Incredible Wildlife, Expert Guide, and Delightful Accommodations!
5/5

We are incredibly satisfied and cannot forget our unforgettable experience in Tanzania and its breathtaking National Parks. The safari was truly amazing, and we had the privilege of witnessing a plethora of animals. In Serengeti and Ngorongoro, we were thrilled to see numerous lions, and we were even lucky enough to spot leopards and cheetahs in Serengeti. Additionally, we explored Arusha National Park, which served as a wonderful starting point, and Tarangire, where we were mesmerized by the abundance of elephants.
Throughout the safari, it was just the two of us in the jeep, and our guide Ayubu was not only friendly but also astonishingly adept at spotting animals from afar.
While some of the roads were bumpy, and the drive to Serengeti presented its challenges, the overall experience was truly remarkable. We genuinely cherished every moment of our time in Tanzania.

Great care of us!
5/5

Ok, Kilimanjaro was super hard, I had altitude sickness from day 2, got cold and overall realized mountain climbing is harder than I thought! However, I’m reviewing the team and the company and it was all excellent! We had three porters each, great cook and 2 guides for 3 people and they made our experience very nice. They were welcoming, encouraging us to get to the end and personally one of the guides Isa dragged me the last 30 mins to the summit, otherwise I wouldn’t have made it. Emmanuel was the lead guide and he was very knowledgeable, took great care of us but also encouraged us with some songs and silly chants when we were about to give up going up the summit. So, don’t underestimate how difficult this can be, try hiking up another 4K mountain first just to see how it goes, have enough warm clothes cause it’s damn cold all the time, but if you do decide to go this company is solid. Have enough cash for tipping cause apparently at Kili it is more than expected on other hikes, as if you are going solo you might not be in the big group and because of laws you cannot carry a lot of stuff so you’ll have a lot of porters. Approx 20% on top of what you paid for the trip is a recommendation so have that in mind.

Amazing experience in the wild
4/5

We spent 3 days and 2 nights respectively in Salt Lick Lodge and in Kibo Camp (in front of Kilimangiaro). We visited 3 parks: amboseli was incredible! We saw lots of animals like lions, elephants, hippo, etc. Our guide Daniel was very nice giving is the possibility to Make lots of nice pictures! Alice as Morning Star’s tour operator was available 24hours for any kind of assistance. We liked Amboseli a lot with Kilimangiaro’s view: thanks to our guide Daniel we visited also a Masai Village in front of Kilimangiaro. Here we entered in touch with local culture and traditions.

We are coming back and will be booking with Gosheni again!
5/5

What was meant to be a family trip for my mum's 70th birthday in 2020 got COVID delayed until 2023, but we finally made it!

We did 8 days / 7 nights covering Tarangire, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We saw all of the big 5; lion cubs are CUTE followed very closly by three cheetahs brothers rolling around in the grass just being big cats.

What could have been a dampener on the whole trip, my mum's luggage got lost/delayed by Qatar, got turned around by the team at Gosheni - they got us into Arusha to pick up supplies before heading out in safari, and then kept chased up with the airline and managed to get her luggage delivered into one of the small airports in Central Serengeti a couple of days later - AMAZING service!

Our guide Laban was something else to behold - he is knowledgeable, passionate about the animals, environment and culture. His sharp eves meant we saw everything we had wished for and so much more. He was a pleasure to be around and made the trip even more special. He was so kind to my mum, helping her in and out the 4x4, making sure he used her phone and his binoculars to get her some spetactular photos - a true gentleman. Reading the reviews again after the trip its clear Gosheni knows how to pick their guides perfectly.

We also should mention the accomodation and their staff were all fantastic and the most friendly, welcoming people you could hope to meet. Food was great, and the packed lunches were always good - we were never hungry! Having a pinic lunch under a tree in the middle of the Serengeti with wildebeest just wandering around was a highlight.

Many, many thanks to Peter for all the planning and being so accomidating with the COVID delays, and just as many thanks to Laban for being an truly incredible guide.

We are coming back and will be booking with Gosheni again!

Excellent - Most helpful and well organised!
5/5

We booked a 7 day safari with super Eagles. I am always reading reviews and doing research in advance of a big trip, going as far as emailing hotels to ensure they worked with/ had heard of super eagles. From the get go beforehand they were prompt at responding to my emails and answering all my questions. We wanted to upgrade from the standard hotel’s offered to slightly more luxurious, which they did for us and it was absolutely the best decision. If you can I would 100% recommend paying a bit more for this. They also helped us arrange taxi collection to and from the airport which was super helpful. Also booking trains for our travel afterwards to Mombasa which was very helpful as the trains get booked up quickly (we had no idea), and paid using their payment system which helped us immensely. The actual safari was very well organised, we had a fantastic group of people and Edward our guide for the week was amazing. So knowledgeable and really made our trip special. We saw so much more than anticipated. If you possible request him when booking a tour, you won’t regret it. They staff and food at all the hotels were amazing and we didn’t have one complaint. Overall such an amazing holiday and even post the safari super eagles helped us with questions and bookings. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!

The best safari company around!
5/5

This was the trip of a lifetime and it surpassed our wildest dreams. We had the most wonderful week on safari and couldn’t recommend Kojuu Safaris more highly.

Peter was absolutely amazing and he made our trip. He has “eagle eyes” and can spot animals miles off - meaning we always got the best view!

Peter was hugely knowledgeable and answered all of our (many) questions with his trademark combination of insight and humour. He taught us a huge amount in a short time (including some Swahili lessons on top). As if that’s not enough, he remained calm no matter what was happening (including an unexpected thunderstorm or when we had an elephant tapping on the side of our car!). We felt completely relaxed the entire time, knowing that he had everything under control. We absolutely loved our time with Peter and we’re jealous of anyone who has a trip planned with him.

Judith is super too - she is very responsive and so efficient. This was a big trip for us and she was quick to answer questions or make changes to our itinerary. From our very first email we felt we were in safe hands and we were right - everything ran perfectly due to the hard work of everyone in Kojuu.

Very excellent!
5/5

We booked for Masai Mara from google, the company has fast replies and comfort website. We went with Johnny; our guide, he is very nice and servant person, he explained everything and made sure we see as many animals as we can from the best view. He is very friendly and had a lot of patience while taking the photos and through the tour.
He is an excellent driver too and fun person to be with!
Ask for Johnny to be your guide and you will be very happy and enjoy the travel!!
The people in the camp were nice and welcoming.
Thank you for the experience!

Very attentive, engaging, and fun.
5/5

I just finished getting to explore Uganda and Rwanda with Gorilla O'Clock and I cannot recommend it enough to anybody else who is looking to come to East Africa. Paul (the owner) was so accommodating and responsive throughout the entire planning process and made sure I knew exactly what was happening throughout the months leading up to traveling. I was lucky enough to have Osbert as my guide and after a warm in person welcome and thanks from Paul, Osbert took over for the rest of the trip. Osbert too was just as amazing for the actual trip as Paul had been for the planning. He was a lot of fun to talk to and did an amazing job of balancing professionalism with friendliness. He always made sure I was getting the most out of my trip and ended up feeling more like a friend than like my guide by the end of it. Gorilla O'Clock did an amazing job of making sure that I felt comfortable and welcome as well as really listening to what I wanted and made great suggestions for the things I expressed as wishes for my trip. Uganda and Rwanda were amazing countries that I hope everyone can come see like I did and I cannot recommend Osbert, Paul, and Gorilla O'Clock enough for planning that trip! Their attention to detail and genuine caring for me and my experience is not something I will soon forget. Many many thanks for my amazing trip Gorilla O'Clock!
