travel time that was going to be required based on the itinerary. Because the infrastructure in Kenya is really not good outside of Nairobi, traveling from one park to the next often took 7 or 8 hours and in one case took 12 hours. Had I been advised of this ahead of time, I might have chosen to book smaller adventures, with a re-charge break in Nairobi, rather than stringing one park to the next next. I booked the budget safari, so I was not expecting a whole lot, and that was pretty much on point. I was OK with that, because that's what I booked. My guide James was fantastic, and really knows how to track animals. Because of him I saw the Big 5. A good guy and deserved every ounce of appreciation. Although I booked a shared tour, I was the only one in the group, so it made for long boring rides. I have no problem recommending this company for Safari, but just be prepared for long days, and early mornings, and consider shorter safari trips to different parks, rather than tying them together.

Amazing days in Tanzania
5/5

Traveling to Tanzania in 2015 was our first trip to Afrika. Our guide Didimus from Bushland travel was very caring and through the whole journey we felt more than comfortable in his company and the company of his team.
We spent two weeks in the north eastern part of Tanzania. Besides wonderful gamedrives, Bushland travel organized perfect hiking tours (including an overnight stay in a tent close to a Maasai village) as well as visits at social projects and several local communities.
The accommodations were chosen carefully and were all above our expectations. The car was modern and comfortable. With our driver guide we felt completely safe during the whole safari, even when we had an adventurous feeling driving in the bush.
We had the chance to see and learn a lot about wildlife in Tanzania and about how people live there. Our guide had an answer to all our questions no matter what it was.
We do fully recommend Bushland Travel and hope that we can return soon for another amazing trip with Didimus and his colleagues.

Excellent Service
5/5

Megan, We just returned from our family trip to your country on June 4, 2021. We had a GREAT TIME! Thank you for changing things as required over 2 years (as our trip had to be postponed from May 2020 to May 2021 due to COVID-19). Now our thoughts on the two lodges and our trip overall:

Ngala tented camp: Personalized attention, food was a notch up from the safari lodge. The accommodations were a notch below the safari lodge, given that it is tented. The accommodations were fine (as in decent) but did not really like the outdoor showers. Saw the white lions at Ngala on our first and second days there. Was one of the highlights of our trip. Would we stay at the tented camp again?? ... Possibly.

All the transfers everywhere were seamless. The Fairlawns stay on both occasions was very nice! They really do a very nice job at this hotel. The PCR test to return to the US at Jo berg airport was pretty painless (took the PCR test to avoid the hassle of whether the antigen test would work). Got the results via email in four hours and got the certificates printed out at the airport PCR facility the next day.

Tengile River Lodge; This lodge was truly stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was divine. The snacks on the game drives were a notch better than Ngala. The drinks were top of the line and the four of us had our own safari vehicle. We had Warren as our ranger and Jophet as our tracker. They were both very, very good and really friendly. On day two we saw four of the big five on the morning game drive (lion, black rhino, buffalo, and elephants). On the evening game drive on day two we saw lion, buffalo, elephants and the leopard. Also saw lions with cubs on day 6 and also saw leopard with her cub on day 5. Finally saw the honey badger, which as our ranger at Tengile pointed out is extremely rare to spot. Once again thank you for everything.

One final point the game viewing in the Sabi Sands was very good... as good or better than 2017. The game viewing we thought at Ngala this time was not as good as what we saw in 2017. Paucity of animals... though we were very, very happy to see the white lions of Ngala.

Close up with Tanzania stunning wildlife
5/5

Safari with Steppe Dog Adventures was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we would absolutely love to turn into at least a twice-in-a-lifetime experience. Tanzania superabounds of beautiful nature and a large variety of wildlife and our guides showed us so many breathtaking views, searched the horizon for huge herds and took us closer to many wild animals than we had ever dared to expect. Not to mention that any moment we felt safe, comfortable and easy - and above all: overjoyed and blessed. Credits to Steppe Dogs Adventure and our guides for an unforgettable safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro)

Great communication and experience in Uganda
5/5

We had a great time with Dav Safaris in Uganda!

After contacting multiple companies for our gorilla and chimpanzee safari in Uganda we decided to go with Dav Safaris since they provided by far the clearest and most transparent communications.

Moses, our guide and driver, was both kind and funny. The gorilla trek was an amazing experience, and I strongly recommend it! The chimpanzees were also cool, although I'd for sure prioritize the gorillas. Dav Safaris also organized a tour to a village near Kibale which was another highlight
