We took the 7 day Taste of Kenya Safari using a Land cruiser and it was a wonderful experience. Robert was very responsive and helped us decide on the itinerary, replying to every little query through mail/WhatsApp promptly. Arrangements were great and the trip was organized well. And yes, it is better to opt for a land cruiser as compared to a van, We couldn't have asked for a better guide than Antony, a steady driver, hawk eyed where spotting was concerned, a kind human who made us very comfortable and took care to make the safari an unforgettable experience. This despite having to spend Christmas away from family on duty to take us on the safari. Beyond the call of duty, he helped retrieve a personal article which one of us had left behind at one of the resorts, through his network of friends and colleagues. We believe we saw an incredible variety of animals and birds thanks to his experience and timing.
The trip was well curated giving enough time at Masai Mara and Amboseli. Only thing to look out for in case one opts for mid range accommodation like we did is that - in Lake Nakuru if your accommodation is inside the park area, you can go in a second time (next day) with the same entry fee. If not you cannot unless you pay again. So it is advisable to check the itinerary and the location of your hotel. Masai Mara and Amboseli are no problems that way.

This is how to do Namibia - with Great Explorations Namibia
Holiday of a lifetime. We had a vague idea of what we wanted to do and see, but without Great Explorations Namibia - and Lilly in particular - we would have been traveling blindly across the country. And you want to have your eyes open all the time in Namibia, every inch is such a thrilling sight. Great Explorations Namibia put together our itinerary and it just kept giving and giving. It was the right combination of 1 night here, 2 nights there. All done with professionalism and endless courtesy. And the price was right - the right amount of comfort and luxury without blowing the budget. We are off to Botswana with Great Explorations Namibia in March and we go with confidence that it will be equally well planned and organised for us.

Most organized, Maggie was great!
Honestly I was very impressed with how Maggie was very professional and patient with us throughout the planning process of our trip to Kenya.
Trip and everything went perfectly according to plan, the hotels, excursions and transfers were well arranged.
All the people involved in our trip were very friendly and professional as well ,they were ready to help anytime we needed

Great Safari Adventure
Danielle kept us informed before and during our Safari. Jeffery, our guide, had 16 years experience and an eagle eye for spotting wildlife and bringing it to our attention. The Panorama tour was fantastic...but make sure you go when the weather is nice. Our hotel had large rooms, a welcoming and kind staff, and air conditioning that worked. (For Americans that are only used to high end US hotels, you may want to spend more money and request fancier accommodations...though I did enjoy our stay at our hotel.)

Good quality tour with experienced guide
Greatly enjoyed the visit to the Masai Mara. Our driver and guide, Collins, did a fantastic job at showing us the best of the Masai Mara and adapting to meet the preferences of our small group.
I also thought the tour was very good value for money - I spent almost nothing between leaving Nairobi and arriving back. Some organisational points by Karibu could have been better - eg much less waiting around in Nairobi before setting off for the Masai Mara and better communicating the itinerary in advance. The quality of food in the safari lodge could also have been better.
But overall a fantastic trip that was exactly what I was looking for

Responsive & dependable
Risper, our customer service manager, was very flexible and responsive in accommodating a last minute change of dates, which we very much appreciated. William, our tour guide, was an extremely gentle, patient and punctual individual whose company we cherished. He was knowledgeable about the fauna and flora in both of our destinations (Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru) and we learned a lot from his insights. Our experience would not have been the same without him. He showed a genuine desire to make our trip as pleasant and fulfilling as possible by going out of his way to make sure we saw all big 5 animals.
Highly recommended.

Unforgettable unique trip of a life time
A tour to Kenya visiting Mara, we mostly spent 3nights at each location provide an in-depth experience of each locality and the Accommodation was mostly homestay.
On most days we had a driver and guide who added the usual commercial attractions and we were able to gain a much greater understanding of the culture and nature of each location. All in all our trip was perfectly organized.

We had the best trip ever
The tour was great and everything ran smoothly from the airport pick up to airport drop off. The driver/guide imparted a great deal of information, he kept us going on time and gave us lots of options.
The hotels were clean and well enough appointed. i would recommend it highly.
