Kudakwashe is a wonderful and knowledgeable experience touring Victoria Falls in December 2023
It was a wonderful experience touring with Kuda. He promptly picked us up at the hotel and we had our tour of Victoria Falls going through all the stations top down; also enjoyed the little anecdotes he told us as he was showing us the sites. Of course we had our refreshments prior to boarding our ride back to the hotel. We were tired but visiting Victoria Falls is priceless. Thank you.

Incredible trip - Kalanaga exceeded expectations!
We are two families with 5 college age children and this was our first safari experience. We spent a lot of time researching all dimensions of the different options - accommodations, tour operators, vehicles options, and routes/destinations. We concluded that the tour operator and their guides were the most important decision criteria because everything else is essentially a commodity. We chose Kalanga because it was clear across their excellent reviews that their owner and lead guide ‘Shoes’ was clearly a standout in terms of knowledge, personality and experience.
Sure enough, Kalanga exceeded our expectations. Given Shoes and his team and their families have lived and guided in the park for generations, their knowledge was incredible and they constantly provided tons of insight that enriched our experience. The meals they prepared were excellent and all logistics and communication were top notch. They even went above and beyond to accommodate a portion of our party who had a last minute itinerary change. Shoes also arranged a great one day tour of Johannesburg before the start of our safari. If you want a professional, turn-key experience, within incredibly knowledgeable and authentic local guides, who will help design a phenomenal experience, I would highly recommend Kalanga. When we go back, our first call will be to Shoes!

I've been with Dav Safaris on a "12 Days best of Uganda Wildlife Encounter"- package, including Gorilla and Chimp trekkings and I had a lifetime experience. It started with the booking of the trip, with Reagan being available, helpful, swift and kind as well as flexible within the package. Once booked it only got better with the actual trip... which was just perfect: selected activities/safaris/parks/meals/accommodation. And the best, my guide and driver Boaz had eagle eyes. He could spot animals and scenes miles away, when some other cars would just have passed without noticing, and patiently and eagerly assisted me in taking the best pictures. He was also very flexible - when possible - on some of the planned activities to take for example into account the incoming weather or other changed preferences.
Definitely a big shout out to these very professional and kind guys, who made from this lifetime experience in Uganda a complete success.

We enjoyed the organization of our safari organized by Meru Slopes. Since we arrived at the airport we were taken care of.
The whole team did their utmost to make our stay unforgettable. We thank them for sharing their beautiful country and its wildlife with us during these 4 days when we rode on the slopes of the different parks visited. The guide did everything possible to find and let us photograph the "big five" and it was truly an enchanted break from our trip to Tanzania. The nights at the campsite were comfortable and the places very clean. The chef ensured that the food was good and plentiful at every meal. We really enjoyed how the African big cats safaris built up the program with the Ngorongoro and Serenghetti as the climax of the safari. We managed to see all big five! We chose the mid-range accomodations offered by the safari operator and were satisfied with our choice. Khalid really knows his stuff and you can ask him any questions that might pop into the head.
