Attentive, fun and extremely well-organised: the best tour operator in town
We spent 10 days in Uganda with Gorilla Link Tours and each day we were so glad to have chosen this tour operator.
From the get go, Carol provided us with a tailor-made itinerary that would take us through the South-West of the country and she was full of tips and suggestions. She is incredibly attentive and flexible, we felt looked after from the very beginning until the end.
Carol made a point of meeting us on our first and last day of the journey, to prepare us for the beautiful adventure we were about to embark on and to get a first feedback on it. This was just a proof of her immense care for her clients. On top of that, she is such a warm, open and overall cool lady, meeting her was a treat.
The main reason we picked Gorilla Link Tours is their commitment to responsible and sustainable travel. Indeed, we didn't only experience the main attractions of Uganda, such as the extremely moving Gorilla tracking in Bwindi, the exciting Chimp tracking in Kibale, the rewarding hike on the Rwenzori and the riveting game drives (just to name a few!!). We also had several activities with the local communities, such as the Bigodi swamp tour or meeting the Batwa Pygmies. These activities allowed us to meet inspiring locals, to experience their culture and ways of living and left us with so much food for thought. Gorilla Link Tours' support for the local communities is what truly makes them a special operator worth choosing.
On top of this, each of the stunning lodges we stayed in runs on renewable energy and made a point of providing comfort and luxury in a sustainable way. The food was also outstanding, we already miss the traditional Rolex!

Amazing experience!
We did a 4 days safari throughout the Serengeti,
Ngorongoro Crater and the lake Manyara.
The communication before booking and all the way until the end has been great.
Our guide Godfrey was very kind, dedicated in providing us with the best experience and comfort, shoutout to him and the rest of the team.

Amazing safari experience with dedicated guide!
We had a private 4-days tour for my family, my daughter's dream was to see leopard & cheetah, which is quite hard goal, but our guide Izack did all so well — we caught both right on the first day. Whole safari tour was amazing, including tasty meals with local food, beautiful places for accommodation and telling stories about Tanzania & their people. I would definitely recommend Safari Soles for safari arrangement and especially Izack as a guide!!!

Joel was amazing and instantaneously became part of our family holiday.
Joel, our tour guide for 3 days, was amazing. He instantaneously became part of our Christmas safari journey. The teaser Safari the first evening after getting out to the bush was great. The next day it was completely phenomenal. We saw an unprecedented 14 lions, due in part to Joel's ability to network with other drivers, with the best advice on prime locations not coming over the CB. We saw lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebra, hippos, wildebeasts, hundreds of migrating water buffalo, a plethora of birds, gazelle, impala, hyenas, warthogs, topi, baboons, crocodiles... He knew the great places to stop for lunch. He helped me haggle for some Safari hats on the side of the road. He thrilled our 13-year-old son with his offroading capabilities, allowing him to ride shotgun, the same mud that multiple other drivers got stuck in. On the way back, he even pulled off to allow me to grab a geocache. We could not have asked for a better experience or guide.

Very nice safari driver, Albert
We had a great time Albert on our 5 day safari. He took the time to explain things we saw on safari and answer any questions we had. He is very knowledgeable. We saw the Big 5, thanks to our guide! We stayed at 3 places on our tour, Dove Nest Resort, Rhino Camp, and Hotel
CityMax. Dove Nest Resort was our favorite! Fantastic place, excellent food, and very nice, welcoming staff! Rhino Camp was also very nice. We stayed in a tent and the food was good and staff very nice. It was a great experience!

7 Day Safari
We went on the 7 day safari and it was amazing! Ezekiel was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and a great driver. We chose the mid grade accommodations and all of the accommodations were perfect. All the food was very good. I highly recommend Suricata for your safari and would definitely come back!

Greatest adventure with great company
The greatest tour I have ever been on (7 day in Tarangire, lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). Suricata made every step of the way worry free and hassle free. Their vehicle was great (comfortable and capable with no issues), great lodging choices (the angata serengeti is my new favorite stay anywhere), good food (we actually had hot meals for lunch everyday). Our guide (Ezekiel) was super friendly/cool, knew the areas like the back of his hand, is very in tune and knowledge with the animals behaviors/tendencies leading to great wildlife viewing & a very capable driver (not getting stuck like others we saw when conditions worsened due to rain).
Also props for being a Tanzania owned company, there are a lot of foreign owned operators. Support local.
I would take the same tour again in the future... No doubt!

Exceeded expations in communication, organization and consideration
We are an elderly couple , first time on safari and Serengeti Smile made this an enjoyable, interesting and safe experience for us. We saw a huge variety of animals and learned a lot about their life and habits from our guide/ driver. He also went the extra mile to give us the best opportunities to view the animals. The accommodation highlight was staying in the bush camp. We strongly recommend this company for a safari.
